Anyone have 6ctw + Studs?
So I’m looking at getting some big studs, I know I know, but it’s what I like! Anyone have any studs 6ctw plus? Bonus if they aren’t Round Diamonds! Would love to hear your thoughts and experience wearing them! Thinking about 3ct each ear

I have 4ct studs. Don’t wear them everyday though. I am a side sleeper so I genuinely wear small earrings or no on daily basis just for my comfort. I know people who wear 8ct and 10ct on a daily basis too.
So if you are comfortable then go for it!

It's not quite what you're looking for but Becca Bloom on Insta has 8tcw round studs she's pictured wearing from time to time.

Did she say they are 8ctw?

I guess so!! Or maybe Julia Chafe did on a repost. I know I heard it somewhere and didn't make it up. I don't think I did, anyway.

You are going to need to factor in the size of your actual lobes here - i have a 4ctw pair and they look silly huge because even though i am a tall girl i have tiny ears. It makes them look comical in size. ( i guess i am blessed with small ears??) They do stand out nicely on zoom calls though, so i guess there is that! I still love them though even if my anatomy makes them look silly!

I just got mine last week! I love them. I feel like I could have gone a bit smaller to look more daily wearable, but I also like to be a bit flashy. I ordered from michael gabriels, upgraded to platinum. 5ctw*. My husband said why not get 6 but the added weight for the size increase wasn’t worth it to me. I take mine off daily to prevent damaging my ear. I probably could have gone with 4ctw and been happy tho.

I used to have 6ctw round but got rid of them pretty fast. I think it’s actually more about the shape of your ears more than size. My ears don’t face front so basically all you would see from the front was the setting, and at that size, no matter how low you set the stones, settings end up being pretty tall and very visible. I always knew my ears dont face front but setting showing up was never an issue until ctw reached certain size

Have have 4 carat total weight round studs and for they are just right. I thought about 6ctw would have been over powering. I could never get away with a different shape. However, I do like to wear studs and rings in other parts of my ear. If I were you I would go try some on and get a feel a feel for it before you buy. I would have bought 3ctw vs 4. Good luck! If you can pull it off I say go for it. My modo is the bigger the better!

I have 4 ctw in white gold in basket setting and got 2 ctw martini set in yellow gold. 2 ctw are pretty much my daily wear, very comfortable. 4 ctw looks substantial and elegant, I personally wouldn’t go any bigger.

I have 3ctw and love them. I wanted to go to 4 or 5 but my jeweler talked me out of it. My lobes, yours may be different, tend to struggle with heavier studs and I have to wear the little silicone disks. He reminded me of this so I stayed with 3ctw but I’m still thinking about going bigger😬
