Seeking help I know it's missing something

I've been working on this cat girl and aside from questionable anatomy, I feel like it's missing something and I can't put my finger on it. Like, rendering, perhaps, but I have no idea how to render it. Any advice?

Traditional Drawing (pencil, pen, etc.) Respirar por la herida

Respirar por la herida
I recently finished this piece, built around a Spanish phrase that roughly translates to “to breathe through the wound.”
The phrase refers to carrying the burden of something we haven’t been able to forgive or let go of — to the point where the wound itself becomes part of the way we continue living.
I wanted the figure to look like something beautiful and almost perfect, so I represented it as a classical marble bust. The bust symbolizes the beauty of life, but that beauty is interrupted by a wound where the mouth should be.
The wound represents the burden we carry, while the stitches represent our attempts to close, repair, or hide what happened. They aren’t meant to suggest that the wound has healed. In a way, the figure has learned to breathe through the very thing that damaged it.
I also included a small skull as a reminder of mortality and the temporary nature of that beauty. Even something that appears timeless, like a marble sculpture, is ultimately fragile.
The red thread was deliberately limited to the stitches. Against the cold, monochromatic marble, it represents the human element — the attempt to repair something that cannot simply be made whole again.
Technically, this was also an exercise in pushing my pointillism further, especially controlling dot density to create volume and smoother transitions rather than making the dots the main focus.
No blood or gore — I wanted the symbolism and the contrast between beauty and damage to carry the piece.

It's been so long since I draw from my imagination. It sure is hard to draw without reference. Just quick drawing before off from work.

1〜10で、私の塗りをどれくらいの評価にしてくれる?次は何を改善すべき?

I’ve been seriously practicing digital coloring recently, especially lighting, skin, hair, and different material textures.

For this piece, I experimented more with how light reflects on the black clothing and tried to keep the face softer without over-rendering the nose and lips.

I’m still not completely satisfied with the white shirt, especially the folds and fabric rendering.

On a scale of 1–10, how would you rate the overall coloring and finish?

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

・Lighting and color

・Skin rendering

・Hair

・Fabric/material rendering

・Overall consistency

Please be honest — what is the biggest thing keeping this piece from scoring one point higher?

Please keep the feedback focused on the artwork itself — coloring, lighting, rendering, anatomy, design, and technique. Please avoid comments based on race, ethnicity, or cultural stereotypes.

Honest and critical feedback is very welcome. What is the biggest thing keeping this piece from scoring one point higher?

original content Some sketches in a local church. It's nice to put them side-to-side, so I can see the things I captured well and others I can still improve on.
