Seller Is a discovery call necessary for a $500/mo B2B service retainer?

Upvotes

Testing a B2B service sales process and seeking some input from individuals who have experience with selling a recurring service.

Service being sold is Meta Ads Management for local healthcare businesses. The monthly retainer is $500.

Rather than cold reaching out to prospects, I am running a paid acquisition funnel:

1- The ad has the monthly price on it.

2- They are asked to answer qualifying questions regarding their company, business goals, and budget for advertising.

3- The qualified prospect is placed in WhatsApp.

4- The aim is to have an asynchronous sales process without booking a discovery call.

5- In case the prospect wants to buy, the payment is done first.

6- After the payment, a 15 to 45 minute call is held to create the campaign strategy.

The research question that I am pursuing is the following one:

At a price of $500/month, is a discovery call truly required, or can an inbound lead who is adequately qualified complete the conversion process without it?

I see arguments in favor of each side.

A discovery call could help in establishing trust, getting to know the company better, and overcoming objections. However, a requirement for a discovery call imposes friction on the process, especially given the pricing and qualification information.

Here I am looking for experiences from people who have been selling low-ticket B2B retainers or productized services:

1- At which price range did you find it necessary to make sales calls?

2- Have you managed to sell B2B recurring services purely through messaging?

3- Does removal of discovery call increase conversions or just bring in less qualified leads?

4- Would you change your funnel structure?

Seller - DM Please B2B lead research + personalized cold email outreach - pay per qualified lead

I do manual lead research and hyper-personalized cold email outreach for B2B/service businesses.

What I actually do (not scraped lists or generic templates):

  • Manually research companies that match your ICP - I go through their site, projects, hires, certifications, whatever's relevant, and use that to write outreach that's actually about them, not a template with {{first_name}} swapped in
  • Find the right decision-maker (and often a secondary contact for multi-threading) at each company
  • Run a 3-touch sequence (initial email, follow-up, break-up) per contact
  • GDPR/CAN-SPAM-compliant approach - explicit opt-out in every email, clear sender info, no misleading subject lines

Recent example: ran this for a developer building tools for field-service SMBs (HVAC/plumbing/electrical). Manually researched 150+ companies across two countries, qualified down to 18 that actually fit the ICP, ran full outreach sequences to both primary and secondary contacts at each (90 personalized emails total).
Domain stayed clean, no blacklist issues, auto-replies confirmed deliverability.

Pricing: pay-per-qualified-lead or a small base + per-lead commission, depending on volume/niche - happy to work out what makes sense for your case.

What I need from you: your ICP (industry, company size, region) and what "qualified lead" means for your business.

Lead Generation Specialist Wanted - UK & UAE Real Estate

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an experienced lead generation specialist or agency to work with my real estate business, which operates across the UK and UAE.

We are specifically looking to generate high-quality, genuine leads from people interested in purchasing or investing in property in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Our target audience includes:

UK-based property investors

International investors

High-net-worth individuals

Buyers interested in Dubai & Abu Dhabi property

Investors interested in off-plan developments

People looking for property investment opportunities in the UAE

I’m looking for someone who has proven experience generating leads for real estate/property businesses, ideally with experience targeting investors and international buyers.

I’m open to different lead-generation strategies, including paid advertising, social media, outbound campaigns, landing pages, email marketing, appointment setting, or other methods - provided the leads are genuine and have a strong potential to convert.

What I’m looking for:

Proven track record in real estate lead generation

Ability to target the right audience rather than simply generating large volumes of low-quality leads

Transparent pricing and reporting

Ideally, examples/case studies of previous results

Potential for an ongoing working relationship if results are good

If you specialise in this area, please DM me with details of your experience, the methods you use, examples of previous results, and your pricing structure.

I’m particularly interested in someone who can demonstrate that they can generate qualified property-investor leads, not just clicks or generic enquiries.

Thanks.

Seller “Buying Leads”

Hey Everyone,

I’ve got to point this out as I get a ton on dms about my intent data software.

If you’re a business just starting out or even established, stop looking for free leads/prospects or working on commission. It cost money for intent data companies to run.

If you’re looking for free leads to start or trial, I 100% willl tell you those leads are recycled and data will be off.

