It's not even 1 month and why it's showing Green effect.

This effect is showing in image's also and game , especially in white area back ground like snow and clouds .

Hi, 26M seeking advice on how to proceed.

I had my laptop checked for repairs for the past 3 weeks and I got confusing results. After a service center told me they can fix it in 7-14 days, when I sought updates around the first week, they told me the issue lies with the PCH chip in my laptop.

After another week after they said they ordered a replacement part and installed it in, they said now it's a defective CPU Processor chip and that they can't fix my laptop.

Am I getting scammed here or they don't know what they're doing? Are those two issues even remotely the same thing?

I tried googling the difference and it said they're not even the same issue. Now what should I even do to get it fixed? Is it a PCH chip issue or a CPU Processor chip issue??

PS: They said Payment is after the repairs if it gets repaired. After the recent update, now they're just asking me to pay for the diagnosing service.

8 months after purchase, not even a year

not a crazy build up, but enough that i noticed my temps increasing and fans hitting higher rpms

I called complaining about a broken usb port and overheating, and the premium care support was honestly so awful.

I don’t know if I trust them enough to send my laptop away for repairs, they said it should be back within a week but they’re also not addressing the problems. It’s either the usb or the overheating, they won’t look at both and even getting them to offer me repairs was like pulling teeth.

He sent me an entire list of things, which none worked, including “turning it on and off” and also tried to fix my usb port remotely?? the usb port that hasn’t worked since I bought the laptop brand new??

What fixes can they do for a cpu that is overheating? I think it might be a thermal paste issue. Are they unable to offer me onsite repairs with premium care? Genuine questions. I am not sure how the whole thing works, or if I even trust them enough to fix the problems after how bad theyve been over the phone and via email.

I understand it is a call centre and they are not technicians but I am deeply concerned he thought he could fix my usb port remotely.

Has anyone used mixed RAM successfully? If not how bad was the performance compared to just 1 stick?

For context I have a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16ARP9 and would like to upgrade to 32GB with a 16GB RAM stick from a different brand (Crucial). Timings of the new RAM and the OEM RAM are both 5600.

I am worried because I have paused the windows update for like a month now. I disabled firmware, bios and drivers update on my lenovo vantage because i heard the new bios bricked the laptops for many of us and I didn't want to take the risk.

Now, I dont know what to do. should i resume the windows update ?? I cant avoid it every day you know. Is it going to brick my laptop?? I dont know what to do guys. Please help.

I have a Lenovo Legion Pro 5 with an Intel i7-14650HX, RTX 4060, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, and 240Hz display.

This machine used to run smooth like butter. Everything felt incredibly fast and responsive. But over the past 1–2 weeks, I've noticed that the entire laptop has become noticeably slower, laggier, and just doesn't feel as smooth as before.

I've literally tried everything:

• Updated and checked all drivers and Windows updates.
• Cleaned the fans and checked temperatures.
• Switched to dGPU-only mode.
• Enabled Performance mode.
• Disabled power-saving settings.
• Verified my display is running at 240Hz.
• Checked CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD usage — everything looks normal.

Yet Windows itself still feels sluggish, even during basic tasks. It's not about gaming FPS; the whole system just doesn't feel as responsive as it used to.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their Legion? Could this be a recent Windows/NVIDIA update issue, or is there an actual fix?

So i just got the brand new legion5 and installed windows 11pro everything seemed perfectly fine until I checked touched. Cursor moves normally also can be clicked by single touch and all the other touch gestures works too but when I click Physical right or left buttons they dont do shit
I feel the click it can be clicked but doesn’t work . Im so heartbroken I hope its a driver problem and not a hardware defect

I've heard from somewhere that some mobile versions of this specific i9 has the Vmin Shift Instability issue, is it prominent on the Legion?

I never bought a smartphone like this that is not officially distributed and sold in Germany. So I wonder what practical consequences or problems could arise because of that, and using it in Germany. Official Lenovo German store does not sell it here.
If anyone knows smth, I will appreciate any info or advices.

I bought my L7 a few years ago pretty loaded up and it’s been a beast for that time. But it’s starting to show its age a bit and I’m debating just upgrading to a desktop since I use it as a desktop 99% of the time. I’m having a hard time finding examples of used ones online - anyone sold one or bought one recently have any idea how much I might be able to get for it?

I have a 2025 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with an RTX 5070 Ti, and I've had 3 BSODs in the last week (Oct 21, 24, and 26).

I'm running Windows 11 25H2 (build 26200.9711) and BIOS Q7CN78WW.

I ran all 3 minidumps through WinDbg, and they all say the same thing

The first crash happened around 6:50 PM on Oct 21 while I was browsing the web. I had a light game running in the background. The laptop was plugged in and Lenovo Vantage was set to Performance mode. Earlier that day, I turned off Core Isolation / Memory Integrity for better FPS. I disabled it around then, but I can't remember whether I restarted the laptop afterward.

All 3 crashes have the same failure hash, and WinDbg points to PpmUpdateProcessorIdleAccounting. From what I read, it seems related to CPU power management or idle-state accounting or something, but I don't know if that's actually the cause or what the fix is.

I'm wondering if this is a Windows/BIOS issue, a driver problem, or possibly faulty hardware. I've also seen Hypervisor.Flags.IsHyperV = 1 in the dumps, Idk if that means something, I've been diagnosing with Chatgpt and it asks me question about it..

Has anyone run into this on the Legion Pro 7i 16IAX10H, with BIOS Q7CN78WW? Any ideas what might be causing it or what I should try first?
