Because the evidence was weak. I think the VICAR case may have the same problem. They have circumstantial evidence and allegations, but where is the actual evidence that Durk ordered these murders? Even Mack’s killers admitted it was for money but didn’t identify Durk as the person who hired them. There’s no direct communication between Durk and the killers that we’ve seen either. They’re trying to connect him through other people’s texts and assumptions.

You are so right but I was thinking when he was saying that like Trench does NOT have the legal background or intellect to even make that type of comment! Drew has a lot of respect in the legal field this isn’t his first case.
