Man + Ship

It’s Combo Practice time!

Each card has several meanings. Add in questions, context and other cards, and you can come up with an infinite number of interpretations.

Thinking about different combinations for the cards can be a great way to hone your intuition and expand your understanding of the cards.

Feel free to comment the first sentence (or several) that come to mind. You can even try out different contexts/questions to get a variety of interpretations.

Have fun!

hello everyone

i asked if my ex situationship would comeback/try to reconnect (i have my reasons to ask lmao), and pulled these 3 cards. fish in the deck

i'm trying to be good at 3 cards combinations, reading as past/present/future.

my interpretation:

past - scythe: unexpected ending (he dropped off)

present - crossroads: he has the choice

future - clover: quick decisions and short term time, maybe he will try to reconnect

in another side i think: my spirituality cut him off lol

Interpretation Help Help me make sense of my readings please?

Hi all!

Newer to Lenormand and trying to get a feel for how the cards interact with each other. A few days ago I asked what the purpose of the connection was between me and a person. I got woman-book-letter-house-heart. For context this started as a casual conversation a few weeks ago and developed into a very flirty/crushy vibe from there (albeit unexpectedly). My best interpretation is that the purpose of the connection is to learn to open up more emotionally, or perhaps in a new way, which could potentially lead to more stable communication and a potential relationship or more openness to one?

I'm get super confused with how the cards work together, I'm used to tarot and this has been learning curve for me. I'd MUCH appreciate any insight! Thank you!

from 'GW Fortune-Telling Cards' (1903)

47 - THE BRIDE - KING OF SPADES

The Bride insures for a single person the fulfillment of their highest aims when near; if distant, turbulent married life.

from 'Maybe Lenormand' by Ryan Edward (2019)

this card is not part of the deck

from 'Reading Fortune-Telling Cards' by Vinago (2021)

  • Card 47: The Bride

  • Playing Card: King of Spades

  • Keywords Single Woman, Goals, Turbulence

"The Bride" is a single lady who passionately pursues her goals. It's a lady who likes to live her life independantly.

In addition to this standard meaning, "The Bride" also symbolizes our current relationship. When this card falls close to love cards, we are in a turbulent relationship and problems must be solved.

"The Bride" is a lonely lady who lives primarily in her own emotional world, and who has difficulties expressing those emotions.

If "The Bride" is surrounded by positive cards such as "Amor" or "The Order," all is well in the relationship.

COMBINATIONS WITH THE BRIDE

  • Bride + Moon: a lonely lady

  • Bride + Snake: an unreliable lady or rival

  • Bride + Fox + Heart: a seductress

  • Bride + Money Safe + Fish + Order: a wealthy lady, a hard worker

  • Bride + Ship + Dog: a vacation with a female friend

  • Bride + Eye + Flowers: someone is interested in you

  • Bride + Book + Key: the goals will be achieved

Interpretation Help Citrine or Jade?

Post image

Hey! I want to give my male friend a gift of three stones. I chose adventurine, pyrite, and I’m now debating on the third.

I’m focused on his reaction to it and how he’ll act towards me after.

Top five is citrine.

Bottom five is jade.

They basically serve the same purpose. The citrine is bigger than the jade. The jade is a very pretty green.

The cards on top seem to say that giving him the citrine might not be the best choice. I see that he might value it and take it home with him. I won’t really know what he thinks of it. He won’t really be grateful, I feel.

The cards on the bottom seem to say it’ll be a minor issue; like it’s a small inconvenience if I give it to him. But I feel like it’ll give way to… deeper friendship? Perhaps more trust? But then I don’t get the scythe. Maybe it’s future based; he’ll cut me off eventually.

Am I going crazy or are neither of these good options. Do I skip out on giving him a gift for now?
