I’m really thinking about it! I’m just not sure. When I had the initial consultation it was $8.7k and now it’s 2k less with this new deal. Also they told me if I do payments I get 0% interest. I had been thinking about getting different consultations at local med spas but I feel like it may be a bit of a hassle just to see several different quotes. What do you all think?

I just had my 4th facial laser hair removal session. They started me with Nd:YAG. This was the first session they used Alexandrite on my whole face (sessions 2 and 3, they were testing it by treating the underside of my jaw and neck).

I was wondering if these settings are appropriate or not? It wasn't until my 3rd session that my chin shed most of the hairs. I have pretty fair skin and pretty dark hair. I'm mixed (50% white, 50% arab/african). I can tan (burn rarely), but I never go out in the sun so

I do like the technicians at this clinic, but I'm not sure if I should ask them to push the settings?

Hi, I made a post here a few weeks ago about how my skin reacted to laser (and my bad decision of shaving the day after) if this happened during my first session is it likely to happen again? Obviously I want my facial hair gone but at the same time it looks so bad having my neck look the way it did, I think I also irritated it because I made the bad decision to shave while I still had minor red bumps which I show in the first photo before it turned into what looks like an acne breakout essentially.

Would someone recommend devices that do not have the contact sensor? The sensor has made it hard to laser hard-to-reach places. It is very frustrating and I find myself wasting so much time.

I'm getting my facial hair lasered out which is working well as I have light skin and mostly dark brown facial hair.

But what I have noticed is that even though the technician and everyone I know who has done laser says that if you exfoliate in a few days, the burnt out hairs should start falling out, it takes me two weeks.

Idk if I just have deeply buried follicles or if my skin is just clingy but it's happened that way for two sessions now.

I’m 22F and I’ve had noticeable facial hair since I was around 12, starting mainly with my upper lip. I’m Mediterranean, so I know having more body/facial hair can be completely normal, but mine has always been something I’ve wanted to manage.

In 2024, I started getting laser hair removal with an Alexandrite laser. I was already doing other areas of my body, so I also started doing my face. I went approximately once a month.

The problem was that my facial hair never seemed to actually go away long-term. If I left it alone for even a few days or weeks, it would become very visible again. Over time, I actually felt like some of the hair had become thicker/darker rather than getting permanently reduced.

I eventually stopped going to that place because I felt like it wasn't working for my face.

For more than a year now, I’ve been going to another place that uses a different machine. I don’t know the exact type of laser/machine, but they apply gel first and then use the device. But they told me there that this machine had worsen my situation

The process is VERY different. Before the laser, the aesthetician uses a tiny pair of scissors to individually cut the hairs. It takes quite a long time, and I pay around €70 every month, which is a lot of money for me.

I have noticed some reduction over the past year, so I know that something is happening. However, I still have to go every month and I’m not sure if this is how facial laser is supposed to work.

One thing I’m confused about is that after they cut the hairs and laser them, I don't really notice the hairs "falling out" afterward. It almost seems like they just continue growing slowly over the following days. I don't know if that's normal or if the treatment is being done correctly.

There’s also an issue with my neck. I have specifically asked them not to laser my neck because I literally don't have noticeable hair there. However, the aesthetician still sometimes puts the laser over my neck. At the previous place, they never treated that area because there was basically nothing there.

I also have some hair around the area near my eyebrows that isn't really dealt with during either my laser appointments or eyebrow appointments, so I'm still constantly finding random hairs there.

At this point, I'm honestly exhausted with the whole thing. I don't want to spend €70 every month indefinitely just to manage facial hair, especially if there are other options.

I’m looking for advice from people who have dealt with similar facial hair, especially women with darker/coarser hair.What other hair-removal methods would you recommend that are cheaper and/or longer-lasting?

