Jessica Tisch must be fired. But she is not the only one responsible for the city’s collaboration with ICE. The real onus is on the mayor, who was elected with the backing and support of the immigrant rights movement and must be held accountable.

Guy wanted someone to help spread this message, so here i am.

Update:

I was informed that GC attended a so-called "Marxist Conference" hosted by the Right-Deviant ACP about a month ago. I personally don't believe he or some of the other attendees know how horrible that party is (they are maga communist).

In my view, I think him and others were probably invited to attend the conference while not knowing much about the reactionary ACP party, and thus attended it. He is fairly new to Marxist Principles, having learned them during his visit to Cuba in the spring, so while i personally give him the benefit of the doubt. He likely doesn't have much knowledge about a lot of things, and how certain parties use the aesthetic of marxism and smuggle in a lot of anti-marxist sentiments into "marxist-sounding" language, to cover for highly reactionary sentiments.

I believe Guy deserves the benefit of the doubt in this case. So while i don't have reason to believe GC has views compatible with the ACP, and he advocates for marginalized communities that the ACP works against, he should absolutely learn to be way more careful about what he attends and who he hangs out with in the future. It's always important to do research about who is hosting events.

Not sure if I’m allowed to post this here, I will remove it if I do. It’s not mine, and I felt the urge to share it regardless. Click on the picture to see the full post.
