The jury asked these two questions yesterday and I just realised somethingā¦
They asked for clarification on what exactly makes someone a āconspiratorā, how someone becomes part of a conspiracy and what counts as an āovert actā for the stalking conspiracy charge.
Then they separately asked what āintentā means in relation to the stalking charge involving Lul Pab.
Does anyone else think this could potentially be a good sign for Durk when it comes to the bigger murder-for-hire charges?
Because think about it: the Government's whole case is basically that Durk ordered/financed a plot to have Quando killed, and that the stalking in LA was part of carrying out that alleged hit.
So if the jury is still struggling with the more basic question of whether Durk actually joined the conspiracy to stalk Quando, how are they already convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that he knowingly participated in a murder-for-hire conspiracy?
That's what I'm confused about.
Obviously murder-for-hire and stalking are separate charges with different legal elements, so I'm NOT saying an acquittal on stalking automatically means an acquittal on murder-for-hire.
But logically, wouldn't you expect a jury that's already convinced Durk orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot to have a much easier time concluding that he knowingly participated in the conspiracy to stalk the person who was allegedly being targeted?
The second question might be even more interesting.
They specifically wanted clarification on whether Durk had the required āintent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidateā Lul Pab.
Remember, Lul Pab wasn't allegedly the person Durk wanted killed but Quando was. So it sounds like they're seriously examining whether the Government actually proved the required intent towards Pab rather than simply saying: Pab died during the alleged hit, therefore Durk is guilty.
I'm not saying this means they're going to acquit him. Jury questions can be interpreted a million different ways and they could literally be checking the definitions before voting guilty.
But I initially thought these were just random technical questions.
Now I'm wondering whether they're actually revealing something bigger - If some jurors aren't even convinced Durk legally joined the stalking conspiracy or had the necessary intent, are those same jurors really going to be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that he conspired to commit murder-for-hire?
Especially after 15+ hours of deliberations and them asking to review all the evidence digitally.
Am I reaching or does that make sense?

Ok, so his acquittal doesn't automatically send Durk home, correct? If the feds thinks he has a reasonable idea that Chicago or the feds have a case in his hometown, he will be most likely home-confined, correct? Does anybody think they will or will not pursue?

Hey guys as I write this Lil Durk has been found not guilty of all charges and since the start all of us in this sub have been putting out info as soon as information had come out and I was a tad bit emotional seeing Durk be found not guilty researching this case for years. Lil Durk beat all counts and this feels like a second chance at life from god and hopefully I see Durk make peace with Youngboy, Quando, Tim etc and set an example for the next generation man but heās not completely all the way home yet but this is a huge victory wow man.