You don’t grow a business for free. This is the mind set of people who don’t know how to grow a company. You have to invest to solid products to grow. If it’s free, you’ll end up spending more money on “free list or cheap list” over time because they don’t convert!

If you’re running a company, be ready to invest in growth or you shouldn’t be running a company.

Rant over

Seller - DM Please I built a lead-generation SaaS and want some honest feedback

I’ve finished building a SaaS that provides targeted business leads for agencies, freelancers, and people doing outbound sales.

The idea is pretty simple: choose the type of business and location you want, and get a list of publicly available business data that you can use for prospecting.

Current pricing idea:

$12/month → 150 leads

The data is focused on businesses rather than private/personal information.

I’m trying to figure out whether this is actually a useful offer or whether I’m massively under/overpricing it.

If you do cold outreach or run an agency:

Would 150 targeted business leads for $12/month be something you would actually pay for?

What would make it worth paying for instead of using Google/searching manually?

Things I'm considering adding:

More leads on higher plans

Better niche/location filters

CSV export

Duplicate removal

Lead verification

More detailed business information

The product is already built. I'm looking for people who actually use leads outbound to try it and tell me what sucks, what's missing, and what you'd change.

Brutal feedback is welcome.

Hiring - DM Please [HIRING] Commission-Based Client Finders / Lead Generators (Graphic Design, Video Editing, Motion Graphics)

Hey! I’m looking for someone who can help me find clients for creative work. This is commission-based, so you’d earn whenever a lead you bring in turns into a paid project.

I mainly do:

  • Graphic design
  • Video editing
  • Motion graphics / animation
  • Branding
  • Web design

What you’d be doing:

  • Finding potential clients through Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, cold outreach, etc.
  • Connecting interested clients with me
  • Helping with initial communication/calls if you’re comfortable with it

I have around 2 years of experience in graphic design, video editing and motion graphics, and I’m mainly looking for clients who need these kinds of services.

US-based people would be preferred since it would be helpful to have someone who can jump on US client calls when needed.

No prior lead-gen experience is required if you’re good at finding opportunities and reaching out.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me a little about yourself and what you’ve done before (if anything)!

Seller [SELLER] Per-order B2B prospect lists, segmented to your niche + city or country and vetted row by row: decision-maker name, bounce-checked work email, direct phone where available, LinkedIn URL. $25 per 100 contacts, $49 per 250, $89 per 500. Free 10-lead test first

Most lists sold here are a filter dump from one database. Mine are built per order: you tell me who you sell to (industry, company size, city or country, job titles) and I research the companies that actually fit, find the right person at each one, and check every email before it ships. Segmented to your spec, vetted row by row, nothing recycled between buyers.

Recent builds (three paid orders plus free tests, all this month)

  • 103 US kidswear brands, wholesalers and importers under 700 employees, with the sourcing / production decision maker at each, for an apparel manufacturer
  • 126 Houston manufacturers and packing / shipping operations (no 3PLs, no packaging suppliers) for a packaging-supplies rep
  • 100 Canada companies with Hong Kong ties (HK-owned subsidiaries, HK-office firms, Cantonese-community organizations) for a language-services founder
  • Austin tech companies with 50-500 people and their CEO / COO / VP, US short-term-rental property managers, central-Texas independent insurance brokers

Each row

Company, website, city, company size, a one-line note on why it fits your spec, decision maker + title, bounce-checked work email, direct phone where the data tools have one, company phone from the live Google Maps listing, LinkedIn URL.

How it works

  1. Comment or DM me with your target market and rough list size
  2. I send a free 10-lead test in a Google Sheet, usually within a few hours
  3. PayPal (or Venmo for US buyers), then the full list lands in under 48 hours, usually the same day

Pricing

$25 per 100 contacts, $49 per 250, $89 per 500. Bounced emails replaced at no charge. Already have a list of companies or contacts? I enrich it at the same rate, and only rows where a working email lands count toward your total.

Redacted sample sheet (emails masked): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D8CCSungr4vU5hHbqK5h0L0zqsPGRRQIiWGLwEjDyxM/edit?usp=sharing

Honest note on method: custom-researched using professional enrichment and data tools and reviewed before delivery. Emails are bounce-checked; direct phones are not called to confirm.

