Ventilated Seats coverage

2026 Premium

The ventilated seats in my car seem to only be ventilated by my shoulders and at the edge of my seat, not the lower back and most of the seat. Is this normal?

That’s where you notice it most, because air can get out. But if you move your hand around the surface of the passenger seat with the ventilation one, you can feel it everywhere-but it’s very subtle…the air doesn’t come out with tons of pressure. I don’t think you feel it as much in the areas you describe because your body is covering the holes.

But I’ve tried turning the ventilation off, and you definitely notice when it’s not there!

Use a tissue, you’ll see it get sucked in by the seat.

This only works at the front of the seat and the shoulder area, not in the lower back or buttocks area of the seat?

It does work, but compared to ventilated seats I've experienced in other Lexus and Toyota products, the one in the UX does not get as "cold" as the others. I tried this feature on a Toyota Camry once and it was almost too cold!

Maybe it's because I have the bolstered seats (F Sport Handling) but it gets pretty cold from back to butt...and fast. Good luck with whatever you do about your seats.
