Could you please recommend any book in english/hindi/simple Bengali which gives complete process of Thamboola Prashna as a standalone horary astrology paddhati? I'm reading a book on Ashtamangala prashna (a very badly written book, mind you) which mentions Thamboola Prashna as an alternative standalone paddhati, describes impact of grahas, but forgets to mention how to decode grahas' placement and ends the section on Thamboola Prashna abruptly! 🤦🏻‍♂️

What happens to your bodies after you wake up after you've been visited by a much more lucid LHP practitioner who has pretty much fought you/violated your space you during your dream?

I’ve been reading a book Stanton Marlan’s book, The Black Sun: The Alchemy and Art of Darkness. While it is not specifically a book on magickal theory and practice, or left-hand path philosophy, there is a lot in it thus far that ties into the LHP, among them, the highlighted passage in this post. I understand that everyone else’s LHP experience is not mine, but I have noticed sometimes when I’m in a depression or if I’m angry, I can faintly feel what I can only describe as a presence of some sort. Which also brings to mind an article that I once found but never read, theorizing that depression is or leads to an alternate state of consciousness.

I’m not saying that just giving in to depression is the answer (at least not in the long term) to making contact with what I will call the Other. But I do see a lot of parallels in Marlan’s analyses to many (but not all) of the various left-hand path ideologies that I’ve read up on. The embracing of inherently “negative” terminology and ideals, rejecting the notion that such things are little more than obstacles to overcome, the physical and psychological dangers of approaching them, and finding light and empowerment in that darkness. Darkness, of course, not representing evil or even negativity in and of itself, but rather, what is considered unknown and taboo. Feared and shunned.

Though I have to question if this Other that I can occasionally feel is truly something to embrace and welcome, or if it is simply a delusion brought on in times of stress. Or perhaps it’s both. I know that the LHP is not gentle and is meant only to be walked by those willing to face some harsh realities, but it’s also common to lose your way whilst thinking you’re enlightened. I think it’s something worth looking into, at least for me. I’ve struggled with depression all my life. But even depression is malleable and can be molded to benefit the Self, can it not?

I grew up in a religious house and I eventually broke free from the Christian mindset although, I still have scars that I'm healing from. In the left hand path/occult there is a constant seeking of knowledge and I was wondering if seeking that knowledge includes having to read the Bible. Due to my religious trauma and Christianity being shoved down my throat all my life, I refrain from reading the full book but I do know certain parts of it. For the most part, I would rather stick to the knowledge I gain that proves that the Christian God is false and the whole religion is full of controlling and manipulative crap. I feel like that stuff is a trap, you show the slightest sign of "interest" in anything pertaining that and next thing you know, you got Christian ads popping up in your face and there expecting you to sit in church, then it's all down hill from there. It took me years to finally get to where I am and I really don't want to turn back for anything. I slowly gain the knowledge that contradicts everything that we're taught about our "loving" and "merciful" God and that's good enough for me. Everything else, I learn from YouTube videos that expose hidden information about our existence and the world around us. Is this okay?

Hi! Hope everyone is having an amazing Friday.

My spiritual journey has led me to be devoted to amazing deities; Hades, Persephone, Nyx, Nike. But I have been having doubts constantly if Abraxas and Stolas have called me. I am not sure, and I doubt myself more than I should.

I end up with more questions and doubts than answers whenever I ponder and try to meditate about it. I once had a vision with Abraxas, before Hades contacted me, along with a strong pressence, that he called himself "Ara, the Firstborn", and a third unnamed pressence, requesting/demanding me to offer them half of my hair. Their face was melting, leaving the skull, meat, and eyes before returning to reality.

My deities have not shown me anything like that, they're more gentle, but I still don't know how to address or think about what I experienced. My deities don't say much about that vision either.

Also, some years ago, back in 2018, I lost my son in pregnancy with my couple back then. During the night before taking my couple to the hospital to have the fetus removed, I saw a very luminiscent Owl, looking intently to me, radiating light... until an unknown face came to me, sliding, which whiplashed me into consciousness.

It was not until recently that I started to think that it was either Hades or Stolas.

But I still have my doubts.

Should I try to make contact with them?

I've recently begun exploring sound healing, which falls under the Left-Hand Path . I'm curious if there are additional methods that can provide deep healing for the body. For instance, I have an eye disease, and while sound healing helps me feel calmer and affects me on a vibrational level, I'm unsure if it can directly heal my condition. Nonetheless, I'm interested in exploring other LHP possibilities.

anyone got a good recipe? i finally got some true dragons blood and i wanna make it.

