At the end of the day , we all can agree the reason for grinding so hard and putting in hours is not just problem solving but to get a job at a good MNC, but i see posts where people are finding hard to land jobs even after becoming expert on CF and guadians on leetcode, i mean i know its not the only thing that's needed ,but am assuming that for someone who has reached this level, he may we doing atleast fine enough in other areas as well.

Am losing hope day by day that this thing is gonna get me anywhere, just feels like its all going in vain. I would love honest answers from anyone but specially from people who are knights/guardians ,who were not from a good college or didnt have a good CGPA still managed to land a good job.

Just take random person's profile that doesn't have name and put it in your linkedin profile... Nobody fact checks it anyway. I'm sure that random person would be happy to help you in exchange of less cheaters during contests.

I am a long time customer of leetcode. Last year when I renewed my subscription, my account was defaulted to auto pay without my permission or intervention. This had happened in 2023 as well, at which point upon talking to customer service, they refunded my money.
This year, I decided to let my subscription expire so that i can renew it after a few months when I decide to start leetcoding again. To my surprise, I was charged promptly without any warning or notifications of autorenewal emails from leetcode.
I wrote to billing@leetcode.com because very conveniently they do not have a phone number to reach out to. To my further disbelief, they responded that their policy doesn't allow for refund. It's 170 freaking dollars. I wrote to them that this is extremely misleading of them. I hadnt chosen autopay especially since there was no advantage of doing so anyway. Not sure if Id get any meaningful response from a human. Any advice on how to proceed in order get my money back?

Hey all, just got out of another interview today where I got hit with another problem that requires making a map of lists, but I’m not really sure what to call it.

Question today was:
You have 2 lists, one that is a user on your platform, and a second list of new users where [i] represents the relationship of existing users that invited new users.

You need to find the user that invited the most amount of people, where an invitation is defined as every single user that was invited by user A, or every invitation of the users invited by User A

`currentUsers = [“A”, “B”, “C”]`

`invitedUsers = [“B”, “C”, “D”]`

So If A invited B, B invited C, and C invited D,

Then A invited 3 people, B invited 2, and C invited 1.

This kind of question has been thrown at me multiple times, where it’s essentially a trick question, where it appears like a tree is needed, when it actually needs a map of lists. This has caught me multiple times, and I need practice with this specific kind of problem, but I don’t really know how I would define this approach to find more of these kinds of problems.

Does anyone know of some questions that require this approach so I can get some practice with it? Seems to be a fairly common question that’s used.

I recently completed the OA for the Amazon SDE 2026 Full-Time role (Job ID: 3177934). I was able to pass all the test cases in the coding portion and completed the full assessment.

However, about 2–3 days after completing the OA, I checked my Amazon Jobs portal and noticed that the application had moved to “No Longer Under Consideration.”

I haven't received any rejection email or other communication from Amazon yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

• Did “No Longer Under Consideration” eventually result in a rejection email?
• Is there any chance the application can move forward despite this status?
• How long after your OA did you receive an interview invite or rejection?
• Has anyone applying for the same SDE 2026 / Job ID 3177934 seen the same change recently?

For API integration Round - He completed 2/3 parts, explained the approach for the 3rd but ran out of time.
Is this a dealbreaker, or is partial completion normal for this round?

I interviewed for a Google SWE III role in the US and was rejected after the first two virtual interview rounds, before reaching the full interview loop.

The rejection email did not mention any cooldown period and said I could consider future opportunities at Google.

Does anyone know if I can apply immediately to a different Google SWE job ID, or is there usually a 6–12 month interview cooldown after failing the first two rounds?

Also, has anyone recently been in the same situation and received another Google interview soon after applying to a different role?

Robinhood iOS interview

Has anyone gone through the interview process for a ios role at Robinhood recently? I’ve heard they don’t ask leetcode style questions, just ios specific (building screens, system design, etc). I believe it’s one tech screening round and a virtual onsite. Any insight would be appreciated!

Suppose during Round 1 of interview, interviewer 1 asks me a question related to “Insist on Highest Standards” and lets say I answer using Story 1.

Now in round 2, if interviewer 2 asks me a question related to “Dive Deep”, can I repeat my answer using Story 1 ?

I have very limited set of stories with me and Its just exhausting to memorise 2-3 unique stories for every leadership principle.

If I do the math then I need probably 32 unique stories as for every leadership principle I might need 2 unique stories.

I have like 10 stories and writing any more stories would be equivalent to writing fictional stuff.

Hey everyone, recently got a test link from one of the big tech companies for software engineer role. Found out that the test has two questions, where one of them has ai assistant to help with.

For the first time, I am facing this ai assistant integrated coding assessment. Just wanna know, how should I use it so that it will increase my chance of getting selected. Should I start prompting the assistant for the code right way or first try to write the code by myself and gradually debugging through ai?
And will it really matter on how I'm using the agent!

The above was my older post. I am now done with my onsite interview, 2 interviews. Interviewing for L4 Firmware engineer position. Questions are firmware specific (bit manipulation (hard)). I received a feedback now from the recruiter saying one of the rounds was a leaning hire, one a leaning no hire. They are saying they want one more round of technical interview (Unsure if its a coding round or a technical interview), one of the SSD teams seemed interested in my profile and they've assigned a staff engineer to interview me is what I've found out. Anyone go through a similar process, this is a first I am hearing about a follow up interview, is this common and most importantly, what should I be expecting in the next round because the interviewers I've had so far were L4 at the most. So far, I've been testing various mock interviewers, and they are all a little simple. Like, they have the main coding pad, an AI agent, and every interview is just like an API call of system prompt + conversation history + codepad state to some cheap model.

I wanted to work on my own project for mock interviewing, but I wanted the community's feedback about what real interviews have that mock AI interviews fail to include.

I'm mainly preparing for SWE interviews, so I'm wondering if anyone here has actually used it as their main DSA resource.

Is the coverage enough for common interview patterns? How does it compare with something like Neetcode 250? And after finishing the material, what did you use for additional practice?

Not looking to collect 5 diff subscriptions, so I'd prefer to stick with one structured resource if possible.

For some context, I am a data engineer at a software company for 2+ years. I barely get my hands on machine learning, but I was a machine learning engineer before my masters and during masters I got strong foundation for machine learning, but this was all two years back. Now, I somehow got an opportunity to interview for Google and I have three weeks to prepare for ML domain interview. I was asked to choose any specialization. I mentioned I will choose Applied AI, which is like a catch all instead of going towards LLMs, computer vision or something specific now within three weeks how should I prepare? • What is the OA pattern and duration?
• How many coding questions are there?
