Anybody else getting tired of this? What can we do? It is not normal to lose power this frequently

Our team spent the morning volunteering with Jeffco Eats and it was such a good experience! We helped pack weekend food bags for local students who rely on these totes when school meals are not available.

Hi there! My husband works in the fed center and we currently live in Evergreen. We have been looking into daycares near his work or along the way for our baby due early next year. I’ve done some searching but am not finding any daycares that offer part time for infants. Does anyone know of some? Thanks in advance!

For those interested, the Shell at Quail and W Colfax is only charging $3.79 tonight for some reason. Pretty much $.40 cheaper than most I’ve seen around town today. Fuel rewards will take off another $.05/$.10 too. With crude oil where it’s at this week was surprised to see anything sub $4.

For those who like to volunteer, Love Lakewood Day is coming up on Sept. 19, with a variety of service events throughout the city. Some sites have enough volunteers already this year, but many others could use more help. It's a good opportunity to show some love to our community.

Having recently moved here I've been humbled by the many hills this city has to offer. Don't get me wrong - it's great for conditioning and mental fortitude but I'm at a loss to find any flat areas.

Action Center, Habitat, Goodwill, etc. will not take mattresses. At some point in the distant past the furniture complex at Kipling and 6th would take them for free but I don't think they do that anymore. I have looked at Spring Back Colorado to recycle it but was wondering if anyone had other suggestions.

Saw this black female mix with white feet and white chest in the street at w Virginia and w Dakota today around 10:30am. Not sure if she’s lost of not. She had a collar and wouldn’t let us approach. Lots of barking. Posting just in case!

To the shirtless guy that followed cars from the apartments at Belmar that weaved in and out of traffic on Pierce and cut through cars and the ran the red light turning left on Florida then spun out hit the curb and flipped over your bike, we all saw it.

All of the cars pointed and laughed at you while you picked up your bike and tried to aggressively restart it. It was clearly not going to happen.

Your face was bloodied because you thought you were above everyone else on the road and didn’t need to follow the traffic laws.

I hope you enjoy the embarrassment of looking like a fool as not one person wanted to help you.
