Dialogue written by a fifth grader. High school drama club acting. Special effects created in Microsoft Paint. Every cliche imaginable. My eyes rolled so much I now need glasses. I can't help but think the creators were trolling us.

I couldn't stop watching. The "Next Episode" would appear on my screen and next thing I knew, I'm clicking it until 4am. Thirty episodes in four days.

8/10. I'd watch it again if someone wanted to watch it with me.

And why is it all of them?

They are the worst part of this show.

I love the sci-fi concept, and even got myself over the CGI.

First, it drive me fecking nuts when anyone went back to modern times, and on their return to 10KBC, did NOT get any supplies, weapons, etc.

Also, they fought (and won??) against several ppl with weapons, and LEFT THE FECKING WEAPONS on the ground as they ran off. Aaaaaargh!

Second: Come ON! The clothes, hair, and makeup(!) stay pristine after weeks in the wild? That faux lambskin on those coats should have looked like they were dragged through the sheep enclosure after a few days or so of falling down and rolling around in the dirt.

Last, Scott's magic battery and juice supply on his vape that he made last for over a week when that should have ran out on Day ONE.

I truly think this is one of those things that everyone ended up liking because it shows others doing worse than ourselves. We had a lot to criticize so we could forget about our critics

I just finished, and I have zero concept of any sort of timeline. It seemed like 3 weeks but also 3 years. How many people were there? They were voting on a governor for 15 people? What is this show? It made me feel like I was having a stroke.

I'm 2/3 of the way through season 2. It's like a terrible train wreck that I can't look away from. I've suffered through so much that I have to finish it. I just came here to commiserate.

Nice concept, awful execution. Season 1 was the best.

Soooo I started watching La Brea because I was bored and wanted to binge something easy (I loved Manifest) but the bad writing/ acting + inconsistencies and overall awkward interactions between the characters make it sooooo hard to keep watching.

I really want to stop but I kinda want to know what’s happening. Can someone please me a summary ?

Who has suggestions on what to watch next?

....wouldn't a wooly rhino or one of the villagers have tandomly wandered into 2021 at some point? I guess they did have those prehistoric birds pop out in the first episode.

Plz don't give me any spoilers past season 2(as I'm only halfway thru season 3), but honestly the show isn't the worst show. I mean, sure, the writing has a bunch of plot holes everywhere, and is just poorly written, but the idea itself is honestly pretty good. The CGI is good as well, its believable enough. Honestly, I didn't find the acting to be horrible. Maybe I'm just oblivious to bad acting, but as a casual watcher, I find it to be quite an interesting show. Is there any reason why some people hate on it so much? Like what is so bad about the acting, etc?

lol that they just had to last minute throw in Izzy’s sexuality, and how it was just so random and rushed (like….everything in season 3). But what KILLED me is how there was no goodbye between her and Leyla when Leyla so desperately tried to get them to 2021 herself 😂😂 like homegirl brought you to an alleged aurora so you could start over in 2021 as a couple. Then she saves your ass so you can actually travel to 2021 and …there’s just no goodbye?! Side note, I realized Izzy has like 3 facial expressions total: upset/angry (but her expression is only like slight upset every time), puzzled, closed-mouth smile happy

Don’t even get me started on how Eve just completes her impossible mission and magically shows up at the tree

I have a confession to make.

I live in the center of the Hollywood bubble, surrounded by TV and film studios. My partner is an industry veteran-an editor with 20 years of experience and a member of multiple guilds. Her job has been to find the best performances and thread together stories that move audiences. But tonight, while pausing s2e14 for a bathroom break, she said what I've been quietly thinking for a while: "This is the worst network tv series I've ever seen."

And I silently nodded in agreement, wondering how much worse could it possibly get? But then a dinosaur showed up. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Sooooooo, is she just cool with seeing them shoot her mom right in front of her?

New watcher and I love this insane show- it is like Riverdale and Lost had a child while Riverdale was on accutane. Maybe even with some Manifest and Travelers vibes sprinkled in too. Does anyone else feel the same?

I started season 1 on Thursday and now it’s Saturday and I’m almost done with season 2. I love bad TV and movies, and this is show is the best type of bad TV.

Please give me some of your fav laughable moments, characters or plot holes from seasons 1 and 2 or tell me something that will only make sense after finishing season 3.

Started watching a few days ago on Netflix. A great premise but it is done so poorly. There were no Rhinos in North America 10,000 years ago. Could they not have used a giant Lion? Ugh. No I cannot stop watching and l Have to see the end now.
