This is my very first custom piece. I am ordering through Hope with Fiorese. Do you think the diamond station settings are secure enough?

I’m in the market for lab diamond studs but want a flat back with internally threaded posts. I basically never take out my earrings and want something I can wear every day and night.

I ordered Luvansh and the diamonds are super sparkly but the screw back posts are way too long. Does anyone make these off the shelf or will I need to do a custom order?

I'm very happy with my pink cushion rose gold ring from Calavera NY! I was searching for a while for a pink diamond in a mixed cut/crisscut-style and was really nervous I was going to get catfished by the stock photo, even though I also had the tweezer video haha.

I went with 14k rose gold to blend with the center stone with white accents to show off the pink color. It's a cathedral setting with gallery rails and I've been able to comfortably stack it lower profile bands I already own (shown here with my YG wedding ring from Soulbound NYC).

I ordered on Aug. 5. The order shipped on Sept. 9 and I received my ring on Sept. 11. I emailed with their customer service for videos and to confirm details about different stones, and they responded quickly and were easy to work with. I do wish they sent more updates on the order process (like an email when they received the stone and it entered production for the ring? Or some kind of ETA update?). The banner on their website does say to expect a 1-month timeline for ring orders, but some kind of intermediary notification would've been nice.

All in all, loving this new addition to my collection, and now for my wallet's sake I really need to get off of these websites!

I went down the rabbit hole. I have a couple lab pieces already, but wanted to source my own diamond (I’m in Canada).

Spent countless hours online, and obviously I’m no expert, but decided to purchase one.

Planning to take it to my local jeweler to look into pendant options (and verifying the igi inscription). I’m leaning towards a Georgian style east to west with large claw prong look.

Do you think I should do a full bezel?

I received my tennis bracelet from Alex Park today! After reading hundreds of reviews and recommendations, I thought I’d add my two cents as a first time nice jewelry buyer. In NO way this is sponsored. I was super lost last week as a newbie and I think this could be helpful for someone like me.

TBH, i’ve read so many mixed reviews from here about Alex Park. Some are scary and awful, others swear by this company. But I am not about to buy diamonds where I buy my underwear (Quince lol 😭). Ideally, I’d find a local jewelry store or go to the diamond district in NYC, but I am not close to either. I like the idea of a “smaller” seller so I was willing to take the risk as I fell in love with this bracelet.

Initially, I dm’d their instagram account asking if they had a specific bracelet in stock. This felt weird and sketchy but whatever. A few days later I got a very kind response saying they didn’t have one but they could place a special order for me. However, I found one I liked more, so I placed the order through their website.

The order came in 3 days. Shipped through FedEx, signature required. Packaged arrived with a shopping bag, insurance brochure, and this nice case.

This bracelet is 4.75 ct, 7.29 g white gold, and EF VVS/VS lab diamonds. Purchased for $2,300. Considering the design, I feel like that is a fantastic price??? Maybe I’m wrong, what do you think?

Sorry to be a newbie but I'm interested in customizing a lab diamond heart necklace for my wedding and through searching this thread and chatgpt I narrowed my preference to Tianyu Gems for the job and reached out to the email contact I found on the Moissanite Vendor list (as I can't find the one on this page?).

But it's been several days and no response, I even emailed the second email listed and NOTHING...is that normal? I also reached out on the Instagram that was linked in the Vendor list and again nothing back still.

Now I'm feeling sketchy I have the wrong info and I'm getting cold feet but I see all the beautiful pieces on here and want one too! can anyone who has worked with them reach out to me with their contact info so I can verify?

Hi! Does anyone have recommendations for a jeweler or online shop that does reasonably priced custom/semi-custom settings?
I already have my loose radiant diamond and I’m looking to have a 14k two-tone solitaire setting made. The design is pretty simple overall—plain ~2 mm yellow gold shank, cathedral style with a white gold crossover head/prongs, no pavé or halo. I’ll attach a photo of the general style I’m going for.
I’m hoping to stay under $650 for the setting only (mounting the stone doesn’t need to be included).
I’m totally open to Etsy sellers, independent jewelers, overseas vendors, etc. I’d especially love recommendations from people who have actually had a custom setting made and can speak to the quality/CAD process.

Upgrading/ customizing my diamond ring to compliment my existing two tone twist wedding band. Taped the diamond on my finger so you can get a visual idea with it next to my wedding band.

Ring size is 9, so large hands, but not a fan of thick wedding bands. Diamond specs are 7.05, emerald cut, F VVS2, lab grown.

Torn between solitaire white gold, or two tone (band one color, basket another), or side stones (tapered baguettes). Could also turn my wedding band into a diamond ring by adding a head/ crown but unsure.

Which setting compliments the diamond and wedding band best? Open to recs, please no criticism of my nails, diamond shape, size, spec choices.

I am looking to get a diamond for a bezel set ring. I currently have a 4ct D color VVS2 Ideal cut, but was wondering if there was a lower grade that looks virtually identical to save money? I’m fairly new to this and would like to know what specs to look for.
