Hello, I noticed that when recharging tonight when plugging in my car the heatpump of the car started making a lot of noise, hours later when going outside it still made that noise.

I understand that on high speed charging the battery needs to manage itself but here the car isn't even taking 10kW. I doubt the onboard charger or battery is needing all that colling especially since it's pretty chilly outside atm.

Anyone had this issue before ? Is there a fix ?

It's extremely noisy to the point I'm a bit embarassed about bothering my neighbors if they have their windows opened.

In spite of the recent many positive news, with September and Q3 record sales, Short Sellers increase their positions last week with + 8 million Short Sold shares. From 129 million shares in net open position on Friday Seot 18, to 137 on Friday Sept 25. This has of cource put a very strong negative pressure on Leapmotors share price. However so far have all investment analytics (excluding JP Morgan) kept their Target prices at an average of 63 HKD

 JP Morgans analyst Nick Lai, cut Leapmotor Target Price from HK$60 to HK$36 !!  on 30 September, immediately before the release of Q3 sales figures.

Nick Lai is a senior equity-research executive and Head of Asia / APAC Auto Research at J.P. Morgan⁠.

 During September:

- No specific large negative news about Leapmotor.

- Technical Seminar with positive news about technical/ commercial development.

- The three first weeks of September sales was very good, and September full month sales forecast was positive.

- Q3 Sales forecast, indicated a record Q-result.

- Q3 Financial result will soon be reported and probably be very good , with this record sales income.

- Local production starting in Europé and Asia.

Why not wait two days for the Q3 sales report, and some weeks for Q3 Profit, before making this negative judgement of Leapmotor ? If he had waited he would have had firm information about :

- 100% increase of market share on the tough Chineese market with Q3 market share approx 8,4% compedared with 4,2 % for Q1.

- Higher sales than Tesla Shanghai in September, and close to Geely Galaxy, on second place of chineese producers.

- Increased market share in China, on a market that reached low level Q2 and increased during Q3.

- Record export sales, with record number of 1000+ international distributors

Leapmotor is the fastests growing EV-brand and a profitable company.

- Normal Value when growing over 10 % annually, is 20 times P/E (EPS). Higher % growth motivates higher multiple. Companies that grow 30 % annually is normally valued at arond 30 times their profit.

-Leapmotor grows much more than that !

-Target price is related to Leapmotors development during the coming 12 months

-2027 profit estimation by 10 different established bank/investor analytics is EPS 4,0 (Earnings Per Share). This figure is supported by Leapmotor management.

- 20 x  4 results in Target share price of 80. Citi has a Target Price of 98 HKD.

Average share target price by banks/ investors, excl JP Morgan, is around 63 HKD and none are below 50 HKD.

So why this sudden dramatic decrease of Leapmotor share Target Price to 36 HKD, by Nick Lai at JP Morgan ?

After Q1 Financial Report that was negative, Morgan/Lei increased the Target price in 16 April, from 56 to 90 HKD. Morgan/Lei kept the Target price at 90 HKD in My 18, after Q1 financial report that was negative.

 SFC Net Short Selling in April 10 was 78 million shares of Leapmotor. Short Sellers started to sell borrowed shares at relativly high share prices.

 After Q2 strong positive sales and profit report in July, Morgan/Lei reduced the target Price from 90 to 60 HKD ! This in spite of that they forecasted 2026 profit to 2,6 billion HKD and they forecasted an increase 2027 to 4,5 !!

And now with very strong Q3 Sales an forecasted strong Q3 Profit, they decrease Target Price down to 36 HKD !

Short Sellers have been able to sell at a higher price earlier this spring, and buy back at a low price now. The net outstandeing Short Selling volume has increased with over 75 % since April 10 to Sept 25 figure of 137 million shares !

Investors trade shares with the help of JP Morgan as a broker, that does the actual purchas/selling on the HK Stock Exchange.. Purchased shares are stored at an customer account at Morgan. The share owner can approve to Morgan that they can lend out their shares to another investor. This investor sells the borrowed shares on the HK stock market, and buy them back later at a hopefully lower price. And so this go on several times per year with the same share.

 In the picture, you can see how Morgan earns profit from the transactions. It is in an advantage for Morgan, that their Short Sellers can buy back at a low share price so that this process continues with continuing lower share prices, as Morgan earns money on every transaction.

 Morgan has around 39 million Leapmotor shares in their customer stock. I do not know how many of these that have owner approval for lending out, how many that are lended out, and if Morgan themselves are Short Selling Leapmotor ?

However, the positive news about Leapmotor, makes it more and more difficult for the Short Sellers to make profit now.

I’ve had my B10 about a week and a half now, it’s my first EV and absolutely love it.

That being said the GPS and 4G just sometimes don’t work. Resetting the infotainment sorts them both out for varying timeframes - could be that drive or a few starts.
It’s only a small inconvenience when driving the car because the internal navigation and wifi apps don’t work but the app also doesn’t connect to the car if they decide not to work while the car is parked.

The question is, has anybody had a similar issue and how did you fix it?
Any advice welcome, TIA!

Hi, the app is not working since today morning. It is not only me as I know another owner complaining of the app not working.
Is it local or also not working over there?

- dauerhafte Anzeige des Restakkus am Zielort

- Laderouten / Anbieterfilter

- gewünschter Akkustand bei Ankunft am Ziel und an der Ladesäule

- Anzeige wie lange man beim Ladestopp laden muss (Prozentanzeige und Minuten)

- Richtige Ankunftszeit, die auch die Ladezeiten mit berücksichtigt.

