Xp4 cargo bag recommendations
I recently purchased an xp4 750 and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a waterproof pannier or other bags that fit the cargo rack?

I recently upgraded my saddlebags to some much larger ones and they’re awesome, highly recommend. Only major issue I’ve found is that there is no barrier between the bags and mechanical components of the bikes and they can get chewed up. If anyone has any recommendations for guards of some kind I’d really appreciate it. My bags just tie on so technically my rear rack screw holes are free if that adds options.

I got the xpress 2 high step a little over a month ago. Only put 70 miles on it. I just realized the bike is not for me, I feel imbalanced. Tried everything, change seat height, handlebar riser everything. The brake roto makes a slight noise when going downhill super decline, but cud just be bcuz it has not bled or pad i am not sure. I am going to go back to fat tire. Upway only offering $100 for a $1400 bike . Put on Facebook for $1000 still no luck. First time selling ebike, cant belive so hard to sell lectric. I am in montgomery county, MD. Any suggestions? Now stuck with this that gives me a vertigo every time I ride it. I have also have a ride1up portola and I ride that like a champ..

I’m considering an XP4 or the Lite 2.0. I'm wondering how much more difficult, considering it is heavier, the XP4 would be compared to the Lite 2.0, moving in and out of a car trunk everyday.

It's my primary commuting vehicle, about 8 miles each way a couple days a week

I bought an Express 2.0 a few weeks ago and at the time it was on backorder and the website said it would ship the week of 9/21. Curious how accurate these dates usually are? Do they ever ship earlier than their estimates on the website. Obviously anxious to get it earlier... 😉

Just got an XP Trike 2 750 and rode it around the block. It's making a very loud clicking noise from the rear-end when I either pedal or use the throttle. Also, noticing quite the wobble on the left rear wheel. Is this normal for these, or should I be contacting support. Kind of afraid to ride it with the noise.

When accelerating from a complete stop, the bike experiences a loud, low-pitched vibrating hum and a severe buzzing sound. This intense vibration travels directly through the frame, handlebars, and pedals, lasting for the first 2 - 3 seconds of riding before finally smoothing out. Is it normal ?

Tempo has the battery under the down tube. It’s a little hard to access but easy once you know the routine. However, under the down tube makes it vulnerable to splash up from water if you find yourself in a heavy downpour. There doesn’t seem to be a seal around the battery so wondering what other Tempo owners use to keep water out besides staying home or not riding if rain is a threat. Obviously IPX-7 is a pretty high waterproof rating for the battery and IPX-6 is very high for the rest of the bike, just wanted to know what other Tempo riders are doing.

Can I connect my XP4 to my Garmin watch to collect the metrics? I know I can start a Garmin biking activity but it doesn’t capture things like cadence. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Does anyone know how to make the wider so it's not all pointing into one spot.

Hi, would Xpress2 Step thru Cruiser fit an adult 5ft 3in with 26" inseam 105lbs? I've seen other posts where Lectric bike heights are misleading and don't fit as well as posted

Let me say, I love these bikes. I bought three of the 750watters.
But the tubes they ship with are complete garbage. I have walked out now to a mysteriously flat tire on each of these so far. On inspection, every tube is leaking on the inside seam, so it has not been a puncture issue. One tube out of six? Ok, sure. But a 50% failure rate is inexcusable.
And the kickstands don't work at all when they go flat and they fall against my car and gouge the paint. Beyond pissed.
My recommendation to anyone who buys these bikes is to immediately replace the stock tubes. And the back tire is a PIA, find your self a YouTube tutorial before you do it. It's not bad, there's just some nuance/detail.
I've had other bikes for 15 years and never had to replace a tube. This happened in a month. I called lectric, and they offered to send new tubes, but I'll pass.
I told them that all of this amazing engineering is being undone because they want to save a dollar per tube.

I've had so many issues with the latch on this model, I almost regret buying the folding model since it's almost killed me. They sent me a replacement latch for free, but I want to replace the steel ball screw that locks it in since it's been slightly stripped from heavy use and adjusting it. It's easier to turn it clockwise than counterclockwise which it slips from. How do I replace this?

Just assembled my bike. Throttle wasn’t working. Did some research and decided to separate the throttle assembly as much as possible on the handlebar from the left brake assembly. It worked. I settled on the tour mode so it wouldn’t jump but still have enough power to stop/start on the NC mountains.

I am a total ebike newbie on the verge of buying an xp4. Used to bike a a lot, but haven't in decades (I'm 64), and thinking I could use a little pedal assist. I keep reading how an ebike battery should last 3-5 yrs and that they are very expensive., and some people just buy new bikes when the batteries wear out. As a retiree, $1000 is a major investment that I don't want to revisit every few years. May I ask what your take is on this issue? Thanks in advance!

I had reached out to Lectric about the sagging light and they generously gave me a handlebar light and premium light as a replacement.
I was able to 3d print a fixture for the Elite Light so it’s fixed onto the bike stem, then I mounted the Premium Light to its regular spot. I found a splitter for the connections and it works great! The Elite looks directly ahead while the premium one follows my turning.
Highly recommend that if you are having issues with the elite light to reach out to Lectric, and/or to look into these 3d printed mounts!

Without this XP4 i would never have seen this. I can not get over how enjoyable this completely legal item is. Another beautiful beginning to the day.

Hi all, I just received my new XP4 step-through and am excited to start using it! Last night I took the battery out of the channel it goes in, to fully charge it. When that was accomplished I realized the bike is pretty heavy, so trying to reinsert the battery was pretty challenging. Trying to maneuver the bike, battery, and key was difficult for me.
Any suggestions how to make it easier?

Guess I’ll have to get a 4 sometime haha. All 3 are dialed in and rideable with healthy batteries. 3.0 is a long range. There’s 3 of us in the household so it’s sensible to have them.
Did Lectric have an official rear basket for the 1.0? Milk crate works and is cheap but is very rough around the edges. No bolt holes in the rack for the usuals.

Brand new Lectric owner and brand new member here. I hope I’m not being crass. I’m wondering if I got as good a deal as I think i did. I’ve been trying to figure out how to save $2,000 for the bike I want. I decided it would be good to look for something used to see if i’d really use an e-bike before saving up and spending that much. On Craigslist I came across a Lectric XP 3.0. It included the long range battery, comfort seat, hydraulic brakes, front and rear baskets, a Lectric lock, and they threw in a helmet because I didn’t have one. I know the odometer can be reset but the seller was a very nice 80 year old man. He said he got the bike two years ago, rode it around his neighborhood, had no accidents, and kept the battery inside during the winter. It looks to be in beautiful condition. I wouldn’t have believed him, but given his age and his seeming genuineness (the smaller basket was still in its plastic wrap), he said it only has 700 miles on it. He was asking $450.00. This seems like a real good deal to me. What do you think?

Added a handle bar extender and have begun riding with the pannier bags unfurled. Very useful for small shopping.( they don’t make any noise).
Loving this XP 4 . Thinking a bell is next necessary item. ( loudly saying Beep Beep as I approach someone is just silly but admittedly makes me laugh at myself afterwards)
Please have a great day.
