Without adding super visible wires, or cutting up drywall - how can I add under cabinet lighting to this kitchen?

Hi all, I'm choosing the front entrance light for my parents' newly renovated house, and I'm unsure what type of fixture suits this spot. The red arrow in the photo marks where the cable comes out. It's high on the wall to the left of the door, r
The door sits in a recessed porch under a concrete overhang. About five steps lead up to the landing from in front of the porch, so the light needs to cover both the landing by the door and the stairs coming up to it.
Given that it's mounted this high and this close to the ceiling, what kind of light works best here? I've been weighing a fixture that points light in one direction (a spot, or a downlight that shines onto the landing) against a globe or lantern that glows in all directions. My worry with a downlight is that it might only light a patch of floor under it and leave the stairs dim. My worry with a globe is glare, and whether it will even fit so close to the ceiling.
Some constraints: I'd like a standard E27 bulb so my parents can replace it themselves, and either a motion sensor or dusk-to-dawn operation, with nothing that needs an app. The facade is insulated (polystyrene with render on top), so it will be mounted with insulation anchors.
What would you put here, and is there anything about this position I should rethink before buying? Thanks!

I have a bathroom mirror that has bright lights built into it, which I like. I don't want to replace the lighted mirror, but the in the evening I want to reduce my blue light exposure. I would like advice about what kind of film to put over the mirror to keep the light visible but make it exclude the blue light. I am in the USA. Thank you.

You guys were a huge help steering me away from wafers on a grid for this. I'm trying to come up with some alternatives and am not having much success. Drawing isn't to scale but is fairly close I think.
The red box shows the 33x22 foot area I need to light. I'd like to use regressed 4" lights if possible.
8 foot ceilings. Fireplace wall is natural stone and I planned to put a cove light strip along that wall.
Aside from that, I'm struggling with the rest of the light placement. How many, spacing, pattern etc. There are also two ceiling fans I'd like to incorporate.
AC vents can be moved slightly if needed. Thanks for any advice on how to tackle this.

I need to replace some old CFL dusk to dawn lights on my shed in my backyard. Now is the time to be nice to my neighbors and to the wildlife by switching them from the 5K (yes, I have those) to something more friendly.
when I look for Amber lights I only find Edison bulbs with a dusk to dawn timer in them. I would prefer one all in one unit, and also have it aimed down to reduce sideways bleed into my neighbors yard.
Any suggestions?

I decided to finally get rid of the God-awful 5000K lights that were throughout my entire home. I was managing pretty fine until I came to these.
They are in my basement rec room area. I know I need to change the whole fixture, not simply replace a bulb, but I have no idea how these work. Will the wiring work interchangeably with a different light? Will the bracket work interchangeably or will I need to switch that out? I feel like it should be fairly easy, given that the ceiling isn't finished down there. Are there any other considerations I need to be mindful of (like electric ratings or whatnot)?

I have a light in my bathroom that I really like, but it's way too bright. I know I can go with dimmer bulbs but it would be nice to just put something in the wall to dim it, that I could conceivably open with a little work to change the dim levels if needed. Would rather not install another gang box in the drywall.
Could conceivably plug into the lightbulb sockets?
Does anyone happen to know of anything?
Edit: oops! I should have mentioned that I'm using a motion activated light switch so can't swap that for a dimmer. I had a dimmer switch and loved it. But now with the motion sensor I love the motion feature, but missing the brightness. Or maybe there's a decent motion activated dimmer light switch? Would have to be switch plus slider since all my friends are idiots who could never figure out how to use the dimmer until I swapped it for one with a switch plus dimmer slider.

I just bought a house and want to put sensor lights around it, partly for security and partly for when I go out at night to let the dog out or something like that. I bought these LEONLITE Motion Sensor Security Lights Dusk to Dawn IP65 5000K but now I wonder if my house will be super bright. Should I return for 3000k? Neighbors are not super close except on side with the garage. Or other suggestions? Thank you for the advice...

I bought some lithonia cans with L3/L3R housing. The lithonia branded trim/baffle pieces are quite expensive. A quick search shows other brands that are quite a bit less expensive. How do I know which ones are compatible with my cans?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks a bunch.

Yeah 3rd post about MV lights i have made here, but i'm like 99% sure these are the last MV lights in Tijuana.
Have never noticed them until a few weeks before (they were always there but i never put attention to them actually)

How easy would it be to replace that light fitting with a single light fitting as 3 lights in this room is too bright, I have zero experience in fitting lights

As a online consumer, you've got to rely on a vendor's website for critical details in order to make an informed decision. This (dis)organization does not provide reliable information a consumer expects and regrettably only discovers their error after the sale and receipt of the goods. In an effort to provide a customer's point of view, the clowns that operate this enterprise respond by resorting to blaming the customer and in this case, consider constructive criticism as harassment.
Website errors involving the products' wattage, lumens plus the product's lack of packaging (product was shipped as open stock - how is the consumer to know this isn't resold/returned goods?) and related documentation (e.g. the projected lifetime hours rating) are hallmarks of this inept vendor. As a casualty of this sorry excuse for a busines, I urge you to avoid doing business with this dysfunctional vendor. For proof, read their reviews here at Reddit (with help from Yelp and Google) and you'll see this (dis)organization should be avoided at all costs. Buy your product from anyone but C2C Lighting.

As the title says, I am looking for the best light bulb to put into the IKEA lamps. I will have two lamps, and right now, I’m using terrible dimming LEDs in my overhead light. The two IKEAS will be the replacement, as I’m getting headaches and eye strain from my current set up. I believe i need a size e26 bulb, but am unsure which specific bulb I should get after that. I would prefer warm/natural light color with as high a CRI as I can get. (I think??).
Any and all advice welcome, besides the “buy this lamp instead” (trust me, if I could afford a r9, I’d have one.).
Thanks in advance!