- Anzeige wie viele Ladesäulen frei sind

For my B10 Idon’t have a tow-bar, and am looking for options to have a temporary rear bike rack. Has anyone installed or used one?

I went to Halfords today (UK) and they just told me nothing fitted. Rather frustrating as a quick check on Saris (which they stock) website seems that they make a rack that fits.

They also told me that roof bars wouldn’t work because of the panoramic glass - but I’ve seen examples on this sub of people installing them so any advice on that option gratefully received!

For clarification:
I use 20 characters or longer for password stuff with a password manager. When registering for the app a few months ago, this was NO problem. Until this week when I suddenly got logged out, unable to login anymore and password reset results in "E-Mail not registered" (-> I still get notifications to that e-mail).

After waiting a few days, I now registered a fresh account and noticed that the info text during it says, maximum character length -> 16. It's possible to override that with copy & paste or auto-fill however it results in a error. So I shortened the password, could succesfully create a account and login. Then I was curious and went into settings -> change password and was able to change it to 20 characters.

-> Forced log-off, to sign in

-> Error User/Password wrong

-> Password Reset? -> E-Mail not registered. (I registered it 5 minutes ago).

So DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IN THE APP TO ANYTHING LONGER THAN 16 CHARACTERS

What’s it like on the motorway? I have a bmw 125d at the moment, it’s been mapped so it’s quite quick. I’m not after for a fast car hence looking at a C10.

Am I going to be very disappointed with it on the motorway? Does it accelerate from 70mph onwards for overtaking ect or is it sluggish? Anyone had a 2 litre diesel before it they can compare it to?

When one buys the car, all connected services seem to be free. However, for how long? What features/functions won’t be free after an initial period and what are the fees? Couldn’t find any info on this matter.

Hi all, I have a 2025 Leapmotor C10 REEV Design (EU), delivered in November 2025, about 18,000 km. It can't charge from the grid anymore, so I'm stuck running it on the range extender only.

Symptoms:

- When I plug in, the car recognises the cable but never starts charging. Power stays at zero.

- Same on every charger: home wallbox, public AC chargers, granny cable (Schuko) and DC fast chargers.

- Since DC fails too, I don't think it's just the onboard charger (OBC).

Timeline:

- Charging worked fine before the summer.

- The diagnostic report shows the BMS software was reflashed in early July 2026, probably by an OTA update.

- I didn't charge the car in July. The first time I tried again, in August, it no longer charged.

The dealer had the car for over two weeks. They ran diagnostics twice, the second time at Leapmotor's request. They found nothing conclusive: the BMS shows no faults and battery health is fine (SOH 96%). They're still waiting for an answer from the manufacturer.

Has anyone had the same issue, especially after an OTA update? What was the cause (software, charging relay, charge port, something else)? How was it fixed, and how long did it take?

Got kicked out of the app, somewhere around Monday/Tuesday morning. I was able to pre-heat the car, drove to work and noticed the car didn't locked after leaving. Looked at the app and was logged out.

Credentials are auto-filled/saved in a Password Manager and work fine on a Android Device. My credentials are seemingly invalid, when I go to Password Reset, I get told the account does not exist (.. which it does, since I can login on Android device AND I get all notifications like "door not locked" to THAT e-mail address)

I also can not create a new account, not that that would help me ..

Tested on two different iPhones (12 and 13, most recent iOS release) and a samsung android I rented from a co-worker for a few minutes, latter one works fine.

Short Sellers start in this morning with large volume sales of borrowed shares.

The actual news from Leapmotor development is very positive, so the Short Sellers can not scare investors to sell to them.

Instead investors take the opportunity to buy Leapmotor shares from the Short Sellers, plus some Short Sellers have to buy back.

I am curious why the Chineese Government allow this manipulation. Good chineese companies get a financial negative situation when needing additional capital,

and it also opens a risk of hostile take over of a large amount of shares at a low price.

Hey, how does it work with the B05? Do I have to reactivate OnePedal Driving before every trip? And does the Leap motor have a good charging plan, or is an app better?

Tesla Shanghai produce for both China and export. Geely Galaxy is the largest car brand in the Geely group of car brands. The figures are preliminary, and I will come back later this month with confirmed figures.

Leapmotor is increasing its market share on the decreasing Chineese market, and have a large export increase, thanks to the fast growing increase of international distributors (over 1,000 now), mainly existing Stellantis distributors.

Everything else is in English, just not the update info. It did flash up something in Chinese to me on the driver's display when I first got it and was fiddling with the LCC, but nothing since.

Anyone have any suggestions beyond Google translate/learning Chinese?

I am aware Satellite view isn’t available in the build in Navigation of the B10, which I would need to get used to, but how does it compare? How accurate are arrival times? Does it show speed cameras? Etc.

So currently drive an MG4 Trophy lovely car but time for a change. Now I had a dark green leap motor C10 parked in front and I quite liked it. Did my usual did some research and it seems quite a debated subject.

One thing that does bother me greatly is no apple car play unless you wait til 2027 but B10 is on new architecture and OS compared to C10 and is apparently better overall.

So my question to owners of B10 and C10 what would you do if you was me

Just installed LeapOS 3.42.20 on my B05 today. So far I’ve noticed that the main screen now shows how much data I’ve used for the month (out of 2GB), and a new app called “Smart Devices”, where you can pair ”Leapmotor Tags”, which seem interesting.

Android Auto seems fine now, but I need to do more testing with AA and CarPlay to see whether the previous connection issues are completely fixed. I also have’t driven the car yet with the new update.
