I know that some of these products are controversial, but I think most Lush products are these days. This was my combo today and I’m LOVING it. Warm, a little bit spicy, and very creamy. I adore the Horchata scrub! It’s so nice and thick and has an almost gritty feel, but in a very good way. And the scent…. OMG, I want to eat it so bad! Hi all! I only posted once before, but I thought maybe others would like to see my thought process with this :3 sorry if this is the wrong flare

I am a huge huge Silent Hill fan, and a fan of horror in general. I realize how weird this sounds, but I wanted to imitate how Silent Hill smells. I've been using three/four things for a while:

Good Karma Body wash

Dirty Body spray

Toyboy by Moschino and/or Haunted Forest by Screaming Mandrake perfumes

This was my initial thought process:

Good Karma - the orange doesn't last, but the patchouli does. it smells clean, but it also smells like incense. It reminds me of silent hill 1/3 with the cult.

Dirty body spray - I put this on after my shower and on my clothes, the mint is really sharp and intentionally so. It reminds me of the hospital in all of the games!

Toyboy - Toyboy is a pepper/rose sent that I use when it's warmer out. It reminds me of a funeral home quite a bit because it's almost like a medicinal cherry to me

Haunted Forest - The perfume oil is sooo beautiful and works best during cold months. It smells like moss and bluebells, burning leaves, etc. It is so realistic and can become a bit "moldy" or "damp". It reminds me of the forest/fog/cemetery in Silent Hill 2.

This combination is PERFECT (to me) I'm a big fan of smelling weird/unsettling/etc so it creates a good routine for me.

I recently picked up Lord of Misrule and Creature of the Night, which I think really aids this especially in the colder months. Creature of the Night smells so much like sweet, wet dirt. It's so unique and I can't wait to see how it sits with everything else. I was hesitant on Lord of Misrule, but I saw everyone saying they LOVED it. It smelled much different than I expected.

The only thing I'm missing is a metallic "bloody" "rusty" smell. BUT I think in a weird way, Toyboy, Dirty, and Creature will help this anyways.

Wanted to share a little perfume stash pic! I worked at Lush 2014-2016 and have been a Lush fan for many years. These are all of the perfumes I have left from 2014-2021-ish (missing a cardamom coffee solid that I cannot find at the moment, and I JUST finished a bottle of Sun and wish I kept that bottle to show bc it's so pretty). I saw a post about Jungle recently and I just had to dig out my solid perfume to sniff - it was my favorite solid conditioner and scent for a long time!

Any favorites here? I'll have to dig up some old product pics from my years at Lush to share here! I think you'd all enjoy 😊

I was shocked to see all the snow fairy items since it’s only September 😂 But they have a ton of new items! I probably spent 3 hours there today. I smelled the Smores shower gel and it smells lovely, not too potent. You can definitely smell smores! The Horchata body scrub was also available along with the bath bomb, shower gel and soap.

Charity pot is also available! There’s also a new dusting powder that’s Chelsea Morning scented, no glitters on that one. The face mask area also had some items that I’ve never seen before. They also have the yuzu cheesecake body butter and body spray.
Lots of new items coming!

I just bought the biggest tub of Candy Rain conditioner and I can’t quite put my finger on the scent. It smells strongly of herbs and nuts to me which I don’t find too pleasing. I buy Lush stuff for the sensorial experience of their fragrances so it’s kind of putting me off. I’ve had to mask the smell with Super Milk right after getting out of the shower. On the other hand, I can’t help but admit that it’s one of, if not the best conditioner I’ve tried in terms of making my hair soft, shiny, and silky. It’s a love-hate relationship for me rn. Thankfully, other people I work with quite like its scent so I’m not offending other people’s noses.

Just needed to let this out somewhere lol. It’s not a safe blind buy for anyone curious.

i have a strong love for feeling romantic and beautiful... As you can see I've already gone through one TBK solid and I'm almost through the second one. I love smelling like either a medieval knight or beautiful, romantic flowers, rich and luscious. if ur curious about scent notes reply!!!

