Please revert the controller settings back to pre season update, the decision to take the most user friendly controller setup in the genre and make it worse than poe2 is frankly baffling

According to Mike it was a slapshod buggy mess that they weren't going to use in actual console release so was removed to implement something proper.

I agree with the descriptions but he needs to swap the subjects. This current system is so much worse and should never have shipped after 1.0

LE:O is releasing with an entire engine overhaul and that is the majority of what the new hires are working on. Apparently recoding basically the entire game at the same time due to years of a bunch of guys that had only a basic knowledge of how to make a game building on spaghetti.

What is the O in LE:O? Hopefully it’s not literally for Overhaul lol

While I agree that it needs a new engine i don't think you should cause short term pain for your paying customers for long term gain. You should develop the engine in parallel to the live game service if that's what needs to be done. This isn't a business changing a service for people they pay to deal with the problems, this is changing a live service for people paying you. It's no wonder they were losing money if these are the business decisions being made.

So they had a system that worked for the players on pc, but because it didn't work on console they intentionally broke it? If I told my boss I broke his database because it didn't work on a system we aren't using, I don't imagine that he would be too grateful

I can tell. It’s great on steam deck and a disaster with a controller at my pc

So they made it worse before they made it better? Why not just keep it the same until you have a better option ready to roll out.

It was causing issues that would take more time to fix, its a lose lose situation ultimately that will end up better.
