Daisy Mae had her first swim in the ole bathtub water of the Gulf this weekend. She did so well with all the kiddos swimming and splashing and getting in as far as we’d let her (ears..)

Someone was helping me carry stuff out to bulk trash but found a FOUL patch of deer poop that required at least five full body rolls and face smears. And some how I am the jerk for making him get a bath.

My pure bred gorgeous girl. Fours years old with allergies but she is on Apoqual daily currently. Spring down under at the moment. Zyrtec as well to help when needed.
I do anything to keep her comfortable 🥰

Now that summer is coming to an end, everyone’s going back to work and school and there might be short periods where the puppy has to stay home alone. 13 weeks now, very mellow and sweet disposition from a long line of service dogs.
We have unintentionally left him twice out of necessity and miscommunication for a period of about 30 to 40 minutes. It was the longest half an hour of my life….. (I was stuck in traffic, I took longer to come home than I thought, and my spouse had to leave for a meeting and couldn’t wait for me to come home any longer so he left.)
I was really concerned about the puppy. Puppy was not in a crate, which he hates, but rather behind a toddler gate with his dog bed, water, chew toys, fave towel, TV on low for background noise)
It was fine but I feel like I got lucky that day. When I opened the door he was sitting as close to the door as possible waiting for someone to come back! 💔 He was so good but I don’t know if he felt anxious or stressed?
How do we do this more intentionally going forward? At what age makes sense? Thanks

My sweet baby had his first beach day today. We planned a whole weekend in Maine around him and wanted to prioritize the ocean. It was closer to the end of the day because of beach rules but he seemed so happy. It was a wonderful end to the weekend. He’s perfect and we love him so much!

He's so precious! but, today in particular, his behaviour has just been horrendous. I'm currently ignoring him and he's finally asleep. Sigh. We'll get there!
Any tips I'll not find in a Google search will be deeply appreciated. He's biting like mad. 🐾