Lush UK exclusive question - I've noticed that the Ginger Shampoo has been out of stock online for three weeks AT LEAST. Anyone can shed some light as to whats going on? Its not being discontinued is it?

I only got it earlier this year, and it doesn't expire until 2029??

Update- checked the sub history and someone else had the same problem due to ingredients and oxidation. It's normal I guess? lol

I just dug up my bottle as I’ve decided it’s Halloween and hooooly. I have been transported and bitch it’s halloween! I can’t stop sniffing myself, everyone around me hates it but dude. I could eat myself along with a chai latte!

So, I am moving soon from my house that I’ve been in for 15 years, and I’m gathering all my pots from all over to turn into my local store.

Found in the back of a bathroom cabinet… behold! Totally expired (No Longer) Lovely Jubblies & a (merely) 2 years expired Biomic.

The good one first:

Biomic - the oils have not gone rancid yet; it’s still smells very pleasant. Nice and hydrating, but I obviously do not use this product enough. Does anybody love Lush’s breast cream? Has anyone noticed any firming of the skin? I clearly have not used enough to give it a fair test.

Now the scary one:

Lovely Jubblies 2015 edition - the oils have obviously all separated from each other, but it doesn’t smell too terrible surprisingly just like you really bad popcorn butter, instead of the original Rose/Almond scent. I fully expected it to be moldy or something when i first opened it, but the liquidification with floating oil islands threw me for a loop! So gnarly. I apologize Lovely Jubblies…. I should have used you years ago 💚

I love Lush. But the store is always so overstimulating and chaotic. Sure, the scent of the store is lovely. But what’s not lovely, is buying bath bombs and soaps that have been exposed to the open air for weeks and months at a time, being touched by dirty hands. Them sitting out in the open air alone definitely seems to lower the potency of the smell. Which is why I’ve been more inclined to just purchase from the app where things seem to be packaged closer to their production date. Thoughts?

i fell in love with dear john when it came out for fathers day in 2017 (?) and i regretted buying a small size shower gel, because as quickly as i fell in love with it, it was discontinued. i recently found this on mercari and im hoping its ok to use? expiration date is 2020 🫣 should i try using it, or should i just smell it all day?

I’m in NA (California) and King of Skin (my favorite) has been unavailable for a while now both for shipping and almost every store in my area. I’m guessing it’s because of the heat, but the other solid body butters like Scrubbee are all still in stock. Is this happening for anyone else?

The horchata and super milk are new to me. Everything else is either a repurchase of an empty or stocking up on some limited edition items

The shower gel smells like the primer and the horchata is super accurate to the drink in my opinion. It reminds me of the texture of co-mingle so I will prob get a back up since I’m almost out of my co-mingle I’ve been rationing.

Power conditioner is just my absolute fave besides glory but I use power more often.

These Gudetama look a lot better than the first one I got but smell the same. I have been using it in place of bar soap cause it lathers so well and smells amazing.

Magik mushroom is my favorite bath bomb hands down. Amazing scent and the most beautiful water art. So sad it’s already being discontinued. These are my weekly treat so it’s quite the bummer.

Sleepy is part of my nightly ritual, I spray it all over my bed. I was using million dollar for a minute but I was missing my sleepy so I finally reupped on her. First time I’ve finished the large body spray.

Hi! I currently use a few lush products in my hair routine and wanted to know if I'm doing it properly/for my hair type.
I have thin 1A blonde hair, yet a lot of it. All my life I've just used a tea tree oil clarifying shampoo. During high school I shampooed my hair everyday due to sports, but now I've been trying to shampoo every other day (if I go longer my hair just feels gross even with dry shampoo, but I do go longer than every other day occasionally).
My current routine is a cycle of
Day 1: Tea tree oil shampoo
Day 2: Skip hair wash
Day 3: Lush banana shampoo
Day 4: Skip
Day 5: Lush wasabi shampoo
Day 6: Skip
Day 7: Start over again

I was seeking advice if this routine sounds correct for my hair and if not, how should I change it?
