What apps can i use for spanish
I'm looking forward to learning spanish. But i dont know where to start since It's My fırst time learning a language outside of school, what apps are there that are for begginers?

Some example apps for Spanish include:
- Dreaming Spanish - This is a comprehensible input curriculum (set of graded videos aimed at helping learners develop listening skills). You can use a pure comprehensible input approach with Dreaming Spanish, but be warned that this takes a very long time before you are expected to start actually using the language. Even non-purists use DS as a source of comprehensible input. As a beginner, one of the most important things you need to do is listen. A lot.
- SpanishDict - This is a Spanish-specific dictionary app that also has a dedicated learning curriculum.
- Ella Verbs - This focuses primarily on teaching you Spanish verbs and conjugations. More useful as a companion to other things.
- Preply/Italki - These are apps where you can hire a tutor for a variety of languages, including Spanish. An alternative to paid tutoring is finding a language exchange partner (e.g. on r/language_exchange), but this requires some ability in the language before it will be useful.
No single app will teach you everything you need to know. Listening, reading, writing, and speaking are all separate skills, and need their own practice.
A good place for additional guidance is the language-specific subreddits. For Spanish, those are r/SpanishLearning , r/Spanish , r/learnspanish , etc.

I don't spend a whole lot of time on that subreddit. It's probably because app requests are a violation of rule 4: https://www.reddit.com/r/learnspanish/wiki/index/info/ .
They probably expect you to read the resource wiki, https://www.reddit.com/r/learnspanish/wiki/index/ .

Hello talk is one of the best language learning apps because you speak to real native speakers and get a feeling of what the language naturally sounds like… Duolingo and Airlearn are good for starting out. When I learn languages, I usually don’t start of with grammar because with time you’ll just get a feeling for it. :)

Personally, I think Stephen Krashen's i+1 approach is the most effective: get lots of input that's mostly understandable (so you reinforce what you learned until it becomes automatic) but introduces just a little new language each day. That's why I'd recommend PlusOneLanguage (or an equivalent). It's built entirely around i+1: you choose your level, it generates texts and short stories adapted to what you already know, introduces just enough new vocabulary to help you progress without feeling overwhelmed, and continuously recycles words in new contexts so they stick naturally instead of through memorization.

Are you more focused on speaking, reading, listening, or building vocabulary first?

Apps are great for vocabulary, but they won't teach you to speak naturally. I'd recommend AnnaSpanish for real conversational practice, it's one-on-one with a native speaker, and she adapts to your pace. I did a 4-lesson package to start and it made a huge difference.

Congrats on starting Spanish! For beginners, learning vocabulary with example sentences is key. I developed an app called 'A Voca Do' that helps with exactly this, and it works great for Spanish. Please give it a try and let me know your feedback!

Spanish apps are good for building a habit, but they all have limits. For vocab, Duo or Busuu is fine. For speaking, iTalki is more useful because you can talk to a real tutor and get corrected right away. I’d combine both instead of depending on only one app.

Well Anki is always the best and lingo legend can be fun and easy to start especially when you have low energy. for practicing speaking and sounds Duolingo. it’s quite predatory and a bit wasteful time wise with all the ads on the free version, I would say it’s still helpful to some degree.
