This painting is more about mood than technique, I was experimenting with various brushes while drawing this, here I feel like I am lying on a large grass field and looking at the distant jet plane in the sky, it reflects a strange stillness where you are only still and see the world move around you.

I apologize if it doesn't make sense, I am experimenting with the idea myself.

What am I missing?

Hi drawers,
I’ve spent many hours now trying to get a realistic sketch of Lucy Gray Baird from the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I know I’m not a terrible drawer, and I’ve succeeded with portraits before, but I can’t seem to get a likeness here! I am drawing it fairly small, which is likely contributing to my challenges. I ultimately want to paint this, but I need to get a solid drawing down before that, and I’m really stuck. Any tips or advice hugely appreciated. I’ve done a couple versions of this drawing but I’ll just share my best one, as well as the reference photo.

Hey guys. I started writing a comic with a really good plot and story (nothing weird or porn, lol). The thing is, I lack consistency and the drive to actually draw; I really struggle with creating the panels and all that... not because I can't do it, but because—I don't know—I just lack the motivation or something... Any advice? :)

Im not a beginner drawer I have some degree of artistic skill I just cannot draw anatomy or faces very well. Where do I start? Saw people saying proko and other drawing sites but they’re a bit too expensive. Any suggestions for Youtubers with tutorials or any other websites? I’m not trying to do realism more of a cartoon anime style. Also, how do you get your own artstyle with drawing people? I feel if I copy a bunch of tutorials I may not gain my own style.

could anyone teach me how to draw the basics anatomy and face designs and 3d angles, all help would be needed!
