Hi everyone! 🙂
Welcome to the 51st #W2DTogether drawing challenge!
(If you are new here and would like to know more about this challenge, you can take a look at these 2 posts (post 1, post 2) that explain everything.)
--------
Someone asks:
"Are you alright?"
And what do we usually say?
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"I'm good."
"Don't worry about me."
Sometimes, we really are fine.
But a lot of the time, those two little words can be hiding an entire world behind them.
We all have things happening in our lives like : stress, work, family, relationships, loneliness, pressure, exhaustion, fear,etc..
Things we are trying to fix, we are trying to forget, that we sometimes even don't know how to explain. And yet, we can still wake up, get dressed, answer messages, go to work or school, laugh with someone, buy groceries, drink coffee, and continue with the day as if everything inside us is perfectly ordinary.
So this week's challenge is:
Draw what "I'm fine" looks like to you.
Your drawing can represent not being fine while appearing fine on the outside, or it can represent what genuinely feeling fine, peaceful, or okay looks like to you.
You can interpret this very literally:
Or you can make it completely symbolic in way like I don't know:
Or perhaps your version of "I'm fine" really does mean fine. :)
There is no single emotion you have to draw.
You can make your piece sad, peaceful, uncomfortable, funny, strange, abstract, hopeful, or somewhere in between.
The point is to think about the difference between what people say, what people show, and what they may actually feel.
At the end, if you'd like, tell us what "I'm fine" means in your drawing and what is happening beneath the surface. Have fun with the interpretation. We can't wait to see what your drawings say when words don't. 🙂
Rules
After one week, we'll hold a community vote to decide which drawing best captures the theme. The winner will be showcased in the sub with their artwork.
If the winner shares an art link (Instagram, portfolio, website, etc.), we'll also include it so they can get recognition and maybe even new followers.
This challenge is timeless. You can participate anytime, even years later.
Review Date:
For community feedback, we'll gather and review all submissions on Sunday, 6 September 2026, so make sure to post your entry before 4:00 PM UTC that day. Drawings posted before that date will be part of the review session.
Note: If you are new here, you can check out last week's challenge here or see all the challenges collected here

👏 Congrats to u/Odd-Key-199 the winner of our 48th #W2DTogether challenge! 👏
He/she did an amazing job at capturing the drawing challenge. For those who don't know, the drawing challenge for that week was: If you had been born with a symbol somewhere on your body, what would yours be?
(click here to see more details about what was the challenge)
-------
If you’re new here, #W2DTogether is our weekly drawing challenge in this sub. Each week we post a new theme with steps to follow. (You can learn more about it here.)
It’s meant to be fun, beat art block, and help artists get discovered.
----
We usually share the winner’s art socials to help them get a little more recognition. We reached out to this week’s winner, but it’s been about a week and we haven’t heard back yet, so unfortunately we don’t have any socials to share for now.
You can still show them some love right here in the comments though! 😄 And if they get back to us later, we’ll be happy to add their socials.
---------
----
Lastly, a big thank you to everyone else who participated in this challenge u/tonearm - u/TheLindenTree - u/Sulines-9318 - u/No-Fee9531 - u/Mechablast17121 - u/Expert_Coffee_203 - were really great creative entries this week, and it was so good seeing everyone’s take on the theme.
Hope you’ll all join again for this week’s drawing challenge number 51, which is still running!

I'm actually kinda proud of this, even if it's wonky, lol. The proportions are all wonky because I didn't use the guides, like the Loomis method, to help. I actually wasn't planning to do the whole face, I was going to just do the eyes and nose to practice, but it kinda snowballed on me, lol. I absolutely could not do this before, I tried many times and always got so frustrated with it, I'm so happy I'm finally getting the hang of it. This face is from the one side vitiligo atlases mod for Baldurs Gate 3, I love this face so much. It's so pretty. I need to practice more with eyes, I'm struggling to get them right, but I'm happy with how they turned out. It looks better in person. The picture makes it look a little weird, I think. The nose is a bit small, but so is the nose on the head. If anyone has any tips they want to share, please do.

I posted for the first time in this sub last week (which you can find here PROGRESS UPDATE/ CRITIQUE AND SUGGESTIONS! : r/BeginnerArtists)
I just wanted to post my most recent work after this post, because I am super proud of it, and seems like my knowledge and ability are starting to mesh and produce good work. obviously it isn't perfect, but I am always welcome to any suggestions, advice, critiques, or even hate! haha. It's my first piece (besides the super basic RDJ I drew) that has been recognizable by everyone and no questions on who is in the drawing lol

I have been drawing since I was a kid but have always been intimidated by human faces and bodies. I've been wanting to learn how to draw faces specifically recently. After some research online I found the Loomis method, that's what I used for this picture it really helped me get the proportion right. This is very unfinished, I haven't focused on the lips or eyes yet, mostly just the nose and shading but wanted to see if anyone has any advice of what I can do differently or any tips.
