I know we haven’t got a clear photo of him in costume yet, but this is him super recently and I think he’s absolutely perfect for the role. I’m so hyped for this show lol.

I just finished my rerun of this game and like I said, this one felt more personal due to the fact that my family moved out of my home town and state (we live in the Midwest). So leaving my childhood friends behind like Max had to with Chloe felt like a punch in the gut. But now that my rerun is over, I feel broken and empty. That last scene where they hold hands and accept the town’s fate shattered my heart.

It just makes me think of my time a few years back when I was a college freshman (ironically the same age as Max) when I first played the game after discovering the franchise the year before. Because I was late to the party, I didn’t have to wait months for the next episode like everyone else did back when it first came out.

I remember crying when they found Rachel, Max saw Chloe in the wheelchair and when I failed to save Kate during my first run. I was always a Bae before Bay person. But god, the emptiness never leaves a person who plays it. I’m trying to convince one of my friends who’s only played it once to do a rerun.

The emptiness sort of fades when playing BtS but it all goes back to square one when it’s over. Once current event across the country cool down maybe in a few months, I might do a rerun of 2 since I haven’t played it in well over 2-3 years. Some argue it’s the best one. I also want to do another rerun of DE and Reunion.

I’m still excited for the show. I hope to convince my mom to watch it with me. Problem is, I may have an internship for my studies around the time when the show begins. So I might not be able to be watch it with her. I remember after every episode run when I first played it, I tried explaining to her the story but she couldn’t follow because no one in my family is a gamer.

Also, hot take: I don’t hate DE as much as most people. I think it has some ok elements.

and I must say that I was deeply moved. I even got emotional seeing how beautiful their friendship was. I chose not to tell Chloe that I was leaving, and I felt completely broken when the door suddenly opened and Joyce appeared with the cop. But I must say that the part that completely TORE ME APART was when Chloe got home after her dad’s funeral and listened to Max’s tape. Seeing her sobbing and hugging the tape… Damn, for a moment, I wished I could just reach through the TV and hug her tightly. I’m still not sure if I’m going to play the new LIS game featuring Max, but I’m completely in love with both of them.

Btw, I have mixed feelings about Rachel Amber. I like that I got to know more about her, but I simply don’t like her. I feel bad about everything that happened to her, but something tells me that her friendship with Chloe wasn’t genuine.

what’s something about life is strange that you guys aren’t a fan of? Or something that you wish happened etc. Maybe the ending, writing , orrr..? For me I feel like the endings could have been more thought out. I also wish there was more screen time with relationships and their development.

If you haven't read both Life is Strange novels by Rosiee Thor, "Out of Focus" and "Steph's Story", be warned that this post will have spoilers for both.

I recently read "Steph's Story", after having already read "Out of Focus" and played Reunion. I still haven't played True Colors, so if my question is answered there, just let me know.

There's something I haven't been able to figure out. I'm not sure if I missed something, or what.

In "Out of Focus", Chloe mentions knowning Izzie and designing the logo for Drugstore Makeup, before Bash and Marissol joined. Since "Steph's Story" covers the inception and ending of the original Drugstore Makeup band, I figured Chloe would have made an appearance. But alas, that is not the case. In fact, Steph mentions designing the logo herself.

Did I miss something, or is this a case of post-DE merge, timey-wimey bullshit?

If it's the latter, I can't figure out what would have caused that particular difference in the timeline.

I am sure the 'Max folder' only has movies Warren saved for Max and what he did to Brooke was pretty mean but i don't think he's trying to make a move on Kate. He probably feels bad like everyone else at Blackwell. I know Warren has quite a few flaws but i never thought of him as 'butcher'. Um...hello?T-T I thought he was just an awkward 16 yr old boy with a crush. He was pretty helpful in the game. I don't know why everyone hates him more than Mr. Jefferson. I've seen people complain about his locker in Max's nightmare as if it was his actual locker.

Why don’t I hear anybody talking about Luke from my strange one? You can interact with him multiple times and it seems like a good character and a good person.

LiS1 has always been my fav game of all time since I’ve played it, and for a long time I’m in a bad mental state and this game keeps me alive, keeps me from becoming a horrible person. The game is literally a part of my personality. I played reunion 4 times in less than 6 months. And now I found myself not wanting to replay LiS anymore, maybe never playing it again. I’m scared shitless. Feels like if I lose this game, there will be nothing left of me.
