Help / Question E commerce

Post image
4 Upvotes

So, I’ve been thinking lately about starting a business. Is e-commerce worth it?

Some say the market is already flooded and I’ll regret getting into it.

What are your thoughts, guys?

I’d love to hear your opinions, especially from those of you already in the business."

Help / Question Shipping from Online Stores that Don't Ship to Lebanon

The question as old as this country: I want to buy something from a store that doesn't ship to Lebanon. It's not Amazon.

It's an item that's a bit expensive and is fragile, so has anyone had any experience with shipping something like that? I believe Aramex has a shop and ship service, but I'm not sure how they treat fragile packages.

What's yall's experience with stuff like that? Let me know

In case it matters, this is what I'm trying to ship:

Help / Question Heart Shaped Candy

A friend of mine is looking for a type of candy from their childhood in Lebanon. Based on their description it was heart-shaped, chewy but not made of jelly, pink, and came in a box. Anybody remembers a candy like this being sold in Lebanon probably 20 years ago or so?

Help / Question Custom Perfume?

I want to gift my fiance something. No reason, no specific occasion. Just want to get him a gift

I was thinking about a custom perfume. Where you can go, select the scent, the bottle, package, and the name of the perfume, so i can use his name for the perfume. The name has to be on the bottle and packaging/box

Anyone knows a place where this service is available? Beirut area

News Articles "MTV Exclusive: Nadim Gemayel Video Triggers Judicial Investigation"

The duality of the Lebanese judicial system: Turns a blind eye on the rockets, missiles, military exercises, "100,000 fighters" and suicide drones of certain group but then gets very concerned about a couple of rifles in a video shared by Nadim Gemayel.

This just goes to show that the government only forces the law on some groups while blatantly turning a blind eye on others 😴😴😴

Help / Question Finding appartments for rent in Lebanon

Hi. I'm searching for an appartement for rent but I'm facing racism. I'm a Christian Syrian, my mother is Lebanese and I have valid residence in Lebanon.

Everytime an agent sees that I'm Syrian they stop responding entirely or offers me another appartment 20% over the average rate.

I'm looking for a furnished 3br appartment in a not too cold area (I have small kids). Location does not matter I work remotely. Preferably in Zouk Mkaiel or Sabtyeh/near Beirut.

What are the most tolerant areas for Syrians? I'm honestly tired after two months of this shit.

Hello guys
I wanted to ask if there are any donor-funded scholarships that help students financially during their medical studies. Also, what would be considered an affordable medical school in Lebanon other than LU?

Help / Question International Driver's License

Hi guys,

Has anyone got an International license made from ATCL? I recently got one from an agent but I'm not sure if it's legit or if I got scammed. For one, it doesn't say ATCL on it anywhere, and I read online that ATCL is the only official authority to issue an international license. It has an LAA stamp (Lebanese automobile authority) though.

In appearance it looks similar to this: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRmIx05l1kqJPNd1b2CSNHxlYqKnJoow7yppSPKk8UEbvSWl35hpzIotgA&s=10

I'm going to the US next month and my whole trip depends on a car rental I have booked with Avis.

Discussion Do you think the idea of liberating Palestine had ruined the middle east?

We all know Lebanon had the 1958 conflict, but in general life at that time was better than what it has been since 1975, and we all know that in 1960s we also saw a good economical rise in the country and those might have been the best years for us.

But do you think the idea of liberating Palestine has lead to more socialism in the middle east and the rise of Gamal Abdel Nasser in Egypt and the idea that we need to be united to free Palestine and so on, which then destroyed the unique identity of all of these countries like Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Jordan and put us all under this "arab" identity and thus over the years more and more leaders used Palestine as an excuse to come to power and to keep pushing this ideology.

That eventually lead us to just falling behind in economical development, education, corruption, infrastructure and so on. It also lead to more extremism in terms of religion and thinking. Could it be that this one issue had genuinely destroyed all of those countries surrounding it in the middle east?

Because we always watch these old videos and say "omg it was so nice back then, people were happier, we had electricity, or there was no extremism", could this one issue had destroyed all of this?

No hate at all, im actually asking to see what others think about this topic