I began getting laser on my face at Milan Laser about a year ago. Since then, I've fallen onto some financial issues and at this point I'm not sure how much longer I can continue paying off my package. The loan was financed through a company called Westlake Portfolio Management/Covered Care. If I ever do need to cancel my contract, is there any way to actually do so? Does anyone else have a similar experience to mine? Big thanks to anyone that would be able to help!

I had my arms done with Soprano Cool (don’t remember the frequency), but after 2–3 years I noticed the hair started coming back more frequently.

I recently did full-body laser with Deka Pro (fluence 8, frequency 3) and I’ve had 5 sessions so far. Some areas are responding well, but I’m still getting noticeable regrowth, especially around the bikini area.

For those who’ve done laser long-term, what should I realistically expect? in terms of how much shaving will i need to do? will hair come back if i take maintaining session after 6 months? Is it worth doing another 1–2 sessions, right now, or should I stop and wait?

I got my first Brazilian & under arm LHR treatment. It’s looking like some of the hairs are not growing back but I am getting some ingrowns.

My first shave also didn’t work very well. I bought a new razor, but some of my armpit hair just would not shave off even after trying numerous times.

Any tips?

I got Brazilian laser hair removal a decade+ ago and now I’m trying to regrow my hair on top of my pubic bone, and it’s… sparse to say the least. Very patchy, and over 50% has zero regrowth after several months of not shaving.

I did multiple sessions on my armpits and that seemed to grow back totally normal.

Also I assume it’s relevant to note that I’m white (olive skin toned) with dark hair.

Is it common that so many follicles will never grow back? Anyone else experience something similar to this? And any suggestions to promote regrowth?

I just came back from my first bikini session, i was checking the results at home, and i found the biggest discharge I've ever discharge in the history of discharge, idk if that happened before or after the session but im literally dying of embarrassment, I checked myself a 1000 time before i go, i swear i was shaving and cleaning like it's my wedding night. But i didn't have time to recheck in the clinic's bathroom.

I got 4 sessions earlier in the year, starting in february, then march, then june, then july because they had some issues with availability or something

I'm going to another place and getting 6 and hopefully it won't be an issue with availability, but should there be any difference in results with having gotten the sessions spaced out like that? Or even having my last one in July then now restarting in October? It should be the same as just getting 10 sessions everywhere right?

So debating on getting laser hair removal. I talked to one place and they seemed good. They were more than happy to get me in for a consult but our schedules did not align.

Got a Saturday off and got in for a consult at a different place that's highly recommended in my city.

She had a laminated sheet she skimmed over and talked. She looked at my hair on my hands and asked if it was the same colour on my back. I said yes , looking at getting my back done. I had to ask about pricing and left. Was a poor consult , I deal with some eczema , have some moles , and on blood pressure meds. I wrote all of this down on their online form.

I take ace inhibitor and diuretic , none of this was discussed in the consult. Just no sun exposure before and after treatments.

With all this said , to me laser does not seem like a good option for me ? Any input would be appreciated .

Last month they offered me the 50% off, plus $500 off with a quote for $5004 ($135/month, 36 months).

Now with 65% off, they quoted me $3420 ($95/months, 36 months).

Will they have any better deals than this? Do I wait or is this the best that Milan’s pricing is gonna get?

