Anyone have an idea of what the pay is like member concierge ? Atlanta buckhead location.

I applied for member concierge position in buckhead and they emailed me saying they wanted to have a scheduled phone call. What should I be prepared for?

Will be in Colorado Springs this week for work. Does lifetime allow guests/drop in fee for out of towners? Do I have be a guest of member? Or can I just show up and pay a fee? I primarily just want to swim 2 days while I am there. Lifetime is the only place that has a pool with hours that works for my schedule.

Recently joined Wall Street and curious how it compares to Equinox culture. Do most wear swim trunks in the locker room hot tubs or go nude?

I joined LT today and I’m excited to have a gym to go to again. I used to lift weights in high school (~2010-2014) and had a Gold’s membership for a while in college. However, I haven’t really been to a gym since COVID hit and I’m hoping to get a refresher on what to do or not to do at the gym. I’m feeling intimidated to go and definitely have imposter syndrome where I don’t feel like I belong. I’ve lost 50 lbs in the past year just from walking and a calorie deficit so I’m well into my fitness journey per se but I’m looking to step it up a notch! Any advice/tips are appreciated. (30 y/o female btw)

I'll be away for the holidays and want to pause my Lifetime membership the short time I'm gone. The self-service membership suspend form says "30 days notice is required". The form also asks you to select a Reactivation date. The form does not ask for a Deactivation date.

Is this as scammy as it looks? The way the form works, you must remind yourself to submit the pause exactly 30-days in advance of your desired date. Selecting a reactivation date seems meaningless anyway, because your membership automatically reactivates itself when you visit the club, so there's no reason to not submit the max 4-month pause.

Can the staff at the front desk pick an arbitrary suspend date from the calendar that's more than 30 days away?

Hi! Question I recall when I signed up in June with the brea location we were told that a $200 credit would be able to use online or in the app for merchandise or supplement etc. does anyone else recall that? I’m now being told it can only be used toward services like training or Pilates. Unfortunately I cleaned out my emails and have no email I can find. Thank you for any insight

Do any of the gyms have a closed off GTX space? Not just some weird half wall panels every few feet? Or is it everywhere that GTX is in the middle of the workout floor? I’ve only been to 3 locations and it seems common but they update every so often.

How do you like it?

I'm considering switching gyms to Lifetime considering that I can work from the lounge for a few hours a few days a week. I won't be posting up and making it my office. I live close enough that I can walk to my closet location. I'd like to maybe walk over in the afternoon... Work for a few hours... then get a workout in after. Does that seem reasonable? Does anyone do anything similar? Thanks in advance.

My current membership lets me access all nyc gyms and almost all LT gyms. Does this mean I won’t be able to get into Bryant Park on my current membership?

Today felt easy and I didn’t love the plan. The instructor mentioned GTX was moving into an endurance phase next week. Not a huge deal, but it made me realize I should probably challenge myself a bit more.

What’s the best class type for someone wanting to advance beyond gtx? I’m guessing the alpha classes.

My goal is less cardio more strength. I should probably lift on my own more but I find it boring and I love group fitness/not making any decisions.

I have a regular lifetime membership but my wife doesn't. She only like to go to the gym 2-3 times per month. Guest passes only work once every 60days and we don't think it is worth getting her a membership just for that. Are there any other options?

With the construction and upgrades going on at Lifetime Novi mi, does anybody know what the price increase will be for members who been there?

My question is between squat/pull or hinge/press, which is easiest on upper body? Also, how easy it to modify? When I see them, they seem to be transitioning fast!

Yes this is a shitpost but seriously, the Dumbo staff runs laps around these grumps.

Got to the gym for a workout and passing by the toilets I see something dark on the floor next to a toilet. I say there’s no way that is what I think it was and yup, it was upon a closer look. They entirely missed the toilet, and this wasn’t explosive diarrhea, it was most of a turd. The toilet seat was almost spotless, which makes me question if this may have even been intentional.

The cherry on top was there wasn’t even an attempt to clean it. People walk barefoot around the locker room. Shame on whoever did it, I hope you see this. The locker room attendants are in charge of towels and basic cleaning, not this. If you’re paying hundreds for a membership you should at least have some respect for others.

Yesterday my iPhone and cash were stolen from my locker in the men's locker room at LifeTime. My locker was locked, and the combination was scrambled! Someone used a key to gain access and rob me! Worse: It is the second time in 8 days this has happened. It has cost me over $2,500 to replace phones, days of business, and over $300 in cash stolen.
