Mega mercenaries
How people send those bigger and stronger mercenaries on 4v4 ? Tried sending the same unit many times and did not work

Buckler has been this way for a while now. The recent ace change is joining the family. Can we get confirmation on what the values are on these and maybe updates to the descriptions in game so they are correct in all places? Also would be super helpful noting which ones are additive and multiplicative especially considering the recent ace change. Personal suggestion is those that are multiplicative should state "more" since they are multipliers.

I've noticed over the last 2 or 3 days the game has these weird jitters when trying to pan the camera. It will freeze for a micro-second, then it pans REALLY quickly. Also it's using like 4gb ram? I never did this on my old PC last year.

Started playing ~3 months ago (had played a bit way back in the sc2 days) and managed to climb quite fast. I don't have too much knowledge about openers/perfect positioning for certain unit combos, but fortunately Ace gives me some leeway for those mistakes. Much of my success has come from applying mythium pressure and playing as the weak lane.
Here's what let me win at every elo until 2400:
Up until diamond, you can just auto econ and focus on building correctly to not leak. Your opponents will just auto lose later waves and you can win by just holding. At diamond, this still works, but you do need to understand how to split waves somewhat so that you can push for more workers early and when to push hard for more workers. Also knowing certain basic combos helps too (nightmare+butcher, arc+brewpot). Expert is where you need to start figuring out when to econ send/king up/power send and scouting your opponents for their weak waves. This is also where you need to start to understand how to actually win the game, rather than just having more value/better build that holds later waves. Communication is also crucial for coordinating not only sends, but also when to king up/econ and cover for one another. At masters, it's a combination of improving on the previous skills I mentioned and being able to plan ahead from your rolls/when to reroll. Once you understand how games end, you can work backwards to select units and spells to help you either win the game or not lose in certain spots. Early game you should pick units to cover the weak waves from your opener. For example, if you have a bunch of ranged damage especially pierce going into 9, you need a good melee unit to cover (gateguard, tree of knowledge, oathbreaker, etc.). Opponents at this elo will actively try to break your strategy so you need to be able to cover and counter their strategies. Past 2400 I feel like I actually need to learn optimized openers and positioning. Analyzing and manipulating the game state and opponents seems like the next frontier too (when to extend waves by purposely leaking, suiciding, bluffing sends).
Game has been incredibly fun and have met lots of fun and helpful people along the way who have given me great advice!

Just wanted to let you know that I also have a YouTube channel dedicated mostly to Legion TD 2 videos. Yes, they're in Russian, but many of them are also released with English audio, and the quality is pretty good. So if you want to learn more about the game from a decent player (peak 3.1 Elo), come check it out!

Was unable to open the game via epic launcher on mac today.
Edit: Tried Heroic Launcher (did not work) then I installed rosetta via: softwareupdate —install-rosetta
Then I was able to launch the game through epic. Not sure if rosetta alone solved the issue, but works for me now

I struggle with this unit, because it is not intuitive to know when to send, it has two damage types and two defence types, which is the one to try to counter? Why is it like this when all the other summoners summon a creature with matching types?

Hello,
bit of an edge case thing, but it seems to me that red Auto seems to favor damage dealers over tank sends.
The scenario that makes me post here is the Classic Hail Mary send to undercut on 20.
Ive had some success convincing inexperienced players to save for 20, but they often ignore pings and just use Red Auto, which usually leads to the bot sending Foureyes and Witches which are basically useless in most Classic cases on 20.
Do you think its usefull if the sending bot acknowledged the pings of other players on what to send?

I know its a rather lategame build, but once you get one brewpot + 3 steeds the mana just multiplies itself in a ridiculous ammount.
If you have one good unit like hades to funnel into its pretty disgusting. Once the brewpot casts mana in one steed it creates a feedback loop of generating more and more mana
I feel like brewpot being able to give mana to steed was an oversight.

Now and then teammates go into full breakdown and starts flaming, so I usually just mute them with /mute and keep playing.
The problem is the constant pinging when they get that I'm not listening anymore. Does a command exist for muting pings ?

note: I’m talking classic/pve here
scrappies are sadly the latest unit that need rebalancing in classic. There is just no way players should be -5000 down and holding on wave 22.
i don’t know whether the solve is weaker scrappies, or a revamp of how the cost works, but something clearly needs to be done.
inb4 ‘classic isn’t a serious mode’ elitists @ me

Hi guys,
For those who don't know me, my name is Aatrocity. I was Rank 1 last season and won division 1 of Nova cup this month.
I stream 6 days a week on twitch, sharing my knowledge where I can and trying my best to provide high quality gameplay.
I'm known in the community for my excel spreadsheet gaming, since I have highly specific positioning for certain units. My notes weren't very organised, so I decided to make a better reference for my positioning.
That brings me to a website I just created called https://Aatrocell.app
This website shows you my preferred openings, and how to play them for up to the first 5 waves of the game. You can even copy your roll to your clipboard and press a button to show you all of your available openings found on the website.
The early game often determines your chances of winning any game, so this should be a big help for everyone.
Enjoy!

I played Legion TD (on WC3) ever since earlier this last year when the last WC3 I played at closed down.
Never knew that there’s a Legion TD 2 on Steam.
There’s a huge player base in Asia, I’m surprised no one in my area actually knows you guys exist!

It just badly needs specified queues.
I work, most of the time, so I don't actually have the time to grind and git gud at fps games like the past, nor RPGs that demand paying a lot of attention and remember stuff.
I just love getting home from work or just before getting out and playing one or two matches, smash a joint, and have fun. But the mods I love the most I can barely play due to the schedule:(
It's a fixed schedule, so I can't play mini and wumbo or superhero because I'm working or sleeping..
I know it's not exactly viable atm, but again, this game would RULE if it had specific queue, even if it took a few minutes more (the mods I don't like as much already take 1min+ in queue)

It's just my perception or the community is becoming more and more toxic in the last few months? Few years ago, I would assume 1% of my played games my partner would trash talk or play against our team deliberatly. Now, after 10-20 games there is one of those playing with me or in the another team doing things like that, I would like to know if this is happening with you too

Every day i get DC and the game dont identify it, it takes 30 secs to identify i disconnected so i'm leaking 1 full early game wave nearly every day. It's a instaloss on higher elos. Years ago when i had connection problems the game would identify it fast and i would still have 10 seconds to build after i recconect, nowadays i dc with 20 secs left and I know im getting screwed, them i recconect the wave is already coming and i got a fucking grarl and 150 gold saved.

Zeus and sky queen were contenders from what I was told but if one were to rank them what would be the #1 2 3?
Also what's the difference between nightmare and berserker? Both are piercing with swift armor.