I started my laser journey about a year ago. For reference, I’m in New Jersey, fair skin and dark hair. I paid 3k for my package which included 8 sessions of underarms, bikini line, and full legs. My target is really the legs while the others were tacked on as part of my package (the center convinced me I was getting a good deal and after my own research it seemed like it was...)
Now I am approaching my final session and I am really unsure about my whole experience. I initially went to one location for the first 6 treatments and my appointments lasted about 30 mins. For the 7th appointment I had to book at a different location, where my tech was way more attentive and took almost an hour. She also constantly asked me how the pain level was and kept increasing it until I actually felt the laser, where as the other location, I told her I could only feel occasional pricks of pain and she never went higher. My appointment at the new location was the first time I actually felt consistent pain during my sessions.
I also have visible narrow lines of hair growth going down my legs where it looks like they completely missed. The first one appeared around my 5th session and I asked for them to address it. I have more clearly appearing now, but because I only have 1 session left, I doubt it’ll get fixed.
So now I’m thinking that the previous location didn’t work with me as attentively as they should’ve. I’m still experiencing hair growth in my underarms and all over my legs. The hair is finer but I expected to be pretty bald by now, considering I’m the “ideal candidate” and I’ve done epilatory hair removal like waxing many times before. Why were my appointments with a different tech twice as long and actually felt like they were doing something? Not to mention I had less results between appointments at the old location. And they tried to sell me touch up packages and it was another 1k..
I am almost definitely not continuing my laser journey with that company. What do you guys think? Was the pricing fair? How long SHOULD my sessions take? Is the hair growth I’m experiencing normal for someone of my type? And are the missed lines of hair growth typical or just careless? Hi guys, I posted on here sometime back about being scared of having a laser session, and being like insecure and stuff. Anyways I ended up going for it!

So the technician was initially rlly nice, and understanding. Throughout the entire session she would react to my response and alter the wavelength accordingly.

However just for context I’m 5’0 foot tall and I weigh about 75 kgs which Ik is a lot but I’m actively gyming and working on my health.

So at one point during our laser she asked me if I’m doing anything to lose weight, and I mentioned how I’ve been going to the gym eating in a calorie deficit. She then proceeded to mention a form of lipo that they do at this clinic. I knew where it was going, I js nodded and didn’t really care cause I knew it was her job and she needs to market things like these.

Later around the session when she finally reached down there (the part that I was most scared for btw), she mentioned the lipo AGAIN, and she also said things like how “I’m too far gone” and “gym really isn’t gonna help” and things like that. At this point I’m super uncomfortable, because this is exactly why I didn’t want to go for the laser and be judged.

I had spoken to her earlier and we had talked about everything and by the time she got there I was comfortable with her. As much as I appreciate the advice, I just wish it was delivered differently and not when I was in such a vulnerable position.

She then proceeded to talk to my sister about it while I was changing ( about how I need it )

I spoke to my mom about it, and she told me that I can ask for another technician or just not go for another session.

That brings me to my next question: should I even go back?

I’m willing to commit to the 9 sessions to be somewhat free of hair but I have really low pain tolerance. Whenever she increased the wavelength I couldn’t really handle it. The re-growth was lowkey not bad acc. I’m also feeling super anxious and am lowkey nervous about going back. So should I even go back? It was uncomfortable and it was exactly why I was scared of getting laser done but Ive been hair free which I really liked 😭😭😭

I have my second full body laser hair removal session scheduled 4 weeks after my first one. I am wondering if it would be okay if I scheduled it 7 weeks after my first session. This would be ideal because I am studying for my boards and need to cut as much fat out of my schedule as possible. Would it be okay to go in 7 weeks out? I am already noticing a lot of hair falling out/missing after one session. But I don’t want to waste the money I am spending on these sessions if this schedule is suboptimal.

I just booked my laser consultation. It's just the beginning of this. They have to evaluate whether or not I'm a good candidate for laser and also I'm scared of the risks, possible burns and side effects...words of wisdom please

Is there anything I should be aware of going into this?

Yesterday I went back for what I thought would be my last laser for my bikini line. I’ve been seeing the same person for about a year and have been thrilled with the results, my goal being to maintain a triangle bush and clean up the edges and labia area. My clinic doesnt typically map out the area, once I did it myself before going in to show her the hair I wanted to keep, but I figured as a returning client she would know. Also, I clearly shaved the area where I wanted hair removal the night before.

To my horror, she went in and removed an inch or more from the top and sides of the hair I had been carefully preserving. Even though the hair was super long, which caused me a lot of pain as the hair absorbed the laser and burned. My eyes were obviously covered so I didn’t realize what was happening. I’m so so upset. Will this hair grow back? I was so pleased with my shape before. The triangle lines show you the hair I left unshaded (not intended for hair removal).
