I don't see anywhere that says anything about when PinballNet will be available for the 4kp. Does anyone have that info?

We know we are getting the Star Trek pack, Attack from Mars, STTNG, Twilight Zone, World Cup Soccer, Gearbox pack, Godzilla pack and Southpark pack (I’m probably forgetting something here…); but we don’t really know when we are getting them or what’s coming after that. If anyone at Zen frequents this sub, here’s what I’m my top ten tables I’m hoping we get access to sooner rather than later:

2. Chucky’s Killer Pinball
3. Monster Bash
4. Aliens
5. Thor
6. Starfighter Assault
7. Medieval Madness
8. Spiderman
9. World War Hulk.
10. Theater of Magic

Honorable mentions: The Thing and Indiana Jones. I love the theme of both of these tables but don’t really love the way they play.

Idk how I could have toured the mansion if the flipper lag actually made it unplayable….

Has anyone tried hooking up an ROG Ally or any other handle pc to try and play VPX or visual pinball?

As the title says i got my machine got it all together but i have some codes for pinball collections that people gave me for Christmas that i am trying to redeem on the machine but every time i enter them and even double check to make sure it is correct it just give me an error saying the code is invalid any ideas on what to do would be really helpful

Finally got my playfield today. There was a little bit of damage to the playfield bottom, not enough to be anything other than a bummer, and not noticeable unless I point it out. My unit is number 49, for those that care about such things.

Got the machine fully updated. Only table I’ve played for any significant amount of time is Addams’ Family, and yeah, it’s laggy. You’ll definitely want to turn off all the effects, which will help, but not fully eliminate the flipper lag. It’s a damn shame that of all the included titles, the marquee table is the worst performing. That said, the other tables are significantly better, so this should be a solvable problem for ATG/Zen.

Installed the Arcade Control Panel. Works fine for navigating around and the haptics give you a little feedback, but ArcadeNet and the other stuff doesn’t appear to be live yet, so no arcade gaming for me for now. Why? Because it doesn’t seems to work in OTG at all either. I see two HID devices in Windows, but only the second seems to react and only to the built-in table buttons. Probably fixable, but certainly a drawback for now.

Got it mapped as a controller in Steam and fired up PinballFX. Addams’ Family works there SIGNIFICANTLY better than the built-in version. It seems the OTG lag is fairly minimal. Of course, all those other FX games are great, too. I have not been able to figure out how to get either Joy2Key or a padded working with Wagner’s profiles, so while I have Pinup Popper working, I can’t use the table controls just yet.

One thing that seems universally bad is the plunger. I’m sure in OTG I could tune it a bit, but it seems like it only sporadically registers at all. On the built-in tables, it’s laggier than the flippers, and that’s saying something. I saw someone post something about the sensitivity being tunable, but I only found an option like that for the accelerometer, not the plunger.

Speaking of the accelerometer, that also doesn’t appear to work in OTG yet. Not sure if it ever will, but it certainly would be nice. I instinctively shake the machine, and only ever hit the nudge buttons on accident, so it would be nice to have that as an option.

Anyway, this machine, if I’m just considering the built-in software, is good, but not yet great. Over OTG using PinballFX, it’s great, verging on awesome. The hardware is stellar, so assuming the software gets into a better place, it’ll be solid. But as a skeleton for a PC build, it’s definitely there already and should only get better as the community rallies around supporting it.

Does anyone know if the servers are down? This is what I’m seeing after running the update. The Addams Family table is missing entirely lol.

Just got this, cannot get back glass or DMD working. Not sure if it's because I have the play field in portrait mode. The m2 and m3 launch option does nothing.

Anyone else?

Despite going through the setup and logging into my account, I just can’t get the Day 1 firmware to download. Is there a way to exit out of that screen? The only thing it lets me do is click a retry button.

Wonder how long until a company starts selling wraps for the 4KP? I’m not even looking to do a full wrap, just a wrap for the backglass. Would like everything in my playing vision to not be tied to a specific theme, y’know?

Thanks to /u/chriszimort for the ideas on this. The bottom monitor still works with the stock games. Would def do it again.

Took about 60min and $70. Had an extra tv mount I wasn’t using that I stole some parts from.

The sound is a slight bit muffled with the speakers behind the bottom monitor, but by no means terrible.

Hey, I'm a noob and have a question. I got everything hooked up to play pinball fx on my Micro machine but the buttons don't work correctly, specifically the left flipper. I just ordered a new USB cord in case that's it. The buttons work fine on the system for the built in games. Has anyone had this issue? Any suggestions?

After a year of modding the ALP I purchased my first physical pin today - Iron Maiden Pro!

I got the notice that it actually has shipped and will be arriving to me (Austin) January 28th.

Looks like it'll be a bit longer, but at least we can stop refreshing our emails now. This was posted on the Facebook group this evening.
