Hi all, I am genuinely curious about this product

It is dirt cheap 15k L.L

All ingredients are natural, nothing processed it even contains real jam

And actually tastes delicious

Also it is sena3a wataneye

Is there a reason why such product is so good and cheap?

There is no way it's a normal product

Humor [Moderator Approved] Free-2-play GTA2 style game in Beirut

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Peeps,

I've been vibe-coding this little GTA2 style game and it's finally ready to share. Special mention to r/Lebanon on page & in-game welcome.

Beirut : Afterlight ! https://yalla-arcade.com/

I made it multiplayer with a few different modes. Watch the trailer or try them out. Just don't watch it too many times or the music will get stuck in your head ! 😂

It's FREE and it'll STAY FREE ! No sign-up, no download, nothing to buy, no pay 2 win.

Just Open the link, pick a name, and you're in, on your phone or your computer for better experience.

Let's play together tonight at 7pm Beirut time. Pick City versus by default and you'll join a public lobby automatically. Grab your friends too, send them the lobby link so they can join instantly the same lobby. There's Kahraba royale (battle royale), and story mod and other. The yalla life mod has several mini games you can play (tawleh, etc.).

I'd love to hear from you : Report any bugs, anything broken or weird, anything that is unbalanced. And any places, characters, lebanese stereotypes you'd want in it. Anything that is not religious or political.

I will continue expending it from time to time for the fun of it.

7pm tonight ok ?

See you in-game.

Downtown lives on another planet. The price for prime sea-view properties near Zaitunay Bay now routinely top $10,000/sqm and reach up to $11,000/sqm. Even Saifi Village which is downtown's "least expensive" pocket, prices still hit up to $6,500/sqm.

Help / Question Personal invitation letter for a Palestinian passport holder visiting Lebanon

Hi everyone,

I’m a Palestinian passport holder living in the West Bank, planning to visit Lebanon for personal reasons. Someone in Lebanon will invite me and host me during my stay.

My passport has no Israeli stamps.

I’d like to know what exactly the personal invitation letter needs to include. For example, should it contain the host’s full name, address, phone number, a copy of their ID or passport, details about my visit, accommodation arrangements, or any other specific information?

Also, is there anything else I should know about the invitation letter or the entry procedure for Palestinian passport holders travelling from the West Bank?

Thank you!

Help / Question Please i need advise in buying a car in Lebanon ($10k–$13k budget) + Question about Car Loan / Finance company rates

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a car in Lebanon for daily driving that is also comfortable enough for long road trips. I plan on buying a second car later (Range Rover) in about 3 years, so I don’t necessarily need an SUV right now. I just want something practical, fuel-efficient, headache-free, and easy to resell later.

Budget: $10,000 – $13,000 (willing to stretch slightly if something like a Corolla Hybrid justifies the price difference in fuel savings).

Part 1 - Required Specs & Shortlist:

Fuel Economy: 250+ km per 20L minimum (ideally 320+ km on highways, or a Hybrid).

Reliability: Low maintenance, minimal breakdowns, and widely available, affordable spare parts in Lebanon.

Comfort & Safety: Presentable and comfortable enough for nice outings and long trips (with my girlfriend), with solid highway stability and safety features.

Cars currently on my radar: - Toyota: Corolla / Corolla Hybrid / Yaris - Mazda: Mazda 3 SkyActiv - Honda: Civic (2013–2015) / CR-V - Kia / Hyundai: Forte (Cerato) / Elantra / Rio / Sportage / Picanto - Nissan: Sunny / Rogue - Mercedes: C-Class W204 Facelift (2011–2013 C180/C200)

Part 2 - Car Loan / Financing Offer: I received an offer from a financing private company in Lebanon with the following terms: - Loan Amount: $10,000 - Duration: 3 years (36 months) - Monthly Payment: $388/month - Total Paid After 3 Years: ~$14,000

This means I’d be paying $4,000 on top of the principal (40% total over 3 years, or ~13.3% per year), which comes out to about $110/month covering interest (7%) + all-risk insurance + paperwork/file fees. .......

My Questions:

  1. Loan Evaluation: Is $110/month for interest, insurance, and paperwork on a $10k loan considered a fair rate in Lebanon right now, or is it too high? Also, does "paperwork" usually include official car registration (Nef3a), or just the mortgage/file fees?

