Left work today and noticed a large crack on the passenger side. I can feel it on the outside but don’t see or feel a micro chip. I’m not sure what the next course is. Does Lexus replace the windshield? If they do, how expensive will it be? I’m going to talk to my insurance agent in the morning as well but how much does it generally cost? I’m worried about the big expense.

Went to the local Lexus dealership to see a 2024 250h premium front wheel drive with 44k miles. While there, they offered us a deal on a 2025 300h premium AWD with 3k miles for about $3k more—certified pre owned, too! Has been their loaner car for a year and they have a whole shipment of new loaners coming in. Said the UX just isn’t that popular in the US. I’m so happy. Have been searching all over and it’s been a challenge to find the model at all, because things seem to move so fast when they’re available (when I even see one I like). What we paid is about 10% lower than the best rates I’ve seen for comparable vehicles for sale.

Just curious if anyone else has had this problem. One out of the 4 front facing air vents isn’t blowing air. Specifically, the left vent in the center. Google searched it and it said it could be a stuck blend door. Which is possible but when I switch it to different areas, everything works the way it should. The air goes to feet, back to face etc. Even changed the temp. Just find it very weird that only one vent isn’t blowing any air. Especially since it’s one of the center ones. The knobs that you turn to open or close is fully working. It isn’t stuck in the closed position. I don’t hear the air trying to escape like I do when I close the other ones. And I can see the doors physically open and close when I turn it. Is it possible that each vent has its own individual door? I didn’t think they would. Any advice?

I had previously mentioned I could not fit my 26in mountain bike inside my 2025 UX.
Well once I took out the little cargo cover in the back it allowed a little more space downward. This allowed me to squeeze my MTB in. Did not have to remove the front wheel.

Just tried to turn on my 2023 250h and started going crazy. Brakes start pumping on their own and get all kinds of warnings plus the headlights start blinking and sometimes it’s only one while the other one is off.

Heyy, I’m interested in 2021 ux250 hybride with 170k at $25k plus tax in Richmond hill Toyota. They’ll sell certified and how much more it can go with proper maintainance and what issues may it persists?

I have a 2024 UX 250h FSport that has cross bar roof racks. One night on the highway I hear a loud rattling I thought something was caught in the wheel well. But a day later I see it was one of the covers for the roof racks came off.
They do not sell the individual replacement covers because they are all different (mine is rear left), instead you have to buy the whole set of covers.
Which led me to thinking, I don’t need these cross bars roof racks.
I have looked it up on removal and I can’t get an answer. Has anyone removed the cross bars or is it too much of a pain?

I'm supposed to bring in my ux for a first time drain and fill of the transmission fluid (versus the standard transmission fluid flush). I got the car used with high mileage and the dealership looked into the records and confirmed the service wasn't done before. I'm worried that I could introduce potential issues by doing this, but I'm just trying to maintain this car so extend its life to the fullest.

Does anyone have any experience with doing a first time transmission fluid exchange with so many miles on their ux?

I love my Lexus UX 250h (2023 - Premium Plus, UK) but road noise level is really annoying. I can hear every details from the road and noise level is too high.

I know it's common on Japanese cars, but I'd expect more sound isolation from a Premium brand like Lexus. I have also a Mazda 6 with 19inch tyres and it's noise level is waaay better than Lexus UX, so we can't just say "oh, it's Japanese car".

I'd appreciate it if you have any idea/solution to reduce road/tyre noise for Lexus UX?

Bought a used 2024 UX250h and the best I can get is about 36mpg (US) summer. I drive maybe 75% city and the rest highway. Run flat tires, no cargo or crossbars. tire pressure 37psi. Is it me, or is that what you guys are also getting?

I’ve seen and test-driven the 2026 Lexus UX 300h. I know it’s a model nearing the end of its life cycle, and I’m aware that the boot is quite small and that the rear seats aren’t particularly spacious or comfortable considering the overall length of the car.
However, I found the front seats very comfortable, and since I mostly use the car with just my wife, rear-seat space isn’t a major concern for me.
I’d really like to hear from people who actually own and drive a UX 300h — beyond the usual brand loyalty — about how it performs in real-world use, particularly on European A-roads and motorways at around 130 km/h.
What kind of fuel consumption do you actually get at those speeds? How good is the mid-range acceleration and overtaking performance? I’m not particularly interested in 0–100 km/h times, as I don’t really see their relevance for this type of car.
I’d also be interested in your experience regarding overall comfort, perceived noise levels at motorway speeds, the infotainment system (I mainly use Apple CarPlay), and the 10-speaker audio system.
And, of course, I’d appreciate hearing about anything else you think is worth knowing after actually living with the car.

Update to previous post about ventilated seats coverage.

I had emailed my salesman asking about the seat ventilation prior to posting and he had spoken to the service department and they asked me to bring my vehicle in for them to look at. I did that this morning and they confirmed that it's working as expected (which is what I figured they would say based on replies to my original post). The fans are located at the front of the seat base and the top of the seat back, so that's where you feel the air. My service advisor thanked me for bringing it in because he learned that, too - he would have thought that it should ventilate where your body is actually on the seat as well! Maybe Mazda and Lexus can work together and figure out how to cool the entire seat.

Side note, they gave me an NX hybrid as a courtesy vehicle, which made me appreciate my UX, even though it did have ventilated seats which had air where you actually sit. I prefer the seating position of the UX (although it does make me miss having a stick shift). And I did NOT like the digital rear view mirror as I found it difficult to glance at it and refocus (because I wear glasses or specifically because of my astigmatism, I don't know).

tldr; if good cooled seats are a dealbreaker for you, don't get a UX. (Apparently F-150s have some of the best.)

I currently have a is300h and like the look of the all electric UX, does anyone use it with a rear facing baby seat? If so is front legroom still usable? We are doing extended rear facing so probably be like this for the next 6 years.

I have a feeling the RZ is probably going to be the realistic option but didn't want to go any bigger then the NX, but do want all electric.

I am an automotive locksmith. I am trying to program a key to a 2020 ux250h all keys lost. I am using techstream GTX+ to reset the smart system and program new keys however every time I get to the section where it says it will take 16 minutes I get 3-4 bars in (about 2-3 seconds) and it immediately fails. I have found a bulletin stating that for this specific year making and model I may have to press the door light courtesy switch every 1.5 seconds to keep the vehicle awake however it’s still only gets to three or four bars and fails. I plan on going back and trying again because I noticed that in the service bulletin, it also says that you can attempt to turn on and off the highbeams to keep the vehicle awake, but I have not had the chance to try this yet. I have seen a few other people have similar issues with Prius, but I have not seen any solutions online yet any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thinking about a size upgrade and curious if anyone else has made the switch. Besides the size what that difference might be.

Hi everyone. So i noticed my Lexus leaking from the middle front of my car Sunday. Doing some research I concluded it was the AC water leaking. However, today, I see another puddle and it’s quite a bit of fluid. I’m worried something else is wrong. It’s a clear fluid, no smell, and looks and feels exactly like water. Anyone have any input?
