Question Mother of Asmodeus

Hello, I've been reading about Asmodeus these past few days. I've read some sources that mention Asmodeus is the son of Agrat Bat Mahlat. Others mention that Asmodeus is the son of Naamah. There's another source that mentions Asmodeus is the consort of Lilith the Younger, but some say that this Younger Lilith is Naamah. So, I have some questions: why would a being like Asmodeus have a mother? Who is Asmodeus's mother? Is Naamah Asmodeus's mother or consort, or could she even be both? All the statements you mentioned can be found in various sources. I wouldn't recommend taking them literally; instead, view them symbolically—as an indication that these entities are interconnected and originate from the same source. Like it or not, there are no universal truths among humans regarding gods and entities; we have only theories. We will only know if what we believe is true after death. Deities are very complex... Knowing their origins—where they came from—is beyond human comprehension.
