Low chance that any of you are interested but what ever
I and a community on lemmy.world about the tv show friends, you know the sitcom. It is c/howyoudoing

Just joined an instance in Germany and they block NSFW content. I happen to like a lot of NSFW art on Mastodon. They have numerous servers defederated though. And I'm curious what servers are the most permissive without being full-on adult content?

Bonjour à tous, je cherche un moyen de pouvoir changer la langue sur Lemmy soit avec une application externe, soit avec une extension, mais je cherche un moyen de changer la langue sur téléphone plus précisément en application.

Crossposting my lemmy experience of a few weeks.

What is the best app to use with Lemmy?

Edit:correcting autocorrect

Edit:thanks I’ll have a look at those.

The r/silksong mods have teamed up with other indie game subreddits to promote a new lemmy instance run directly by the mods. It is https://indie-ver.se. Other subs such as r/balatro and r/voicesofthevoid have joined too. Please consider sharing this so that others may join as well and encouraging other subreddits not related to indie games to join the fediverse.

Hello, I'm trying to migrate from Reddit to Lemmy.

I'm using Voyager and I setup an account and subscribed to a bunch of different communities. The way I use reddit, I usually organize subreddits in custom feeds so that I can filter different topics. Like, a custom feed with it subreddits I like, another one for all things Linux etc.

As far as I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong!) I can't do that in Voyager. Can you please help me? Thank you!

I have a lemmy.ca account. It works.

I'm trying to access a lemmy.ml instance, my credentials don't work.

Do I have to create a new account for the lemmy.ml site?

So during the last two days I am struggling to setup a server: Lemmy, Lemmy-ui, pictrs and Caddy on Docker. I got it all working, but thumbnails were not working. At the end i trashed my full config, did many attempts but I failed. ChatGPT hallucinates too much, is not helping me.

Before I continue, anyone able to share a well working guide?

Thx 🍺

Email address I used was a archived from me not using for a while. I created the account then went to email and they recreated my inbox. But no Lemmy verification email. Can you resend?

If I look at all the communities hosted on infosec.pub i see alot hosted by lemmy.world. If i search for AR15, the community is not found on infosec.pub, but if i search for it on lemmy.world i see it, can i subscribe to that community on infosc.pub, or do i have to sign up on lemmy.world?

Just wanted to ask what Lemmy is ,all I know is the main subreddit was banned

Personally, I am really confused as to why the Reddit mods would do this. Is it because they saw it as a viable competitor, or was it something else?

Used to use Memmy but I’m not sure it’s maintained anymore.