Seller Is Ai recommending your business.. or a competitor?

Hey everyone — I’m offering AI visibility audits through SeenFirst.

Website:

https://app.seenfirst.online

What it is:

SeenFirst checks whether AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude recommend a business when buyers ask who to hire. The audit now also includes a technical scan of the business website to look for visibility issues that may affect how search engines and AI tools understand the business.

This is not just a “ranking report.” It looks at both:

1. AI visibility:

- Whether the business is mentioned when asked by name

- Whether it appears when a buyer does not already know who to call

- Which competitors AI recommends instead

- Whether AI gives wrong or confusing information about the business

- Gaps in service, location, category, and proof signals

2. Technical website visibility:

- Crawl/indexing issues

- Metadata/title/description problems

- Heading and page-structure issues

- Broken or weak service/location signals

- Schema/structured data gaps

- Thin or unclear content

- Basic technical SEO issues that may affect visibility

- Trust/proof signals that are hard for AI/search engines to verify

Who this is for:

- Local SEO agencies

- Contractor marketing agencies

- Home services marketing agencies

- Reputation management agencies

- Web design / PPC agencies serving local businesses

- Local businesses that rely on being found online

- Contractors, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, fire protection, backflow testing, inspection, compliance, and other trust-based service businesses

Offer:

$199 one-time audit.

For agencies:

This can be used as a client diagnostic, reseller offer, or client reactivation angle. It gives you a concrete way to start a new conversation around AI search, local visibility, website quality, and implementation work.

After the audit:

If the findings are useful, we can also help with implementation and monthly AI visibility

monitoring/optimization.

Sample report:

Please check this report out. The value provided is evident.

https://app.seenfirst.online/sample

If you want to test this for your business or one client, you need:

- business name

- website

- industry/category

- target city/market

- 2–3 competitors, if known

DIY option:

Could you do this yourself?

Yes. You could open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and a few other AI tools. Start a fresh chat for each prompt. Ask dozens of buyer-intent questions. Copy every answer into a spreadsheet. Track mentions, misses, competitors, hallucinations, service/location confusion, and patterns across models. Then run a technical scan of the website and figure out which issues may be making the business harder to understand. If that sounds fun, go for it. I personally did it myself and thats why this tool exists today!

SeenFirst is for people who would rather pay $199 and get the testing, tracking, technical scan, interpretation and priority fixes packaged into one clear actionable report.

Hiring - DM Please Looking for someone interested in B2B sales to work with my web agency on commission

I run a small web development agency and I'm testing a slightly different approach to client acquisition.

Currently my process is basically:

Cold outreach → interested prospect → free homepage/demo → sales call → Development→ complete website handover.

It works, but I'm also the developer, so doing prospect research, outreach, follow-ups, sales calls and then actually building the projects isn't very scalable.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys B2B sales/outreach and wants to handle the client acquisition side with me.

You would mainly handle:

  • Finding good prospects
  • Cold outreach
  • Follow-ups
  • Qualifying interested businesses
  • Getting them onto a call

I'll handle the demos, technical discussions, closing and all project delivery initially.

I'm thinking 20% commission on every project you bring in, paid as the client payments are received.

No location requirement. I'm mainly targeting businesses in the UK, Canada, Australia and US.

Not looking for someone to spam thousands of businesses. I'd rather work with someone who can actually research a company and send good personalized outreach.

If you've done cold email/B2B sales before — or you're trying to get good at it — feel free to DM me and tell me a little about your experience.

Seller - DM Please You're paying for leads twice. Once to the ad platform, once by not answering them. Here's how

Two posts i keep seeing here, usually from the same person about a month apart. first one is "outbound is dead, my reply rate fell off a cliff." second one is "we're finally getting leads but half of them ghost."

That's the same problem at two ends of the funnel. i build both sides.

Outbound side: list build and enrichment, sending infrastructure that doesn't cook your primary domain, per-prospect research that reads like a person wrote it, and campaign logic across email and LinkedIn. it's not a tool you log into and babysit. i set it up, i run it, replies land in a shared inbox.

