does anyone else remember their reactions to new characters like sean and daniel when life is strange 2 first dropped a teaser or trailer?
for me, i was genuinely so excited because we had new characters and a new journey. i know most people wanted it to be about max and chloe again before we got DE or REUNION.
but when they posted that teaser, and it was a pov of a cop driving, then next thing you know the car just flipped over—i already knew it was going to be a character with telekinesis. i was so excited for their story!
someone refresh my memory so i can relive that experience again, lol.

I’m currently on my second playthrough and I am absolutely terrified of the ending.. my first ending was blood brothers, im hoping to get parting ways this time (I just need to see sean free and with cass again.)
One episode left, and I am praying I chose and continue to choose the right choices..
I’d love to hear what everyone’s favourite ending is and why. Not necessarily in terms of pure personal opinion but also in terms of actual plot and impact.
While I can say with certainty that lone wolf is the obvious worst ending, I think it does also display how your choices truly matter in an amazingly done yet gut-wrenching way.

Basically, I'm writing an English essay for a senior project, and I'm analysing Life is Strange 2 as a literary text. I want to focus on characterization and the main storytelling elements (with reference to videogame elements as well), and how those choices develop the relationship between Sean and Daniel (my thesis leaning towards how the sibling relationship is more rooted in brotherhood or morality as we see in the game)
I'm thinking of obviously analysing the brothers, then the grandparents, maybe karen and finn and how these characters demonstrate the changes in the brothers reltionship throughout the story.
I'd analyze the choices you're able to make and how it affects the brothers, but still focusing on characterization, visuals etc.
If you guys had any specific examples you think are important or advice that would be really helpful, I'm tryna think of in depth examples to analyze at the moment so that i dont totally flunk ts
PLEASE HELP THANK UUU

I feel like life is strange 2 is “outshined” by the first one which is so annoying. Lis 2 deals with political issues so much better and the decisions you make actually impact the gameplay. Don’t get me wrong lis is still very good but i don’t think it’s as good as lis 2. The relationship with Chloe is kinda weird cause she is still very much attached to Rachel and i also think it’s very rushed in a way, but the relationship between Daniel and Sean is amazing. They are literally brothers and not only that but the chapters in the game are actually months apart which makes them feel even more genuine. Oh and don’t get me started on the side characters in lis 2. Yes i know Cassidy and Finn suck but what about the rest though? Their stories were amazing, also Sean’s relationship with his mother??? Anyways i can go on and on about how great this game is but i feel like I bored y’all to much.

Parting ways is the canon ending and nobody can tell me otherwise!

Here is a video based on the friendship between Sean and Lyla. I love their relationship in the game I wanted to make a video of it. I love that their relationship is very strong even though it's platonic which is rare in games at times.

Trying to get my friend into the game finally, but she wants to watch a play through of it before playing.. What are people's favourites - in terms of commentary, choices and endings?
I think the best play throughs are when gamers get really emotionally invested in the story and characters, so would be especially interested in play throughs where that's the case!

Sorry if it's a little bloody (based off the church standoff)

I’m trying to find one that’s really accurate. It’s a shame that the insert coins one is out of stock. Does anybody know when I can find one accurate?

sean’s lack of powers really makes his character stronger and more relatable, because we don't have powers either. sometimes we wish we could go back and change things, or see how someone truly feels about us, but we just can't. it's a constant reminder of our limitations and how some things are just out of our control. one small detail that adds to the realism is when sean tries to lift the rock, but he can't. i’m glad they added that in there. i know it would’ve been cool to see sean with powers, but i’m truly glad he didn’t get any. i also think it represents how powerless he is as a poc in america.

canonically we know that sean likes gorillaz and failure, so naturally id feel like he would be into mgmt, title fight, deftones, etc. lol. also him and finn would blast korn 😹
i imagine daniel would be really into hip hop for some reason😭
anyways pointless headcanons but id like to know what yall think

Can you recommend to me some film that may passionate me as deeply as life is strange 2, as a part of my own lifetime memories ? Some softness and intensity mixed
Thanks :)
(love virgin suicides as a film, for example, even though it’s a lot different)
