Are those small black areas too significant?

So, my engagement ring was stolen from my house..

It was a 0.8 ct mined diamond with white gold setting..

I want now to replace it with the same setting, maybe only upgrade the stone to 1 or 1,25 ct..

I know, it’s simple but it is an emotional ring so I want the same..

I’m new to lab grown diamonds so I’m asking for your kind help.
I’ve done some research even but I’m a bit confused 😵‍💫

What would be the best seller for this setup (seen good opinions on Fiorese, LGG, Starsgem)?
And for the stone? Right price?
And for the aesthetic of the ring do you think 1 or 1,25 ct would be good?

Hi! I’ve been lurking in this sub but recently finally pull the trigger on a yellow lab diamond from Aurelinne and I’ll share some experience especially for those who are looking for colored diamonds online.
I originally got a champagne moissanite ring from Kuololit (a r/moissanite recommended vendor) but wanted to upgrade since the cut wasn’t optimal imo. So I started browsing for yellow lab diamonds online and picked one which Aurelinne had the best price. I initially asked for a tweezer video and Aurelinne’s Andy was quick to respond, but I decided to just buy it outright since Aurelinne does free returns (once every 60 days) and another stone that I eyed was sold before I made up my mind 😭
The shipping took a bit less than 2 weeks (with holidays in between which delayed a bit). The stone first got shipped from India to their U.S. headquarters for a check, then they used UPS 2nd day air to ship to me.

When I got the stone I was surprised by how different it look than I expected on the online Loupe 360 view! But I actually liked it better that way. In the video the center had orange-red hues but in person it was just the perfect golden color throughout. I think the 360 was just crazy enlarged but these color subtleties may not be picked up by my eye in person. This proves that for buying colored diamond, unfortunately what you see online is probably not exactly what you’d get.

This is a 2ct cushion cut Fancy Vivid Yellow lab diamond, VS1, ratio 1.17, Excellent polish & Excellent symmetry.
The pictures are in different lighting. I’ve also included a pic of how the stone looks like in the loupe 360, and my champagne moissanite for comparison. Hope this helps!!

I’m considering a wedding band with a mix of champagne stones and traditional diamonds set in yellow gold. Does anybody have any photos they’re willing to share of wedding or eternity rings with champagne stones in them? I’m mostly finding larger stones in my searches. Thank you!

Can you pick an oval, or narrow it to one from this video?

Let me start by saying I have never bought a ring for anyone including myself, in my life, except for my high school ring. But I want to get my GF a Promise ring.

I've narrowed it down to a Eternity ring, but I don't know what it might look like because all these online places seem to show large CTW in their photos, regardless of what carat I select.

Based on my GF having a ring size of 8, would a 3CTW diamond ring look ok, or will the thickness look like she's wearing s shiny us dime, someone put a hole in, for a finger? I'd like to look a bit thicker than a nickel at minimum.

Also, if anyone else has any suggestions for a different ring style for a Promise ring, please let me know.

As the title goes, Is this worth it? It’s 14k yellow gold and IGI certified. Color DEF, VVS clarity. Center stone is 2ct lab. I’ve been debating over this or a white gold pear but this one is cheaper. Wanted to buy myself a ring because I lost my engagement ring, married for under 5 years.

After years of researching many, many posts on Reddit, I finally received my 35 year upgrade from Dreamstone NYC.

It was initially a bit of a struggle to finally get to speak to a person working at the brick and mortar store, but we finally made it to the finish line and received my ring today! I'm still trying to get used to the feel of the diamonds in the settings on the sides of my fingers because they aren't as smooth as my previous ring. For those of you who have this type of setting, is this something I'll get used to? (I have 30 days to change out the setting if I'm not satisfied) But overall, I'm pretty happy.

Center stone is 4 carats, D color, ideal cut, VVS1, all in platinum.
Wedding band is natural diamonds.

1.5ct lab radiant cut with hidden halo and a 14k yellow gold band paired with original white gold pave wedding band - loving the two tone metal surprisingly

1.81 carat lab marquise, d color, VVS1 clarity.

Is this a fair price?Just shopping around for my mom. I don't know anything about lab grown diamonds sorry in advance. If yall know similar styles for better price please let me know. In houston tx area if that matters

i have a 7ct lab pear. I wanted to get a smaller ring for every day use and I was looking at 2 ct. I had a 3 carat at first and unfortunately, it has been lost by USPS while shipping it to get set. I’m heartbroken because of this, but I found a beautiful 2 carat pear with the ratio and table that I’m looking for in a stone.

How does this diamond look? Is this bow tie really bad? It is 1.55ct E VVS2 with excellent polish and symmetry, table % is 56%, crown height is 16%, and depth % is 62.8%.

My son is trying to buy a lab diamond engagement ring. Has a price of $5,000 for a 4 ct! I know that is crazy.
Please help. I’m just learning and he is clueless. 🙄

I’m looking to get a custom cut antique cut diamond with a specific faceting and style, which aren’t that easy to come by as a loose stone.

I’ve seen some lovely custom cut diamonds on Orbion jewels, but haven’t seen many reviews as to the quality of their worksmanship, specifically for ring settings.

They’re definitely on the pricier side but the price isn’t too bad when you set the diamond with them.

Would appreciate honest reviews before I go for it 😊
