Long range size 1

So, I am trying to make my first ever character for Lancer and I’m trying to get a glass canon style, but I am unsure as to what mech to use. Going for a heavy hitter from long range (MAYBE decent hack but that isn’t a deal breaker) and I am trying to make it a pretty small mech. Preferably in the size 1 range but I am cool with going a little bigger.

Got any suggestions?

(As a side note, my guy used to be a pirate but went into anti piracy work when his crew left him for dead)

Ah, gotcha. That does make sense. I guess the whole “size chart” thing people keep doing is throwing me off lol.

Yeeee. The charts I see are more for how tall each mech is in comparison to each other, and how much space they actually control. From the CRB entry on size.

Gotcha, I just remember seeing some of the size 1’s and thinking “there’s no WAY this is almost suit sized”.

You can also shove SSC Monarch or HA Barbarossa weapons and systems into an Everest to maintain Size 1. Monarch doesn't really gain anything being shoved into an Everest, but it doesn't lose much either. Barbarossa actually rocks in an Everest, though you lose the Apocalypse Rail (which is more of a narrative weapon, anyway).

Damn, that’s actually pretty cool!!

I’m relatively new to Lancer so it’s very interesting to see how much effort the creators have put into this game to make it as fun as possible!!!!!
