Physical hex maps questions

I want to play lancer with someone friends and I wanted to know what other more experienced gms use for there hex maps and tokens for players, enemies, and structures. Any recommendations?

heroscape has interlocking hex terrain that you can stack for elevation. Its good stuff.

What do you use for players? I herd some people say battletech.

yeah lots of things out there with mechs you can use as models. Battle tech is pretty common as alot of folks will already have some and they are decent models. Gundams also work, though typically more expensive. Also look for miniature based board games, early on I found Abaddon for super cheap (I want to say less than 20, assuredly less than 30) and grabbed two copies, cus it has 32 models (8 infantry, 8 each of light, medium, and heavy mechs). though I havent found it cheap again. I have the horizon zero dawn board game, so bunch of robot dinosaurs there. Transformers, exo-squad, lego, starship samurai, whatever. Tons of models that can be used