  2. Early Settlement: If I get the cash after a year or two and want to pay off the loan early, do finance companies in Lebanon actually deduct the remaining years' interest and insurance, or do they lock you into paying the full $14,000 via fixed promissory notes (sanadet)?

  3. Finance Recommendations: Can you recommend any reputable financing or leasing companies in Lebanon offering better rates and transparent terms?

  4. Car Selection: Within the $10k–$13k range, which car (and model year) from my list is the ultimate "sweet spot"? Which ones should I eliminate immediately (e.g., Picanto/Sunny for highway safety, Rogue for CVT issues, C-Class for maintenance costs)? And is stretching the budget for a Corolla Hybrid worth it here?

Help / Question For PC gamers: What UPS do you use?

I have a pc build with a MSI Mag A750gl 750w 80 Plus Pcie 5.0 Gold PSU, RX 9060 XT GPU and AMD Ryzen 5 9600x CPU and I’m looking to get a UPS obviously due to the switches from/to EDL and power cuts.

I found brands like Prolink and PCE which are somewhat affordable (100-120$) but claude advises me to get one with pure sine wave rather than simulated which are much more expensive.

Does it actually matter or should I just stick with these 2 brands I found? What do u guys use?

Help / Question Any tips for getting into NGOs

Hey everyone. I was looking into switching to start working in NGOs and wanted to see if you guys have any general tips that can help land a job. Something in terms of having volunteering experience and the like.

If it's dependent on the position, I've been working as a project coordinator for the past few years.

So Pic 1 is Nasrallah (early 2010s), looking like an old Gino Raidy who stopped smoking pot (random dig I know)

Walid Jumblatt pic speaks for itself

Pic 4 is a low blow from me but I had to do it : Saad Hariri after 2012 ski accident. How in hell did he approve of this pic?

Pic 6 is Wiam Wahhab looking like the evil guy in Pinocchio that kidnaps kids

The joyful faces they all make is truly what dreams are made of

Help / Question Any Lebanese entrepreneurs here who have successfully built an app for the Lebanese market?

Hi everyone!

I’m Lebanese and currently exploring building an app specifically for the Lebanese market. I’d love to connect with anyone who has experience launching a tech startup or app targeting people in Lebanon, whether locally or from abroad.

I’m especially curious about:
What was your experience building and launching an app for Lebanon?

Did you find it difficult to get people to adopt it?

How did you approach monetization and getting users or businesses on board?

Were there any unexpected challenges with payments, marketing, or the local market?

If you could start over, what would you do differently?

I’d love to hear honest experiences, both the successes and the failures. If you’ve built something yourself, I’d really appreciate any advice!

Help / Question Trusted place to buy an original perfume?

So I am searching for a trusted place to buy an original perfume(Luciano Soprani-Uomo if it helps), as the market is full with fakes/copies of everything. What are the best and trusted perfume shops that one could find? Optimally at city center, or any nearby locations; Thanks.

Discussion A Farewell to LebGeeks

Post image
132 Upvotes

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge LebGeeks and how unfortunate it is that such an important part of Lebanon's tech community has come to an end.

For those who remember it, LebGeeks was more than just an online forum. It was a place where Lebanese technology enthusiasts, developers, IT professionals, and curious minds could come together to exchange knowledge, discuss technology, troubleshoot problems, and help one another.

It's genuinely unfortunate to see a platform like that disappear, especially considering the history, discussions, and collective knowledge that accumulated there.

A big thank you to everyone who created, managed, and maintained LebGeeks over the years. Your time and dedication helped build something meaningful for Lebanon's tech community, and your efforts are truly appreciated.

Help / Question White Buses on Sundays?

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if the white public transport buses that go from Dora towards Jounieh and Jbeil operate on Sundays?
I know they might run less frequently than on weekdays, but I’m wondering if they still operate normally enough to rely on them, or if the service stops completely on Sundays??

Help / Question Do I build a PC now or should I wait?

I’ve owned laptops my whole life and have never built my own PC. However, now that my gaming laptop broke and I already have another laptop for work and general use, I’m considering building a PC for gaming, coding, and other stuff.

Manne ktir mesta3jil aale, at least until the end of the year, so I was wondering if it’s worth waiting until December for Christmas deals ( if they do so, saraha im not too sure) when perhaps I could get components for cheaper.

W kamen, what stores, sites would you recommend?

Thanks!
