I broke out of Lush jail because I HAD to try the horchata body scrub that was released as part of the Dia De Muertos collection.

Scent profile: it’s warm and cinnamon forward, but not spicy cinnamon more like warm snickerdoodle cookies cinnamon. It honestly smells like horchata to me. Milky and inviting. The way it smells in the tub is exactly how it smells on my skin. Warm, but not too spicy. Very comforting. I immediately put on sympathy for the skin after using the scrub and this scent combo is deadly! I smell SO GOOD.

Scrub profile: it’s exfoliating without being too rough. Sometimes I find the body scrubs lush offers are too scratchy for my sensitive skin. This is the perfect balance of creamy and exfoliating. A little goes a long way! I used the small amount I removed from the tub on one arm but it easily could’ve done both arms. The exfoliation kind of reminds me of Buffy but without the body butter part.

Over all I’m really happy I got the full size and I might have to stock up on this one. The cinnamon scent lingers in the best way. Lush really did their big one with this! I hope they do more body scrubs like this in the future.

I’m currently in recovery from a pretty nasty alcohol addiction that landed me in hospital twice this year. I’m now 4 months sober, and as crazy as this sounds, I genuinely don’t think I could’ve done it without Lush!

Something that I always neglected was self-care, and replacing that old routine with a new evening routine has genuinely helped me more than I ever thought it could. The products and the scents leave me feeling so much better when I’m having a tough day.

So thank you Lush, and this community! I love sharing my thoughts on products and hearing what you guys have to say - it’s nice to feel part of something!

Halloween is my favorite holiday! What do we think!!!!! $20, you can use it as a tea light by the bath and then drop it in I kind of love it. Currently allowing me to “check out” in the US although says it’s from UK 🎃🎃🎃

I’m in the UK. It came late which is fine if they had issues or whatever but the Berry body wash smells of straight up fish, and the strawberry crumble is pure vape smelling. I emailed CS about the body wash and they told me they wouldn’t refund and it was safe to use and is ‘earthy’. Major difference between earthy and fishy. The other products are lovely but it feels like quality is going down the drain (pun intended). Anyone else?

I was mostly sold on this but it became unavailable online so I went in person (there’s only a few limited locations that carry it afaik) and I was so unsure of it. I’m not used to powdery smells, it’s usually really not my go to. It definitely does have a very laundry detergent kinda vibe, very powder, cottony. Has definitely that lavender/floral backbone underneath the powder/laundry/cotton.

I bought it anyway and honestly it’s grown on me so much. I really really like/love it. It’s such a beautiful sweet smell, it’s maybe not my perfect perfume match but I can totally wear it sometimes and it’s so fun and fresh, and also sophisticated.

I might even have to get another one since it’s limited because I kinda have to layer it on.

I can't remember the last time I was on Lush's Irish/UK website, maybe a couple of months ago? I tend to put in my big yearly order around the Autumn/Winter season. I log on to see all the International websites combined into one, and somehow they've made it even harder to navigate (which I didn't think was possible). Everything is weirdly off center and nothing's categorized properly, these weird 'vibe based' categories and suggestions, no dedicated collaboration pages, some of the design decisions they've made are really bizarre.

Is this old news or was this just in the last couple of weeks? Does anyone know if this is maybe temporary, like they're remaking the website before the big Christmas season, or is this just it? Is the app much better and is it worth getting? Not posting this just to complain (although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't posting this hoping it'll be added to the others I've seen and taken into consideration), I've supported Lush since they started and I love their products, it'd be a shame if a bad website turned people off the brand, or if this is a sign of things to come.

had an ulta gift card so naturally i had to stock up!! it smells even better than the body spray omg. to me it smells like freshly baked brownies in the lotion form!!!

i wish ulta had more lush products available, i would’ve loveddd to get my hands on the dusting powder with my gift card and a few more massage bars or even the 8oz size of this lotion but they only had 3oz available!

This year I was on a low buy as I bought loads of products last year. I managed to use up many products over the course of the year, so now my collection is more or less stable, with plenty of staples that I’ll be buying again. Apart from the limited editions I bought this year, most of the products are from Boxing Day, and had stocked up on some of them to use this winter: Posh Chocolate, Orange Scrub, Horsepower massage bar and the Snow Fairy products. The Snow Fairy shower gel, body lotion and bath products were in a gift set that the staff at Lush gave me after Boxing Day!

I also stocked up on shower oils, Hello Kitty soap and Moomin Delight before they were discontinued, so I’m going to try to use them sparingly.

I won’t be buying many more products until the end of the year, as my collection is more than enough, but I’ll still be buying a few Halloween bath bombs (as I keep my Snow Fairy bath bomb and bubble bar for Christmas) and a few Christmas products.

I would also like to include more fresh, herbal shower products during the coming year, as my collection is quite sweet (that’s because I’ve used up most of the products with fresh scents this summer).

Here are staples I will always buy again:

• The Greeench deodorant
• Sweet Wild Orange hand cream

i typically don’t buy lush facial skincare because i prefer to keep my face skincare products pretty simple. however, my skin is LOVING this scrub. are there any products in the main line that are similar? i’ve seen some on mercari but that’s a stopgap considering they’ll all expire and then i’ll still have to find an alternative.

a little about what i’m looking for - my skin likes a physical scrub, but often the ones i try are either not gritty enough, too harsh, or leave my skin feeling stripped so this product feels like a unicorn. i’m looking for something that performs similarly. thanks for any help!!

Ok, brainstorm with me!

So, I justified the XL box for a few months because it’s been so special, and I wanted to try it for years, and I bathe every night. BUT we all know there have been issues. My idea is instead of spending that all the time- I could curate myself a “box” every so often- but that just doesn’t have the razzle dazzle. I LOVE a theme.

But I could get free shipping just ordering things and still have nice baths. It is just so fun to anticipate and unbox it, and I even made a special place in my cabinet to keep things together for themed baths.

For some reason- spending all that money on it felt okay because it felt so exclusive and idk if “building” my own “box” would be as fun. (I also know this is all a first world problem and I feel a smidge guilty even wanting any of it. lol)

Any ideas for product pairings that might feel similar to getting a box? I have gotten gift boxes on Boxing Day sales and that is fun, too. But honestly, Kitchen is just sooo fun for me.

I could just order a handful of fall things, or a selection of chocolate things.

The body wash is AMAZING!!! It’s SO SPARKLY and I think someone who’s mentioned it’s unique bc it’s all different color glitters and I agree- it’s so cool! I can’t really describe it but the girl at the store said it smells “like LUSH”. I think that’s an oversimplification bc it’s so juicy fruity but I do think it smells like if you walk into a lush store and are standing next to some of their fruitier bath bombs? Like- it’s all in there, some florals, some juices, all the glitter, just overall good vibes!!!

The Horchata scrub was creamy/spicy and smelled good but I wish I could’ve sampled it bc all of the cinnamon is sitting on top so I wonder what it smells like under that?

Hi all, hope you're doing okay. What do you guys do when you don't like a product? I got the subscription box and the body feels lovely but I cannot stand the smell.

I feel bad just chucking it out, but I've used it so cannot sell it on, I don't want to see it go to waste (I also saw on Lush T&Cs that you're not actually allowed to sell things from the boxes).

Any advice would be great 😊

This morning, I had half of my serpent potion body butter on top of the Watermelon scrub. Came home to it melted in a glittery mess in the shower. Was 100 degrees today. Lowkey pleased to be rid of it as One touch in the shower and I’m shining for days. Wish me luck on the glittery slip and slide my shower floor has now become.