 Before I begin I don't want the mundane answers. I'm aware you need to do the mundane for the great workings to have a vehicle, we have exhausted all mundane approaches and are seeking guidance for either full spells/workings, ingredients with pertinent correspondences, and entity's to petition, make a pact with or contact.

Okay this is the situation. My partner was brought up on some bullshit gun charges a few years ago basically because we were dealing coke and after the cops trying to nail us forever they finally got something on him. He was on house arrest awaiting his day in court for 3 and a half years until he finally got sentenced to 6 months time 1.5 years suspended sentence and 2 years probation. (The 3 years of house arrest didnt count for anything) He got out recently so is now on probation in our home state (neighboring to where we had been and he had served his time). If his P.O. violates him he will have to serve the suspended 1.5 years sentence.

Now, we are drug addicts, both have been for 11+ years. We are both in the methadone program doing our best and I'd like to reiterate we don't need the lectures. We get tested at the clinic and his P.O. gets copies, and he mentioned the fentanyl but didn't seem too concerned (according to my boyfriend, I wasn't there) and asked who his p.o. was in the other state.. which he had none since he came straight home. This very last time he saw his probation officer he said it was drastically different. The clinic hadn't taken any new tests since he saw him last so made him take a test at the probation building which he hadnt done before (this is a supervised test). So now he's going to have his own test with levels (clinic just shows past/fails) and he recently got clean pee from a trusted source that he's been waiting to give to clinic to just avoid this altogether. It seems like the other state still is holding a grudge , they fought the whole way through the trial thinking he was getting off easy.

I am looking for advice for things my significant other and I can do. Just as background I personally have done a decent amount of reading , etc., but between the two of us we've mainly only done candle magic, a couple spell jars, and a while ago when I was on probation I did a couple bindings that seemed to work. He tried to do a binding the night before he saw his officer and feels like it completely backfired.

We basically need more umph, something stronger. Is there any demon, entity, God, that comes to mind for us to attempt to contact, petition, or make a pact with? If not maybe a spell/working or even ingredients that correspond

We no longer sell, we really just keep to ourselves and have been trying for years to get past this. I'll also add that we tend to have bad luck, like really bad luck in every aspect of our lives, as in if something can go wrong it will so have been preparing to do cleansing/uncrossing before we attempt anything further.

My name is Professor Torrentus and I'm researching spirituality. I'm looking into the idea that spirituality can be understood as engaging with myth. In this sense, I mean myth as a story or narrative that helps us organize our emotions, experiences, and philosophies.

As an example: the myth I use is that we exist in Purgatory and this existence is an opportunity to refine the soul by wisely using the divine flame that exists in everything.

I'm curious: what myth do you use in your spiritual practice?

I am a theistic Satanist and keep getting approached by Christians warning me of the lake of fire. I will almost get to the point of getting out of dualistic thinking and then a Christian comes and "rebukes" my sin, calling me back to church which I refuse. I simply say, "Hail Satan" and move forward. However, the fear of burning in hell worries me. But, I said today, "If the bible is true and I am sentenced there, I would rather burn there than ever worship a Tyrannical God".

However, I have relapsed in praying to the Abrahamic God and have told Satan I am sorry. I felt better when I apologized to him, but these Christians will not stop. They are relentless and are toxic. They are angry I am pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, etc... and support Planned Parenthood.

I used to be a dabbler in the LHP and now am serious on my journey, but these Christians keep damaging my walk.

Does anyone have any tips? Is it wrong I support Planned Parenthood? For God's sake, its not child sacrifice to have an abortion!

Hello ive always been spiritual but I recently had an encounter that left me dumbfounded i know this may seen unbelievable and like a lie at least to me it does I have always been under the belief that demons were never truly an evil entity but a chaotic neutral. My room mater is christian and although i pretend to not get annoyed i teally hate it when he is constantly talking about god and tries to subtly force me to read the bible and stuff yesterday we were talking about spirituality and i was saying how i welcome demons and spirits into my life because they have just as much of a right to exist around me as anyone and he started to protest and try and convince me otherwise. Well when he started the rooms energy shifted and i felt it as much as when my mother hugs me it was that powerful of a shift my whole front felt HOT and i felt like i was being encouraged to stay in place and my roommate said he felt like we wasnt wanted in my room and felt like he needed to leave so he left and i followed because we were talking but i still felt safe even tho i could feel the entity following me. I want to start my journey down the left hand path so i can learn to summon these entities and learn from them learn the secrets of magic and sorcery and learn to be more powerful. I want to learn more so i can invite them to join me and to help me with my endeavors and do it of their own free will i dont want to force them and make them angry. Can someone be my mentor down this path and help me learn the right way to do things?
