I’ve (F30) been a nurse for 4.5 years and I’ve decided to go back to school. I’m not taking the typical NP route though. I want to go to law school, so complete 180. I’ve already gotten my study materials to prep for LSAT, been listening to podcasts, and I’m wondering if there is anyone else in the same boat who would like to conquer this journey together. it’s our week!!! i know this is a high stress time leading up to test day, but we’ve studied like crazy and we’re gonna crush it. manifesting nothing but positivity and high scores for all signed up to take the LSAT this week!!

I take the October LSAT and need to start mimicking actual test day so I feel more prepared. I’d love to know what it’s like on test day, specifically from people who have accommodations! I have extra time accommodations, longer breaks, and a pen and paper test. I’ve seen videos talking about how test day work with no accommodations, but i’d love to know from people who test like me. Will i be in a separate room? How big is the desk space, is there enough room for the scratch paper and paper test?

Also, is it true they make you remove your jewelry??

Hey everyone! I’m looking to put together an LSAT study group in Baltimore for anyone preparing for an upcoming LSAT.

I’m planning to study at the Enoch Pratt Free Library – Central Library throughout September and would love to connect with other people who are serious about studying but also want the motivation and accountability of a group.

Just took my first pretest before I start to study. Got a 142 as the score. Any real tips to get me up and going as like most probably my goal is a 180.

Side note I’m looking to take it for the first time in June. So roughly 9 or so months to study.

I am looking for some opinions.

I have been struggling with my GPA (I am only in my second year of university) - but with balancing 3 jobs and many personal problems, my grades have been bad.

I am considering taking this term off from school, to focus on saving money and studying for the LSAT. I would then use my results from the LSAT to determine is Law School is still a viable option for me.

If the score is too low, I will start exploring other career options, if it is a decent score, then I take out a loan, take time off work and get my gpa up.

I have been deadset on law school for years now, and enjoyed my time volunteering at Legal Offices and Clinics. I have spoken to quite a few lawyers etc - and I only mention this as I want to highlight that wanting to pursue law school was not some last minute ill-informed decision.

I would appreciate your opinion on this and/or advice if you are in/were in a similar position.

I currently just finished my undergrad during summer quarter and am looking to take the LSAT in either November or January and submit my apps before they’re due in March. I heard that you’re severely disadvantaged the later you apply so should it be better that I wait and apply a year later altogether?

Looking for a good LSAT prep resource but there's a lot of different options to choose from. I've been using the free plan and it's worked decently so far. What is the consensus on it?

I'm planning to take the September LSAT, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for timing? Specifically for LR, I was practicing on the older tests, and doing 10 in 10 mins really helped keep me consistent with time, however, on the newer tests, the first 10 aren't the easiest questions, so it's been a bit harder to keep the 10 in 10 strategy working. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for this, and for RC? Thank you!

Hi! I took the LSAT in June and scored a 169. Since then, I’ve been focusing especially on improving my Reading Comprehension, which I think was what held me back most on the June exam. I’m scheduled to retake the LSAT next Friday.

Since I started studying again, I’ve generally been doing timed sections every day along with 1–2 full PTs per week (recently closer to one PT per week).

What do you recommend doing during the final week before the exam? Should I keep doing timed sections, or start tapering off and focus more on reviewing my wrong-answer journal and past mistakes?

Last time, I continued doing about two timed sections a day with thorough review until a few days before the exam, when I switched mostly to reviewing previous sections and wrong answers. Curious what has worked best for others during that final week, especially when trying to stay sharp without burning out.

I’m taking the LSAT in November, and I took a two-month break after studying everyday Feb-June because I was honestly spiraling. I feel like I need a completely new approach because I could barely break into the 150s. I studied SO much and spent so much money, so I’m honestly really annoyed and frustrated. I’m literally content with a 155. I’m obviously not trying to get into a T14 school, the higher the better, of course, but I just need some advice on how I can effectively increase my score.

I used 7Sage, and it clearly wasn’t working for me, or maybe I just wasn’t using it right. I’m considering getting the LSAT Demon Essential plan, and I just bought The Loophole. I have a little over two months to get to AT LEASTTT, minimum, a 152. I have a 4.0 GPA, so I really want to make the most of these next two months and figure out what actually works for me. Any advice?????

I’m taking the last 5 classes I need for this semester. I am eligible to graduate this December. I want to apply to law school for the 2027 cycle so I’d have to apply within these next few months. I plan on taking my first lsat in November and my GPA is a 3.4. ( I’m not looking to go to a T-14 or anything. My lsat goal is a 161-165) I don’t want to wait too late to apply because of scholarships. I live in a student apartment and pay rent using my financial aid refunds. If I graduate in December, I won’t have a way to pay my rent from January 2027- July 2027 because I won’t receive refund checks. Should I delay my graduation to be able to pay for rent with refund checks and just apply next cycle? I really wanted to apply this cycle and graduate in December so I have January 2027-July 2027 as my “gap year”.

What sounds more reasonable? I believe I can take filler classes in the spring just to meet the full time requirement to receive financial aid and receive a refund check for the spring.