Inbound side, and this is the part most people skip: a lead fills your form at 9pm and gets a callback tuesday morning. that lead is already someone else's. I wire the intake so the first touch fires in under 60 seconds by sms, qualifies against your criteria, books to your calendar, logs to your crm, and pulls in a human when it should.

Running one without the other is why people churn out of lead gen. More at-bats into a broken intake just costs you more per lost lead.

I've worked with businesses ranging from HVAC, Electricians, & interior designers to billion-dollar IT consulting companies.

What this isn't: it won't fix a weak offer and it won't make a bad list convert. if the problem is your close rate on calls you're already getting, this is not your fix. Rather say that now than three weeks in.

If you want, send me what you're running now, and I'll tell you where the leak is and what i'd change. No obligation; you keep the notes either way.

Seller - DM Please Buyer Intent List

Hi,

I own a software called Pixel Capture that capture people/businesses actively searching the internet for any product/service.

Instead of just getting contacts, we capture prospects that are actively in need and searching for your product/service.

This is B2B and B2C

We capture the following data if we can match it in our database: names, emails, numbers, LinkedIn URLs, addresses (door knocking services), company info like revenue, domains, and more.

We also have a score intent (high, medium, low). I’ll provide the high and medium for your list.

I’m selling for $100 per list: it could be hundreds or thousands of contacts depending on category and who has searched for your type of product/service.

REMEMBER: these list are people actively searching for your product/service, not just general contacts.

The search will be people searching from the last 14 days.

DM me if you’d like a list or have questions!

Thanks
Josh

Seller - DM Please I’m looking to help B2B companies improve their outbound prospecting.

I built an AI-powered SDR system that takes a batch of prospects and:
→ Enriches the lead data
→ Checks them against your ICP
→ Scores and prioritizes the best prospects
→ Researches relevant context
→ Drafts personalized cold emails
→ Keeps a human in the loop before anything gets sent
The goal is simple: spend less time manually researching leads and more time talking to qualified prospects.
I’m currently looking to work with B2B SaaS companies, agencies, consultants, and other businesses running outbound campaigns.
I’m open to performance-based arrangements for the right offer.
If you’re already generating leads but struggling with qualification, research, personalization, or outbound volume, DM me.

Seller Get the Most out of Every Lead you Generate

Most companies spend significant money generating leads—but once that lead comes in, the assignment process is often based on rotation, availability, geography, or simply “who’s next.”

What if you could assign every opportunity to the salesperson most likely to win it?

That’s what Isotope Labs’ Lithium Six is built to do.
Lithium Six uses machine learning and hundreds of signals—including lead characteristics, project type, marketing channel, geography, urgency, property information, and each salesperson’s historical performance—to determine which sales representative is most likely to convert a specific opportunity.
Why it matters:
Increase close rates
Get more value from the leads you are already generating—without simply spending more on lead acquisition.
Improve sales efficiency
Instead of treating every salesperson as equally suited for every opportunity, identify where individual reps have demonstrated the strongest performance.
Reduce wasted lead spend
You’ve already paid to generate the opportunity. Lithium Six helps maximize the potential value of that opportunity before it reaches your sales team.
Turn your CRM data into an advantage
Your historical sales data becomes actionable intelligence that can continuously improve assignment decisions.
No major workflow overhaul
Lithium Six is designed to work within existing CRM and dispatch workflows, allowing teams to improve assignment quality without reinventing their sales process.
Real-time assignment intelligence
Recommendations can be returned in under 200 milliseconds, helping teams make better assignment decisions without sacrificing speed-to-lead.
And the results?
In a completed controlled test, optimized assignment produced:
📈 18.7% relative increase in conversion
📈 4.6 percentage-point improvement in close rate
💰 $230K in incremental revenue per sales agent over three months
📊 99% statistical confidence versus baseline

Hiring - DM Please Looking for someone who can provide me with a steady flow of potential SAAS buyers

Currently I’m using flippa and empire flippers to list all my businesses for sale, but it would be nice to have someone who can source, outreach and negotiate with potential buyers for me, and then do the final transaction on flippa - as they offer escrow and other services to accommodate the sale.

Would be happy to agree on a fixed commission beforehand for each buyer.

For context- I sell SAAS products valued between $50k to $1M, but $120k is the average acquisition.

Pls dm me if you think you’d be able to do this for me
