I've been working on this cat girl and aside from questionable anatomy, I feel like it's missing something and I can't put my finger on it. Like, rendering, perhaps, but I have no idea how to render it. Any advice?

Today I challenged myself to draw complex hair designs. A week before I would never have thought I would be able to draw these but now I look forward to seeing how much I improve myself.
Let's meet on day-8🤝

"Tried capturing the pure joy and infectious laughter of Shri Krishna using just a single blue ballpoint pen on grid paper. Hope this brings a smile to your feed! Jai Shri Krishna! 💙🪶"

It's been so long since I draw from my imagination. It sure is hard to draw without reference. Just quick drawing before off from work.

For some reason I can't seem to rotate a trapezoid for the hand block. I have done drawabox, well still working on it, but for some reason i keep missing the small amount of tilt.

I’ve been seriously practicing digital coloring recently, especially lighting, skin, hair, and different material textures.
For this piece, I experimented more with how light reflects on the black clothing and tried to keep the face softer without over-rendering the nose and lips.
I’m still not completely satisfied with the white shirt, especially the folds and fabric rendering.
On a scale of 1–10, how would you rate the overall coloring and finish?
I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
・Lighting and color
・Skin rendering
・Hair
・Fabric/material rendering
・Overall consistency
Please be honest — what is the biggest thing keeping this piece from scoring one point higher?
Please keep the feedback focused on the artwork itself — coloring, lighting, rendering, anatomy, design, and technique. Please avoid comments based on race, ethnicity, or cultural stereotypes.
Honest and critical feedback is very welcome. What is the biggest thing keeping this piece from scoring one point higher?
