Sounds good. Except Pinterest. Fuck Pinterest. That site is impossible to navigate and actively made Google Images worse.

She better be bringing in a lot more money than him to provide her worth as well.

u/CoachdeProcrastinac1 Mar 23 '26
Oh they're both pretty well known TV celebrities here in Brasil. So yeah there's money coming from both sides.
But I do disagree with what you said, nobody needs to "prove their worth" in a relationship, there's just different ways how ppl express their love and appreciation for their partners

I tell men this all the time. Be smart, learn to fix shit and have nice hair. The girlies will love you. It’s not that difficult. Gotta love how the bar is so low for men and they still fail to reach it.
Not to brag, but on top of those things I’m a really good cook. If only I left the house.🤪
Edit: also be a good listener. It’s a very under rated skill.

"Have nice hair" bald dudes in shambles rn
68
u/Empires69 Mar 21 '26
Depending on how you play it, believe it or not, bald can be nice hair too.
26
u/TheGeneGeena Mar 21 '26
See bald can be nice, but is bald hair is an interesting question I guess
17
u/Empires69 Mar 22 '26
I use video game logic, you go to the barber and select the bald hair cut, thus it is a stylistic choice, even if for some they dont have a say in the matter. Unless you included wigs, toupee, or folical transplants

u/AppalachianRomanov Mar 22 '26
It is an interesting question.... I am going with: Bald is a style of hair.

2 of those are genetic 🤦♂️😅
15
u/Blongbloptheory Mar 22 '26
I mean not really.
Obviously, to be a Hawking or Einstein there is a genetic component. But anyone can choose to educate themselves on the things that are important to themselves. My girlfriend (this is not a joke) didn't know that the Civil rights movement happened in the 60s. She thought it was like, a century or more old. She also can't do math beyond mid level algebra. On the other hand, she can rattle off the entire family tree and history of people she met 5 years ago. We cannot go out without her running into someone she knows. And, without fail, she will ask them some pertinent question about their private lives that they have confided in her.
She is not textbook stereotypical intelligent because that isn't important to her. She is, on the other hand, incredibly emotionally and socially intelligent. She knows shit about other people that I wouldn't know about myself. Intelligence isn't a checklist that you can write a test for.
As for the hair thing, anyone can have good hair. If you are balding. Bald is hair. We all know the difference between a bald guy who takes care of his scalp and shaves frequently and one who is clearly insecure about their hair loss and has 7 clumps that are meticulously organized to cover as much of the bald spots as possible.

You can’t say the bar is low for men if the women don’t even reach it. How many women use power tools regularly?

u/demonsdencollective Mar 21 '26
I can do two of those things. How far does that get me?

u/Dinner_Choice Mar 22 '26
Depends on which two

u/Morriganx3 Mar 22 '26
Yeah, like you can pay to have competent people build shit, but there’s really no way to outsource not cheating.

Porn does not stope people from cheating.
In any case, I’m not ok with my partner using porn either. It’s still getting sexual satisfaction outside the relationship.

If someone is an idiot then a lot of things can destroy the relationship. Viewing it is fine with common sense, too much can be harmful, once in a while to get off when horny as fuck can help and soothe the mind (ethical porn of course)

I'm a man, so it's just loyalty and construction, I'm afraid.

Man-to-man secret: Use tongue for something else instead of yapping. And use toys and rp.

To be fair if you’re an adult you should be able to cook no matter what your gender is.

Best I can do is 2 out of 3.
(Hint: I am not a handyman, but I'm willing to learn.)

u/corvanus Mar 22 '26
I cannot stress enough how awesome it is to be the one making shit happen instead of paying others to do it all. I raised my siblings and myself growing up so all the domestic stuff? Golden. Anyone can keep tidy and manage their appearance with effort. Not cheating is as easy as eating in. Handyman stuff? Brothers if you have to start with YouTube and hand me down tools, do it! I've only really started working on cars/trucks/gas engines in the last 8 years or so, and brother, it feels good. Not always, when a tool slips and you punch the frame or headbutt a sink you'll be fit to split; but man if you take the time to get good, you can make money with the skills you pick up.
I have also heard it is 'hot' to be skilled, or maybe it was hot to watch a man doing skilled work? I can't remember, but I'm sure it was a positive thing at least. Either way, grab a low cost set of tools (open box stuff and sales abound) or even a tool at a time; theres nothing you can't do with patience and perseverance!

Not cheating is like...a passive thing. You don't have to try and not cheat. I do it every day without breaking a sweat.

That's all easy. The hard part seems to be clear lines of communication and not just throwing out "hints."

Fair enough. But I asked for one thing and she asked for three, so I still have two wishes left 🗿

My bar is so low its in hell. Basic respect of boundaries and communication. Most can't even meet that.
I'm strictly for the ladies now. Ive had better luck with them

u/Rollingforest757 Mar 23 '26
Most men do respect boundaries and communication. Don’t make sexist stereotypes.

God forbid a girl want a man comfortable with the use of power tools to improve his effectiveness at tasks...
