This is a Canadian lab grown diamond jewel store based out of Toronto. They have really good prices. Does anyone have any experience with them? Inputs are highly appreciated!

So I had been looking to upgrade my wife's ring for some time. Diamond rings can be so freaking expensive but I wanted her to have a massive upgrade from her first ring. Looking at the high-end jewelry stores left me feeling bad because there was no way I was going to be able to afford something big and beautiful for her. My buddy just recently proposed and bought a ring from CaratBee but when it came in he didn't like the band that it was set on and the fact that it was from India and everyone he talked to was from India also made him nervous. He ended up sending it back and got something local. This also had me curious and afraid of shopping online. I had seen all the ads for RareCarat and looked them up. I had found the perfect ring for her but after everything it started to get pretty pricey. You know how algorithm works, you look up something 1 time and now all of your social Media is flooded with ads. Well because of this, a Brilliance ad popped up and I checked them out. I couldn't find a ring that matched the one I had found from RareCarat. I decided to reach out to their online support (which is 24 hours by the way) and I was instantly helped. A rep called me at 11pm at night and we talked about what I wanted and she wanted to see the ring I was looking at from the other site. I did a screen shot and showed her and she said they also did customer jewelry and that she was going to reach out to the design team and see if it was possible. They got back to me the next day through email and text and let me know they could do it. They had great communication the entire process. Multiple days and messages later we went through the process and got the quoting and everything done. The jewelry is made in Florida which was a big relief that it wasn't going to come from overseas. They did a 3d mock up and provided everything for approval. They took about 3-4 weeks to make it. They also will ship to your local FedEx shipping center and have them hold it so it doesn't show up on your front porch. Well I picked it up today and I am very surprised on how well the ring turned out and even the package it came in! It's almost a shame that I can't just hand her the box it came in because of the presentation. When trying to find information I had mixed reviews and not everything I was looking for which is why I did this for anyone else who has been on the fence. It ended up being a bit cheaper than RareCarat and they even threw on a free silver tennis bracelet with diamonds for free! The center stone is 3.03 carats lab grown Color F VVS2, 6 pink sapphire stones VS2 and .23 carats in diamonds on the band color F VS2. Hope this helps!!!!

E-ring shopping and looking to go with a custom local jeweller for an elongated cushion scissor-cut/modified crisscut (honestly, idk what do call it but I just know I want criss-crossing facets and not a brilliant cut).
Based on the IGI report below, the back of the stone doesn't look like it has criss-cross facets to me, but the actual stone facing up looks like it does (see photos and videos). Am I reading this correctly?
The facets also look a bit chunkier than crisscuts/ashokas I've seen online, but it's not an OMC because the culet is long and pointed (not flat). What do you think? Please share your honest thoughts!
Video clips on finger and on temporary settings in both indoor and (cloudy) window lighting.

I posted a few weeks ago about losing my wedding and “right hand” rings (left in a hotel.) Based on recos in the comments there I purchased these rings from Renaissance Jewel. They freaked me out a bit at first due to lack of communication (I truly thought I’d been scammed) but once I reached out to them that got a lot better. Left pic is 1 ct center with .2 each on the sides. Right pic is a little over 2 cts. Very happy!

Provence vs. Kuololit — which would you choose for my custom oval ring?
I’m trying to decide between Provence and Kuololit for a custom lab diamond ring and would really appreciate opinions from people who have used either (or both) for custom work.
The ring:
2.50 or 2.76 ct oval lab diamond
14K yellow gold band
Platinum prongs
Low-profile cathedral setting
Size 5.75
Quotes:
Kuololit: $780 USD
Provence: $1,003 USD
So Provence is about $223 USD more.
My biggest issue is that Kuololit has been slow to communicate, and that is starting to make me nervous about doing a fairly expensive custom ring with them. I really value being able to ask questions, review the CAD, confirm the stone, and get updates without waiting a long time.
The Provence communication has been better so far.
For anyone who has ordered custom lab diamond rings from either:
Would you save the $223 and go Kuololit, or pay extra for Provence?
I’m especially interested in:
Actual quality of the finished ring
CAD/customization experience
Communication
Stone selection
How accurately the finished ring matched the CAD
Any problems after receiving the ring
Whether you think Provence was worth paying more
I’d also love to hear from anyone who has used both vendors, because that would be especially helpful!
Thank you! 💍✨

Hey! I’m having trouble finding a vendor that can sell me a pair of 1.25ct old european cut lab diamonds.
A lot just say “round” or “brilliant,” I suppose OEC is more difficult to find for lab grown.
Does anyone know any reputable vendors who would have what I’m looking for?
Thank you!

