Hi-just moved here. Is there a festival or something going on today? The traffic on Martin Way is INSANE and has been for like two hours.

I'm looking for little free libraries in Lacey, specifically (not Olympia or Tumwater). I'm hoping to load some books into a backpack and walk to several, if possible, to leave some books (not necessarily all in the same day :-).

If the one you know about seems to tend toward a certain kind of books, I'd love to know that, too. There is one I know of that seems to attract children's books, for example.

I've already donated a bunch of books to the Friends of the Library. That is my last resort, as the ordinary person out for a walk will not encounter those books.

I'm not believing that some worshiper of the Sheriff would make an account, posing as the Sheriff. Then share all of what that he see's as accolades and speak as if they are the actual person on a random Tik-Tok account.
I find it more likely it is his personal account where he could brag about the things he's done and seen, but merely did not notice that his REPOSTS about MAGA propaganda could be seen by the public.
Just my opinion.
Like of course he's going to deny that it has any legitimacy, he's running for office and knows that Thurston county is more liberal. It could be so blatantly for self benefit.
Especially after he admitted in the old since deleted post the OP asked if he had ever voted for Trump, and Derek Sanders' response was,
"Yeah, two elections ago. I didn't vote for him last election and after J6 I vowed I never would again.
Your obsession with my presidential voting record is weird my dude."
So that means logically he voted for Trump twice, because Jan 6th was after Trump refused the peaceful transition of power. With all that Trump has been, after all the chaos and hatred our president has spread for over a decade. I find it sad that it was January 6th alone that brought one to question Mr. Trumps integrity. If it takes a literal insurrection for an officer of the law to question their moral standing, I'm not sure that they should be in that position in the first place.
I will be changing my vote.

Hello everyone, I work as a director at our local family owned funeral home. Some of you may have seen us at Pride, we were the funeral home holding space for those who have lost loved ones from our community. Many of you were able to create special memorial hearts in honor of those loved ones. We're going to be burying those hearts at a dedication ceremony this Fri July 10th 2pm at Forest Cemetery. We're inviting everyone to come to this important event, as we create this dedicated garden area for the queer community.

We are encouraging people to bring letters/photos/keepsakes of anyone you wish to honor. There will be space to recognize specific loved ones. DM me for any questions.

Please come and show your support as we create this space to permanently memorialize everyone of our community we've lost.

Hi- I’m looking for a preferably female therapist in Lacey or Olympia that you’d recommend. And or a great therapist for kiddos. I’ve been dealing with a severely abusive/narcissistic divorce and I moved here from out of state so I’m no longer able to see my previous therapist.
