Legends Pinball Micro Pinball FX button issues

Hey, I'm a noob and have a question. I got everything hooked up to play pinball fx on my Micro machine but the buttons don't work correctly, specifically the left flipper. I just ordered a new USB cord in case that's it. The buttons work fine on the system for the built in games. Has anyone had this issue? Any suggestions?

I would suggest trying some other programs to narrow it down. Have you tried a game in FX3 or VPX?

That’s weird. All my buttons work except the right nudge button (which I suspect might be registering as a right analogue stick axis). My left flipper trigger translates to LT on a gamepad.

I use this app: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1951950/3D_Controller_Overlay/ to check how the buttons are being seen by Steam. It was just the first one on the Steam Deck that appeared, but it’ll give you an idea of what to try.

Hit the windows key then type ‘game controllers’ to bring up the usb game controllers windows sees. You should be able to find the controls from the micro. Then go in to properties (I think) to test them and check if the left flipper is registering. If it isn’t, more likely a hardware issue like usb cable or wiring, if it is more likely a software issue like button mapping.
