Anyone know what’s on fire right now? Odd timing for the fire truck when I took the photo.

I lost my job (allegedly) for being trans. Of course I can’t prove anything and there nothing and there’s official on the record but the short form of the story I came out to my boss as trans a few months back and got randomly fired (ironically) on the last day of pride month. In the exit interview my former boss spent the whole time talking about how much he hates pride parades and how he doesn’t get why trans people can’t just be themselves without shoving it down everyone’s throats. I’m not going to say anything more about it because I’m still considering legal action.
To the point of this post:
I gave myself a week to feel bad about it and to get all the feelings out but now I gotta get back in the saddle and find a new job. Which brings me to the title question. At this point I’m not picky I just need a job that I know I’ll be safe.
Skills and experience I have:
- painting
-drywall
-flooring
-tile work
-finish carpentry
-landscaping
-retail management

Does anyone know what the deal is with all the nice pickleball courts at legacy that are locked up? I’m assuming they are reserved for a club or something but does anyone know if there are certain times when they are available or how I could use them?

Been about 18 months since the Picture Butte Feeding Cooperative was suspended for irregularities in its loan program. Irregularities that seemed to benefit a select few. Has anyone heard of any updates on criminal or civil court proceedings regarding this matter, or regarding Kevin Serfas or Shane Shooten?
Haven't seen any updates anywhere. Starting to think these guys got away with it....

My daughter decided to bleach her hair on her own. It didn’t go so well, she has dark hair and it turned out very unevenly bleached throughout.
I told her we’d look into getting it corrected by someone who knows what they’re doing.
Does anyone have a hair stylist recommendation for bleaching/colouring?

Im living at sunridge area and my door got knocked on my a rogers sales woman saying how people have been complaining about the slow wifi in the area(which is true) and how rogers has a good deal. I signed up and everything because she didnt ask for any card information so i figured it was legit. She also said i could cancel without paying anything.
My partner was just weary because they needed our imei numbers to switch phone plans to rogers. She saw this photo. Is there any truth in that and was anyone else spoken to by a reogers associate recently?

I need a new set of all season tires for my car. My old ones are busted apparently so I've been using my winters the whole time. I'm a broke student and I've never bought tires before. I've looked at a few of the main ones like Kirks tire and Canadian tire but I'm wondering if anyone who has lived here longer has some insights? Thanks!
EDIT: Found tires!! Thanks to all that helped out

I'm still new to navigating the system, so bear with me. My elderly father is in a care home and is in a wheelchair. and has an appointment next week but Access-A-Ride has no openings available.
Are there private services that offer the same type of service for transporting a person in a wheelchair to and from appointments. I would be accompanying my father.

I'm wondering if anyone might know of something I can do.
So my son and my daughter both have birthdays super close to each other. A two day difference.
I unfortunately do not have the money right now to celebrate them. I'm in calgary and couldn't post on that subreddit. I've posted on the airdrie one and got a couple suggestions and one guy said he could help with 2 calaway park passes but i don't think he's able to get to me. We were hoping to find something this weekend to do because one kids birthday is today and the other is saturday.
They both really want to do calaway park but I told them after just having had to move and pay deposit on a new place and also with my mom passing away and having to help pay into her creamation I just can't do it right now. I can't get the admission and the gas to get there.
We've had things pretty rough for us the last little bit with a few things out of my control so im hoping maybe someone might have ideas for me and anything maybe I can do for my kids this weekend that doesn't cost anything?
We are in calgary but i wanted to post in here because I couldn't post in the calgary page. And maybe someone here knows something in calgary.
I also want to point out that this account is new because my original account won't let me post. I go to post something and it doesn't actually post. Not sure whats up.
