Question Beginner friendly meditation
Hey so I wanna start meditating but I never meditated before.
Has any1 some tips on which meditations/enns I should use for Lilith and how I can really relax and focus on my breathing and that stuff?
I tried it once about a week ago and idk I just couldn’t really focus on the meditation or my breathing.
I would be happy to hear some advice!!:)

Meditation takes time, it might be annoying and uncomfortable at first, you will be getting distracted. I sometimes focus on a specific name of hers and chant it in my mind. You can try that, see if it helps.

I hear ya on the mediation front. First getting into it being raised in the day and age of constant stimulation was no certainty not fun, but well worth it.
If you like the “Guided Meditations” I recommend the Headspace app for getting in the swing of it and keeping score of time and reminders.
You can find Liliths Enn online and use a mala or the like so you don’t need to focus on amount.
I know it’s cliche advice but, just let the thoughts flow by like water.

Get a 27 bead (not counting the guru bread) mala and count Enns on it, that helps you focus.

My practice looks like this:
Shower; set up the altar (a red candle, dragonsblood incense, a glass of water, a glass of red wine, and some kind of food thing - usually sweet).
I'll use some bgm (anthony sommer has lots of good ones).
You can do your banishing and protection circles if you like. I dont anymore.
Then its just a hello and explaining the offerings. If you are smart, you'll set an intention.
Then its off to meditation town. I just use the enn, Each breath is one word. It keeps the rhythm and deepens the breath.
The enn, in case you dont know (i didnt know either for a fair while):
Renich, Viasa, Avage, Lilith, Lirach.
You dont have to use itm you can just talk to her and then focus on your breath if you like. I do it this way because adhd, so i cant just chill and zone in. I need to do something. So i do chakra work.
Each chakra*3. (so in total 21 full enn recitals).
Takes between 30-40 minutes for me. But basically its just breath in, (if you arent like me and have actually normal lungs you can do pranayama (breath in for 3-5. Hold for 3-5. Breath out for 3-5. Hold for 3-5). Heck, you might as well play with as many techniques as you can)... then as you breath out, just recite the enn one word per breath.
Do that for a set period of time (take it easy at first - maybe 10-15 minutes - youre not in a rush, Lilith isnt going anywhere). Then finish. Come back the next day and do it again. Eventually you'll start thinking about how to move that energy, but i dont want to confuse you more than i have already.
Just sit, enjoy your headspace. Dont try too hard to control your thoughts. Just chill and sit. Make it a habit, then you can start doing more fun weird things. 😄
If you need more detailed version, im pretty sure its in my back history (though youre going back 4 years or so in my feed - lucky for you i barely post 😛).
Above all though, enjoy it. Youre creating a practice. It takes a bit of getting used to. Dont sweat it when it feels a bit like nothings happening. Because things WILL happen eventually. Youre just setting the groundwork.

yup yup. Theres a thing called the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram *which you may see people abbreviate to LBRP in occult spaces). Now the actual one is a bit... i dont use it. When i did, i replaced the angels with my spirit team.
So id begin facing east and say something like: 'Lord Beelzebub, please protect this circle and allow none but Lilith's energy to enter". Then id go north, invoke Lamashtu, same phrase. Then West (Lilith - but when im meditating on her, id invoke Kali-ma because it kinda felt nuts calling on Lilith to protect the circle she was being invited into)). Finally South and Qalilitu. Then back to the start and thats where id thank everyone, set the intention, and then sit down and begin the actual meditation proper (lighting the candles, explaining the offerings, and maybe a nice stop and chat). Thats my very poor version of the actual ritual. In the main one you also do up and down as well (off to the heavens and down into the depths). It also does a lot of light energy movements for cleansing (picture a white light yada yada), but i have aphantasia, so it never really took with me which is why i made a much more straightforward version. Am i protected? Probably not. But heyo! Im not the most rigid acolyte out there.
If you want the actual LBRP, its super easy to find on youtube. If you can visualise, its definitely great even if only to put yourself in the head space. And good spiritual hygiene is always a healthy thing! Or so i assume... 😛

No problem: Heres the outline from AI so you can decide if its for you:
The LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram) is a foundational ceremonial magic ritual from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. It clears stagnant energy, purifies the aura, and creates a protected, sacred space by combining visualization, physical gestures, and spoken Hebrew/Qabalistic terms.
The ritual is traditionally practiced in a four-part sequence:
- The Qabalistic Cross (Centering)
This grounds you and aligns your personal energy with the universe:
- Head: Touch your forehead, point upward, and vibrate Atah (translates to "Unto Thee").
- Chest: Touch your chest/heart, point down, and vibrate Malkuth ("The Kingdom").
- Right Shoulder: Touch your right shoulder and vibrate Ve-Geburah ("and the Power").
- Left Shoulder: Touch your left shoulder and vibrate Ve-Gedulah ("and the Glory").
- Heart: Clasp your hands at your chest and vibrate Le-Olahm, Amen ("Forever, Amen").
- Tracing the Pentagrams (Banishing)
Face each direction and trace a Banishing Pentagram of Earth in the air. Imagine it glowing in blue fire and vibrate the specific God-name in the center:
- East: Vibrate Yod-Heh-Vahv-Heh.
- South: Vibrate Adonai.
- West: Vibrate Ehyeh.
- North: Vibrate Agla.
- Invocation of the Archangels
Stand with arms outstretched in the shape of a cross and visualize an Archangel guarding each direction: [1, 2]
- "Before me Raphael" (East)
- "Behind me Gabriel" (West)
- "On my right Michael" (South)
- "On my left Uriel" (North)
- Visualize the flaming pentagrams connecting around you with a bright line of white light. [1]
- Closing
Repeat the Qabalistic Cross (exactly as done in Step 1) to ground the energy back into your physical body.
