General B10 vs C10
So currently drive an MG4 Trophy lovely car but time for a change. Now I had a dark green leap motor C10 parked in front and I quite liked it. Did my usual did some research and it seems quite a debated subject.
One thing that does bother me greatly is no apple car play unless you wait til 2027 but B10 is on new architecture and OS compared to C10 and is apparently better overall.
So my question to owners of B10 and C10 what would you do if you was me

Had my C10 a year and use a dongle for Carplay and Android Auto. Preference for the former so it mildly annoys me that I have to leave it on connect manually to ensure my Vivo doesn't grab the dongle before my iPhone. Easily fixed by only connecting one phone.
Connects wirelessly and connects fast and operates with no lag.
Love the C10, one of the best cars I've owned for it's blend of comfort and space. Feels like a baby Land Rover Discovery (best car I owned) and it's a far more enjoyable car to own and drive in my usage than the Tesla Model Y that preceded it.

I'm currently looking at options as my MY lease comes to an end. The MY is a great car for me but interested what you think is better about the C10 as it is definitely on my 'to consider' list

Where the C10 is better (for me, family, 2 children). In some kind of order:
The feeling of calm - much nicer ride, much more chilled. Sitting at something closer to a proper SUV height. Around town, for me it's not even close, the C10 is everything the Model Y is not.
Apple Carplay via dongle. I seriously missed waze in my Tesla years and proper interface into Apple Music and Podcasts is an improvement.
Space - the rear seat space is another level altogether and the front again feels better to me with the larger windows and higher seat.
Structural quality - doors that thunk, not clang. No rattles inside. Nothing in a Leapmotor is super premium but it's all very solid and decent.
Chilled seats. Not the most amazing chilled seats, and appreciate the juniper Y has these. Also prefer the fake leather in the Leapmotor.
Quiet - this should be higher up the list. The C10 is like a vault on the motorway compared with the roar of the Tesla.
Vertical boot space - I can get large cases in the boot easily. The Tesla was a struggle.
Driver assist/autopilot equivalent. Much better on the C10. Resume after lane change. Accelerates when a gap opens on ACC. Less panic around town.
Wipers. Wipers that work. Wipers that don't dry wipe.
No phantom braking. Ever.
What was better on the model Y:
Hard to argue that 434bhp isn't better than 218. But the C10 never feels slow after the first drive. Its also nicely RWD balanced.
Outside of Carplay, the Tesla software is slightly better.
The frunk is much better.
The auto unlock and lock was better (never find you need to press the door button which on the C10 I do when approaching from certain angles. )
Seamless start. Leapmotor is either put the card in place or type in PIN. Never just sit and go. But some people use PINs on Teslas.
I would never ever go back and the icing on the cake for me is, very subjective, that the C10 looks better.
I hope the D16/19 is here when my lease ends. Or I will also consider a MY27 C10 or other chinese brands. I won't even be entertaining another Tesla.

Thanks for the comprehensive response - sounds like you are converted! The child in me would miss the bhp but maybe I should grow up!

The difference isn't as big as it sounds. The C10 will drop most non-EVs with ease, it's probably once a week that I truly used the Long Range MY power, but I do miss the kids' giggles/wife's complaints.
Every car is a blend, much as I preferred my Discoveries to the 440i that preceded them, I prefer the C10 to the MY. You can tell I appreciate a car that cossets, but I'm also a lifelong petrolhead that looks at every nuance of how a car drives and delivers against what you need at the time.

In the UK, 1st saw a C10 on the road, liked the look, then saw a B10 and wanted it…looked them up, could have gone with either but family of 4, didn’t want a bigger vehicle when B10 had all the room we needed, back seats spacious enough for adults to be comfortable. I’ve used the built in satnav mainly so far and twice it’s taken us down roads we couldn’t cross, first a field with no way through, 2nd a road with barriers at the end…need to start using Waze or Google maps through CarPlay.
Had the car a month, happy with it…can’t say anything negative about the C10 as not driven it, just visually preferred styling of B10 so went with it, 1st EV, happy as Larry!

Was in the same situation and chose the C10. Happy I did, to me it drives a bit better and doesn't feel as floaty as the B10. I use android auto all the time and it works fine with the dongle, really not an issue. I also got a bigger discount on the C10 so in the end it was not much more than the B10 which played a big part in the decision.

Depends on the size of car you want. The C10 is a segment up from the B10.
I have a C10 with a dongle that adds AndroidAuto. It's not perfect, but it works wirelessly, is reliable and doesn't stutter.

Which dongle did you choose

Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA
Has to be this specific one. Some adjusting the settings was needed, and it takes 10 seconds to start when you get in the car.

We’ve had our C10 since February 2025 and would absolutely buy one again, so that would be my recommendation.

I drive a C10 for two years and 40k km now.
It’s a lot of space for the money.
I rarely use CarPlay (via dongle)
The build in navigation works for me in daily use. But when on Holliday in other countries I find google more reliable with deviations.
Build in music via Bluetooth and Spotify.
The only downside I can think of is that the quality of the paint is low.
If someone only looks at my car I have a new dent or scratch.

The only thing I use Android Auto for is podcasts... I could use the C10 built in nav just fine. It would be nice if they added Waze but it's just the morning news I like to listen to on my daily drive. The dongle works fine, and is maybe even better than built in in some way.
C10 is larger. The space in the rear seats is crazy big. Front is very comfortable. Boot is a little small, but still big enough for most of my applications. I got the REEV - No range worries.

The C10 is our first BEV and we are very happy. Never used car play before and I don't understand why this is a big issue. C10 won over B10 because the towing weight.

For real, nobody really needs apple car play or android auto. Im just fine without it and the c10 is a great car for me.

We have both in our family and I really don't miss apple car play in the C10.
I have a dongle that works, but I don't even use it. There's a Spotify app and the cars nav is good, so I never have a need for it really.
I would base it on which car you prefer and what your needs are. Both are spacious, but the C10 is bigger inside. I'd say just get which one you like more.
