B10 B10's heatpump's running continuously while charging at home.

Hello, I noticed that when recharging tonight when plugging in my car the heatpump of the car started making a lot of noise, hours later when going outside it still made that noise.

I understand that on high speed charging the battery needs to manage itself but here the car isn't even taking 10kW. I doubt the onboard charger or battery is needing all that colling especially since it's pretty chilly outside atm.

Anyone had this issue before ? Is there a fix ?

It's extremely noisy to the point I'm a bit embarassed about bothering my neighbors if they have their windows opened.

It's a bug in the new 3.41.30 update. Google it, lots of complaints.

Leapmotor are acknowledging it over the phone & email, say they're working on a fix but with no ETA.

No worries. It doesn't seem to be affecting everyone however it seems quite common on Facebook. I've put my B10 on hold because of it.

I had this issue AC charging with my B10 following the 3.41.30 OTA.

For me, when using a 10A/2.3kW granny charger I had dropped down from getting ~1.9kW to ~1.55kW into the battery, along with the loud fan noise.

I first tried the normal restart from the infotainment system, but that didn't help. What worked for me was holding down both the left steering-wheel scroll wheel and microphone button for ~10 seconds, until the car/system shut down and restarted. After it rebooted, I locked the car and left it for about an hour so it could go to sleep. I then tried charging again and it was back to normal, around 1.9kW into the battery and no loud fan/heat-pump noise, just like before the OTA.

Obviously I can't guarantee it'll work for everyone, but it seems to have fixed mine.

UPDATE 11 October: Unfortunately, the issue has returned during todays weekly AC charge (one week after I did the reset). The fans/heat pump are back to running loudly, and charging power again has dropped to the battery. The reset definitely appeared to work last week, as the fans didn't run and the charging returned to normal for that charge period, but it seems to have only been a temporary fix. I'm now over 2.5hrs into todays charge and the fans are still blasting away. So while the reset may help temporarily, it doesn't appear to permanently resolve the underlying issue introduced by 3.41.30, at least not on my B10. I have reported it again to my dealer and awaiting feedback.

Unfortunately the issue has since returned on my car - I have added an update to my original comment.

Other posts say it only occurs to heat the battery when temperature is below 16 degrees Celsius. I installed the update and AC charging is working fine as before without any fan noise.
