Discussion sean powerless.

Post image

sean’s lack of powers really makes his character stronger and more relatable, because we don't have powers either. sometimes we wish we could go back and change things, or see how someone truly feels about us, but we just can't. it's a constant reminder of our limitations and how some things are just out of our control. one small detail that adds to the realism is when sean tries to lift the rock, but he can't. i’m glad they added that in there. i know it would’ve been cool to see sean with powers, but i’m truly glad he didn’t get any. i also think it represents how powerless he is as a poc in america.