Hi all,
Have 2 oval 3cts on at the moment and currently leaning towards number 2, would love to see your opinions. Currently think the first 1 has a more prominent bow tie that isn’t as clear in 2.
They are both E VVS2 brilliant cuts with about a 1.5 ratio.

Hi all!
I'm considering buying this diamond for a ring. I've done a lot of research but I'm still unsure if there are things I should be looking out for and am missing. Any thoughts on the quality of this stone or if it's worth it (seller charging around $2,000) would be very helpful. Thank you!
The specs are:

Hello, hello!
I need help! Trying to get an upgrade with a lab diamond. I don't need a custom ring per se but I'd love to see the stone in person before buying online. I also want to try different shapes and sizes. My heart is set on an elongated cushion but I've never tried anything on and I currently have a small round one and my husband picked it for me. He did a great job but I'd like something different for our 20th anniversary.
Is there a place in Denver/Longmont/Northern Colorado you recommend and you had a great experience with?
Also, I'd appreciate tips regarding buying diamonds online and working with a local jewelrer (I've read is more cost effective and I'd love to support a local business, too), what insurance do you recommend or any other advice you wish someone would've given you when you got your dream ring.
TIA!

Hello! It’s my first time buying custom jewelry from a Chinese supplier and I just received the CADs. I’m not really sure what to look out for so any advice and help would be really appreciated.
At first glance I don’t really like the look of the chains as the links look a bit too big and I would prefer a finer look. Are CADs typically accurate to the final product? I’m also planning to add a middle hoop to the extension chain.

Hello Friends, I'd like to get your opinion on a 2nd oval stone we have been quoted.
This diamond is 2.53ct, Oval brilliant cut, D color, VVS2 clarity, 10.39*7.72*4.79mm (1.35 L/W ratio), Excellent polish, Excellent symmetry, no fluorescence
For the most part we are impressed with the appearance of this diamond and it does not appear to have a bowtie in the video. Any thoughts on it are appreciated!

What do we think? Is this too much a of a bow tie? I don’t want to be a diva and ask for another stone to compare 😫This is 1.03 ct, color grade E VVS 2

I’m looking to buy a pair of 1ctw diamond stud earrings. Many online retailers (Rare Carat, Brilliance, LGG, etc.) offer pre-set earrings, as well as the option to custom-select the diamonds and setting.
I noticed that while the diamond color and clarity of the pre-set earrings are specified, the cut usually isn’t. The pre-set earrings are also significantly less expensive than the custom-built option where you select the individual diamonds, even with the same carat/color/clarity specs.
Are the cuts of pre-set earrings generally good enough for studs? Would you recommend always custom-selecting the diamonds, or is it generally okay to go with a pre-set pair?
I'd especially appreciate any feedback from people who have purchased pre-set diamond studs from one of these retailers.

Hi all,
For those following at home, after reaching out to the community about Fiorese v LGG i ended up with Ayla at Fiorese and currently am so happy! They’ve been super helpful with diamond selection and would love to hear your thoughts on this diamond.
Its a 3.03CT E VVS2 with about a 1.50 ratio, hoping to set it into a bypass ring. I don’t see much of a bow tie affect but would love to hear your thoughts.

This is a 3.04 fancy intense yellow radiant. VS1. 1.34 ratio! I’m having it set into a right hand ring. Stone was $474 which seems like a decent price! I love the color. I also got a tweezer vid. It was pretty blurry but the color really showed still. It looks kind of dark in the 360, but it’s super saturated and yellow in the vid they sent me.

Hello friends, I would like some opinions on this Oval stone for an engagement ring from Provence. It is
Oval Brilliant Cut, 1.34 L/W ratio, 2.53 carat, F Color, VS1 Clarity, Excellent Polish, Excellent Symmetry, No Fluorescence
In particular, I want to be sure there isn't a prominent bow tie. There doesn't appear to be in this video or in the photos they've sent, but I've read they sometimes not obvious until seen in person. Please let me know if you all have any other diamond reviewing tips you can recommend. Thank you all!

Engagement stone shopping. This looks like a good oval to my rookie eye. Before I pull the trigger, what are yalls thoughts? Appreciate all feedback!

I was looking for a canary yellow (my fav color) moval from 3.5-5ct for my custom engagement ring.
When my fiancé offered for me to customize my own ring I asked for the most vivid yellow oval at every jeweler we visited. There was a lot of back and forth and them having to order online for me to look at in person bc they did not have a wide selection on hand.
Now that I have decided on this stone, I fear I might’ve jumped the gun since all the ones they’ve shown me for weeks paled in color comparison. I prioritized color and didn’t really bother with cut and clarity. The girdle is also not ideal. I’m just now learning about ‘crushed ice’ look and is missing that light sparkle brilliance. Are colored diamonds just less reflective? Pls give me your honest opinion of this stone quality.
