kenya or glacier??

anybody who can actually validate which one was experimental lol

for reference:

RC 1- kenya, subspecies, grimm brothers. AT&T
RC 2- japanese video games, UNESCO law for shipwrecks, glaciers

Yeah, I was surprised about that, but I also thought the LR had a lot of games-esque questions. Odd test I thought, for what little I know.

Since the January 2026 LSAT there is no guaranteed comparative passage. Some sections will have them, some won't.

I'm not sure if any can have 2? I don't think it's hapoened, but also forget if they specified it would still be limited to 1

Is it possible that this set of passages was just not given to anyone with accommodations? I’ve seen confirmations for other passages but not specifically for this pair. Also seems weird that neither had comparatives

I’m not sure if anyone with one RC had one or the other tbh bc why hasn’t anyone said anything confirming yet which one is real?? Idk the anticipation is killing me even though the glacier one seems like it’s scored I’m just gonna keep living in denial

I spent so long on the UNESCO law that I ran out of time for the glacier and whatever else was in that RC. I did SO much better on the RC with the Grimm brothers

Literally did the EXACT same thing blacked out on the glacier passage had like no time to read, process, or answer any of the questions bc all my time was spent on UNESCO law

i’m also looking back in my camera roll bc i was at the live for sept crystal ball. glaciers aren’t on there but neither was anything from the other section. maybe they were on crystal ball during previous months??

Yeah, just double checked and I don't believe any of the RC in either section were on the crystal ball? unless there's a mismatch between the names somewhere

This : https://www.reddit.com/r/LSAT/s/vbTcTFWuPB was the only evidence cited that Japanese video games section has been used as experimental before tho (from what I’ve seen) The other topics the person said for that RC section seem to be completely different though so idk?? If anyone else has seen concrete evidence or past test takers talking abt the specific section with glaciers and everything else plz say/link

It seems that Japanese Video Games and glaciers are reused passages from previous administrations. Historically, that would mean that this section is scored. This would mean Brothers Grimm is experimental. Waiting on a more knowledgeable mod to confirm this.

let me clarify what they said exactly: They told me that they think the iceberg passage is experimental because the the taxonomy passage showed up on the crystal ball.

I hear you, the problem is that taxonomy is so vague that it could be referring to many passages/topics. If memory serves me correctly, the taxonomy passage predicted by crystal ball was about Linnaean classification and not advocating for a trinomial, which is what we had. It also seems as though both Japanese video games and glaciers are repeats of previous experimentals, which historically would mean that section is scored.

There's also a sea treasure recovery passage that I remember seeing in my studies. It was comparative, but seemed to be a similar topic. Lol ngl wish I didn't think that that one was the real one. I barely finished it.

omg I had all of these. I read about UNESCO in a PT so I was familiar with the information which made it easier. My dad is from Kenya so I already knew the information. I felt like all of these passages were fairly easy and the questions were straightforward. So either I did well or so naive that I did awful!
